I have not met anyone and cannot comment on the people. However I have been probably unlucky and all started with a number to recover the key in the locker that was false, I had to call the support line (there is no reception - It was 23:30). I was looking for a quiet and dark room for a recharging night but this was not the case. In the bedroom I could hear the noise from the street like if I would be outside and the light of the street lights was illuminating the room like a sunny day, despite the curtains. I have not used the room at all since I have noticed the problem immediately and I have called again the support number. The (kind) girl told me to take some hearing plugs that shall have been on the nightstand but there were not. I have decided to leave immediately and went to the Ibis hotel (100 m from this hotel). For the third time I have called the girl and informed her about my departure so that the room could be used by someone else. I have paid two rooms that night but it was worth it! Given my poor experience I cannot recommend La Lys Rooms and Suites.

This place is perfect. Amazing location, clean spacious rooms. Coffee machine in every room with free coffee and bottles of water. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

A lovely stay just on the border of the city center. There are two parking garages just a few minutes of walking away. The room van very spacious and clean. Our room even came with two smart tvs! One per bed. The self checkin and checkout was also very easy. What surprised us was the large common area on the ground floor. There were toilets, lots of tables and chairs, big fridges with all kinds or drinks that you can buy and a wireless phone charging station. And you can also leave your luggage there. You can access this area before checkin and after checkout. This meant we could leave our bags until 8 o'clock in the evening after check out and could even charge our phones for a bit before going back home. The only two things I could say that were just a little less positive. Is that we missed a mirror in the room outside of the bathroom and that there is no elevator.

We had an excellent stay at La Lys. The location is perfect for visiting the city. The self check-in and check-out process was efficient and when we had an issue with the WiFi connection, and when we reported it to the owner, he very quickly turned up to the apartment. The apartment was bright and spacious, and refreshments were available, including a bottle of water on our arrival, which was appreciated. The bathroom was also good. On the day of our departure we temporarily left our luggage in the common room. This option was convenient, and ensured we could enjoy the last hours in the city. All in all, highly recommended!

The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. It is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and send out emails with fantastic local recommendations!
