Ok so, it's Mediterranean by definition, but that's it. This is, if there ever could be, the Mediterranean version of Hardee's in a mini-mall. Bland flavors with tidbits of gristle all while being WAY overpriced, minimal portions. $19 for that chicken (what they call Souvlaki) that was marinated in water and vinegar with paprika for 10 hours. COME ON...more water than vinegar too. That hummus... isn't worth the container it comes in let alone nearly $8 for that portion.... please... Dropped almost $100 and got less then a Taco bell order under 20 bucks. Will NEVER return here. I should have expected it from the way it looked on the outside. If you trust the other reviews, it's your own fault... just like it was for me. Hope this helps you avoid the wasted expenses. Wish someone would have reviewed this adequately prior to my experience.

Just because he shaves his remaining hair doesn’t mean that he’s not losing the average loss of 80 hairs per day. The food here is always fresh and taste sooo good.. the rice bowl is my favorite especially when I add the steak skewers medium well done … the Athenian burger is bursting with flavor as well. Never dissappointed

Really healthy food at a great price. Fresh salad. Good quality meat. Overall, all a wonderful place to have lunch and dinner. The restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly and respectful.

Was there on a road trip in sterling heights and stopped at the location for lunch Was busy and authentic Greek place, food tastes yummy and fresh . Fires reminded of their Cajun flavour, would like the meat to be more cooked however never tasted frozen Worth the price, would recommend anyone to try it.

This is the second time I have had a meal at the Great Greek. Both times have been fantastic. The food is great and the food is just as good as if you go to Greek town. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a new regular customer. I am never disappointed

Great food but $18 for a rice bowl with meat is just something I can’t believe. No where near $18. I remember when they first opened, I was paying $13 for a rice bowl and meat. What a rip off! The higher/more frequent you raise your prices, the easier you will lose valued customers. $40 for 2 people and carryout (plus no drinks) is absolutely ridiculous. I have worked in the food industry for 8 years and have never seen raises like this. I will take my business to cheaper mediterraneans places with same quality of food.

It was my first time there.. food was good, but I won't be going back. I had met a friend who I hadn't seen in months.. so even tho we had finished eating, we were still visiting. At 745, a worker came over to our table to tell us they were closing. Mind you, there were 2 families still eating and someone waiting for takeout.. we were not the only people in there.. not to mention it was 745 and you close at 8. I've worked in the service industry for 20 years, and if I'd ever asked a table to leave, yet alone before closing, I would have been fired. I can get Mediterranean food somewhere that is more welcoming of the money I'm spending at their establishment, not pushing me out the door. It's not a good way to get return guests. 😕
