A WOW experience! The team at Rivage are so welcoming, polite, friendly and the venue is amazing! My massage by Kimberly was EXCEPTIONAL! She is so professional and experienced in massage therapy with unique techniques for stiffness and relaxation. OMG - can't wait to return!

I had received a gift card and so was not sure what to expect. Outstanding service at the reception. Loved their relaxing lounge with free beverages, fruits and some baked goods. And the massage was simply the best I have ever had. My therapist was Jen. She used essential Oils , multiple hot towels and heating pads to relax certain tense areas. Had an excellent deep tissue massage. Would highly recommend.

Kimberly was my massage therapist today. She provided me with an outstanding and exceptional massage. I got the 60 min deep tissue massage and it was top-notch. She is a true gem!! Her skills were even better than those I have received at luxurious spas (internationally) and that I think is a testimony to her skill and dedication to her craft. I feel brand new!! Not only was she a phenomenal therapist, her personality and positive vibe made the massage even more enjoyable! Thank you Kimberly! I will be back!

Deep tissue massage, barely any pressure at all, extremely light. It's a clean place, but I just felt like for how much you are paying I did not think that was a deep tissue massage, it was relaxing but not what I paid for unfortunately.

My massage today with Kimberly was the best I ever had. She's really intuitive and has a great technique. Some people seem like they have a "checklist" of muscle groups to massage, but Kimberly uses a holistic approach that targets connecting muscle groups. She also incorporates heat, which is wonderful. I highly recommend her.

Can't emphasize enough how amazing the experience is at Rivage Day Spa in Downtown Birmingham. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with professionalism and smiles. The massages are out of this world. I had never gotten a facial before, and I was blown away with how much I actually enjoyed it. My wife can't get enough of the treatments they provide, and we both love going here together for a couples pampering afternoon or evening away from the kids. Highly recommend!!

The nail technician who did my mani and pedi by the name of staci was an absolute angel. Very kind I have nothing but good to say about her. The reason why I’m leaving a one star review is because of the way this salon is not transparent about their prices. I called and asked for a mani and pedi, the representative over the phone asked if I needed a gel removal I said yes I do and with me being a new client, they did not even disclose prices with me or if there was a fee for removals. Never did she mention that there was a hefty fee that comes along with that. With the way she asked it was like she offered, i think it’s very unfortunate and rude to not be up front with a price. I have never had a salon charge me $20 for EACH area to remove something as simple as gel! That’s absurd they charged me $20 for my hands and $20 for my feet just for the removal alone when you go to any other salon a full mani or pedi alone is $45. I ended up paying $40 just to remove some gel polish off my fingers on top of the cost of the service. In a way this spa scams customers by not being transparent about what exactly you will have to pay for. I don’t blame the nail tech, she was a very nice lady, I blame the person I spoke to over the phone who did not inform me what to expect. I have no problem paying for a service as long as I have knowledge of it instead of being hit with a hefty price at the end of my service. Los Angeles nail salons do not even charge as much as this place does. I got a basic mani and pedi with regular POLISH only, nothing special no gel no nothing and it brought my total to $145. I have never been charged so much for nails before in my life. Won’t be back to this place ever that was just completely and utterly shady behavior. Please do me a favor take a look at my nails and tell me if this is worth a $145 job. They’re basic white nail polish with a classic service, nothing special added on. Such a shame wish I would have stayed away instead of giving this place a chance.

I was bought a massage. The service was great. I was taken straight back to the massage room due to me arriving late, otherwise I could have changed in the locker room and enjoyed some treats in their lounge area. They offer coffee, champagne, or mimosa for you to enjoy while relaxing in the lounge as well as some pastries. The hostess was very attentive an checked twice on me to see if I needed anything else. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves for our anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier! Lisa, who took and made the appointment was very pleasant to speak with and was very knowledgeable. The remaining staff we came into contact with were also very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again for services.

That was by far the best massage I have ever gotten. Terry was AMAZING. I felt like she was reading my mind. It was perfect. All the staff were so friendly and I felt treated like royalty. What a beautiful atmosphere too!

I loved my experience at Rivage Day Spa in Birmingham. All of the employees were very friendly and professional. My treatment was fully explained and went smoothly. The Spa is a beautiful space which promotes relaxation. Prices are reasonable. Nahil is very knowledgeable on the latest technology.

I had the most amazing massage at Rivage! Bailey greeted me and was so sweet and friendly and I had my massage with Viola. I highly recommend her! From the moment you’re given a plush robe and flip flops to change into it goes uphill. You relax before and after in a very serene lounge area with comfortable chairs and chase lounges with light snacks and water, coffee or tea. You are, also. offered a mimosa at the conclusion of your treatment. Daisy, an employee, was extremely friendly and helpful with the few questions I had. Viola’s massage was so relaxing and she only talked to you if/when you wanted to make conversation. She used hot towels, hot wraps and, again, from start to finish the massage was incredible!

Sam did an amazing job on my custom facial. She really took the time to go over my current skincare and even set aside products that would be a good fit in my regimen. Nick was absolutely phenomenal with my therapeutic massage. He went above & beyond to make sure I had a relaxing experience. I have never felt so relaxed in my life

Amazing experience all around! Everything from booking services to checking out was very pleasant. It’s a beautiful, modern cleanly updated spa with a great staff. Four of us came here as a bachelorette party/bridal party and we’re very glad we did we all enjoyed our services very much! I would definitely recommend to anyone.

My friends and I planned a celebratory girls spa day here, and we were treated like royalty! They far exceeded my expectations. The pedicure room is intimate and quiet. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. I will definitely be returning!

Not impressed. I will continue going to my regular nail salon. I had the cashmere lux manicure which looked great for 3 days then started to chip away. On my second visit I had a prenatal massage, something I was looking forward to but once again left feeling disappointed. It was more of a rub down and very fast motion. I did not find it relaxing at all.

This is my go to spot when I really want to decompress. The employees are always polite. The atmosphere is always peaceful. My massage therapist was Kimberly. A lovely WOC, who i request each time. And each time she delivers! I love it there. They do book up months in advance.

The whole Experience was amazing, from Start to Finish, atmosphere was welcoming, Staff was nice and helpful.. Nina did my Massage she was amazing and very understanding and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back and referring others.....
