Catberry is a well-known name in Ghent, and now they also have their own cakes, cookies & coffee bar in the city center. Definitely a winner!

Outstanding selection of vegan options in a cozy, clean, inviting space. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Great place to get a coffee, do a bit of remote work, or simply relax and unwind.

Catberry Bar is pretty new bakery and coffee bar which cares about the environment. It resides is the city center of Ghent but breathes calmness. The owner is a lovely woman who has an eye for detail and pretty cakes! I like the chickpea chocolate chip cookies a lot.

It is located in a peaceful area and an ideal place to visit to grab a snack with hot beverages or takeaways. I came across Catberry Bar through the internet while looking into Valentine's Day (conceptional) dessert. Their webshop is nicely presented to what they offer, but it's worth a visit to check out what they offer onsite as their interior of the cafe is a nice place to sit and enjoy. Also, their desserts are just so pretty and such a waste to eat them like that. Their desserts got varieties from very sweet to bitter-sweet ones. I was too late to order the valentine box so I got myself cakesicle, cupcake with macaron, cookie, & mini tartelette. It's definitely your personal preferences to enjoy those desserts as I was big fun of everything (super sweet ones like the mini tartelette / average sweet cookie & cakesicle, which was more of my taste / cupcake which was on a bitter side but the decorations itself was sweet to compensate it). I definitely understand the reason why Catberry is very popular, and I really do respect and admire the self-taught baker who creates pretty desserts. Also the staff was very friendly in the store. I definitely recommend coming here (Sunday was very calm when I visited the cafe).

Such a lovely place to have a coffee with friends. Or alone. The pastries are not only beautiful but also delicious! They even had a sugerfree and glutenfree option when I was there. The interior is so cosy with all the plants and pink velvet chairs. Highly recommend!

Best cakes ever! Delicious vegan cakes and coffees and omg the cup cakes are to die for. Have a cake and coffee there or just grab some to take away. You will not regret it!

Really tasty cupcakes and coffees! We had the dirty chai and it was amazing! Chill atmosphere and really friendly servers.

I've visited once with coworkers, and can definitely recommend this place for some quiet time to get through your emails! and otherwise, I've just passed by to get a coffee and some nice dessert for Sundays - the vibes are always so welcoming ! Never forget though, the coffee, teas and more are amazing and the pastries are just delicious. My personal favorite? the blueberry scones! 🩵

A bit off the beaten path near Zuid but definitely worth it to have a coffee, some cookies or cake. Perfect after a day of strolling around in Ghent and getting a sugar and caffeine boost.
