This place has been here ever since I was a kid and it is a Pontiac Michigan Institution. Even through a pandemic, they are still operating and serving nothing but the best food to quench your lunch appetite. Try their navy bean and ham soup and also their gumbo soup. But you can't go wrong with a good old-fashioned Coney Dog with everything on it. In crazy times like we're having these last couple years, don't forget to support your restaurants and your service Industries. Without them America would be in a sad state of affairs.

This is an amazing little family owned Coney island. I've been coming here with my family since I was 6. I'm now 44 yrs old! I have never had a bad experience with them. The staff are always friendly, polite and respectful. There food is absolutely DELICIOUS 😋!!! Don't let the price fool you. There worth there weight in gold. Lots of menu items to choose from and there cooked right in front of you. Over the years; the interior is not as flashy when I was little, but there very clean and sanitary. I enjoy their coney dog and chili, but they continuing to be carry out only, this is an issue, how do you eat a coney in the car? You just wear it. Maybe a ridge hot dog box, not wrapped in wax paper. The last time I was in the area and stopped in . I walked out without ordering because I didn’t not wanting to wear it or deal with soggy dig when I did get home. Went to another Pontiac institution “ Chief Dig” on Walton blvd.

No longer offering dine in service takes the fun out of an experience I've had from a child.

Small building that is currently take out only. Staff is very quick and friendly. Food was delicious, one of the better Coney dogs in the area. It's definitely a must stop if you're looking for a quick delicious bite to eat.

I give it a 5 because of personal history. My mom used to take me to the original restaurant when it was off of Jackson St. In fact, she told me that she and my dad went there the day after they got married. Pete's has been around a LONG time. The chili is a little watered down, but hey - it's still one of my favorite spots.

Well, Pete's Coney Island is a bonified landmark. But, due to life's progress the food has taken a hit. Especially the Chilli and the hotdogs. Childhood memories keeps me going.

A perfect old school coney island. Looks like it hasn't changed in 40 years and they make great, simple food. Their hash brown game is untouchable, just look at that crispy crust.

Been going there for over 55 years with my family. Pete’s shared a parking lot with us. Still great after all the years.

They have the best coneys in pontiac. They close early. And no fries but worth stoping in for the coneys.

My husband goes here for his coneys. They close early and no longer take orders over the phone, in-person only.

dining area closed only two people in the building. The owner/cook and the waitress/cashier. Coney's were ok. Take out only.

Been going to Pete's since I was a little boy. When I come home to visit I have to get a Pete's coney.

I got two chili cheese burgers and coke and a bag of chips I really enjoyed the food it took me back to my childhood. I found out that they are still under the same ownership family and will be celebrating 100 years.

Not too salty chilly, not too strong onion, not too greasy or salty dog, hint of refried bean?. Perfect tast for me. Buns gets little soggy couse they wrrap with wax papper for take out. I tried there burgger too.
