Moon is the absolute greatest! I ordered a lemon drop and the bang bang shrimp tacos. I arrived shortly after the 8 and the cook still prepared my order even though the kitchen closed. The food was soooooooo good and my drinks were the best! So happy that the Anchor Bar had reopened!

I liked the ruffle chips. The burger ($11.50) resembled a burger, but if the burger was extra crunchy. The chicken tenders ($14) were like McDonalds chicken nuggets but flat. The Maurice salad ($11) came with a hardboiled egg "en shell", and the olives were accompanied by some beautifully aged deli ham.

Glad to be able to go back to my favorite dive bar! Made sure to come for their reopening. Excited to see that the menu still has some of the known food as well as some new additions I can’t wait to try. Tonight I was craving the Boom Bang Shrimp Tacos. They are delicious. I highly recommend them. You also can’t beat the specials they are running all of April! Make sure to check them out. The service is amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely awesome!! My class and I had an end of the year event here and they were so accommodating. We were placed in the back room which felt like we had our own private area! Also, our waitress was so nice and did a great job at serving all of us. I 100% would go back!

Poor experience here, would not recommend for a quick stop in. Bartender took fifteen minutes to check in with us after checking her phone three times first. This was a slow Saturday afternoon mind you. Went to order and they only had 5 beers available out of 16 taps. The final straw was the pour I got with about 3-4 inches of foam…

Here we go! 1. Food was overall very good (grilled chicken wrap (awesome), fish and chips (great portion) and the fried chicken sandwich (alright). Got the garbage can nachos. It’s best they’re kept in an actual garbage can. Chips stale, very bland flavor. 2. Service was poor. She was the only server working the floor and once it got busy, we didn’t see her. Not 1 refill on waters. Notta. Went 2months ago and she was on point but they were not busy AT ALL. 3. Space is nice and overall good vibes.

Really cool place, love the lay out! Went here with some work colleagues, was a good time but the service was pretty slow and not to much smiling going on. A big part of going out to me is the experience, unfortunately my favorite part of this place was forsure the set up. I'd go back to this place but next time maybe go straight to the bar grab a drink and wait it out and eat my food right away because the tenders and fries got soggy quick.

Used to go to this place all the time, even driving an hour down just to get a Burger. Miss Brad being on the grill and having the freedom to do what he does best.. The new owner really should listen to him. We've been back many many times and we just can't get the Burger we crave.. We feel lost without it. 😪

Chill bar with interesting esthetics. A few taps working today but the drinks were cold and food came out fast. A few tvs to watch the game. Table and bar seating available. Got the truffle fries with the Parmesan Aioli and they were great. Would like to come back to try some other dishes!

The shrimp tacos were the bomb the drinks were okay wasn't really that impressed the ambiance was nice most definitely love the shrimp taco that's what I would go back for the drink specials were not exciting or different

Anchor bar is amazing! They were super accommodating with our large group. I want to thank the server and manager for going above and beyond!! Drinks and food were fantastic. All I can say is If you haven’t been to Anchor bar you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome service , thank you Taelor and Alexis for making the night incredible and a night to remember for me and my fiancé, will be back next weekend and every year to come ! Hope to see them! And they were so kind to my baby they let her hang out with us and even offered to help with her after to getting to know them for while!

Decided to stop here for a late lunch the other day. When we walked in, we were not greeted, but told rather sharply that it would be a while for our food. We sat down anyway at a less than clean table. Food wasn't very good. Our actual waitress was nice, but the place just sucked.

Nice bar, decent bar food, friendly service. The fries are yummy 😋

The place feels off with the service; we waited a good bit seeing as it was busy but after no acknowledgement - we left. After reading some of the other reviews this seems to be an issue. Glad we left. If you don't feel welcomed, why stay?

Hubby & I ate here after picking up his Free Press Marathon race packet. Pretty cool that it's located across from the starting point for the race. Wasn't crowded, yet, so service was speedy. Our server was very helpful with suggestions as it was our 1st time there. Hubby loaded up on carbs while I had a chicken wrap with fries. Forgot to take food pics. 🙃 Everything was scrumptious, though. Will be back under "normal" circumstances.

I’ve lived so close to here for 5 years, and I am outraged I only now discovered this spot. I just ate the perfectly toasted, perfectly everything tuna melt. The rest of the menu looks great. Had no idea this is the same owner as Parc! I’m overjoyed it’s so darn delicious

Terrible experience here. The food was great but the server did not let us know she couldn't give individual bills for groups of more than 4. We were there almost an hour while she figured out how to charge our credit cards individually, overcharged our credit cards, and caused us to miss a session of a conference we were attending. After returning to my home, hours away, my debit card charged and she scanned my card twice. Long story short, I paid $74.34 for shrimp tacos and a coke. Even after calling and speaking to the manager (and him saying he would remove one charge) the charge has not been reversed. Great food if you want to be ripped off and be forced to pay a big tip for unhelpful employees.

I just had the Boom Bang shrimp tacos. They were amazing. And the waitress Jessica was super sweet and very ontop of her job. ❤️ Will definitely be back for more food.

Anchor Bar is my favorite lunch spot to go to during the work week. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delightful. My favorite entrees here are the Fish and Chips as well as the Boom Bang Shrimp Tacos. The General Manager Stephanie is very attentive and a pleasure to see when we visit Anchor Bar.

Food was decent, what they had. They were out of boneless wings, out of french fries, out of 3 draft beers from their list, and that's just what we asked for. This is on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm. I had an Amber Bock draft and it was clear from the first sip that the tap had not been cleaned in awhile as it had the taste you can't mistake.. Their hours are until 10, but they last called us at 8:50 because the shift manager (Ethan) didn't want to stay open. They locked the doors after we came in and didn't want to serve us as they said the door was supposed to be locked already. We counted 10 people within 20 minutes that came to the door and we turned away. If you're closing early at least post it on the door. I felt bad for our waitress (Felicia) as she was very apologetic. Very disappointing.

The Jankor Bar. Errr Anchor Bar. Maybe they had a bad day. The "smash" burger was a frozen Sysco burger. Not sure why they feel they are foodie destination. Probably good for bar good and the game, but for a quality meal, probably should look elsewhere.

Service was good but the fried chicken sandwich was way too salty to enjoy. Would not recommend getting that.

Still a very nice place to have a bite and a drink. And the scenery is cool. One hidden gem.

My husband and I hosted a wedding event in the banquet room earlier this month. They allowed us to have a slide show playing on the TV screen, and "Krystal with a K" was an amazing bartender who took excellent care of us. There were so many of us having an amazing time, they stayed open later for us and continued to make us feel welcome as they fed us tasty sliders, chicken wings, tenders, and fries. The entire staff was awesome and I can't say enough good things about our experience. Great job Anchor Bar team (and especially you, Krystal with a K!!!!!) Y'all made our wedding reception more wonderful than we could have imagined.

Walked in mid week, had great service and enjoyable atmosphere. Will be my go to bar, bring my friends next time.

Better every time i go in. Faster service, better food and the service seems better every time. Maybe i am just getting used to the dive bar personality. I was suprised to see that there was a party in a private room i never knew existed. If i did i would have scheduled my draft party there..... private bar.... no question. Worth stopping in.

I came into Anchor Bar for my lunch today and was served by Moon. She was extremely attentive and made my experience amazing. I will definitely be coming back to see her again!! Great drinks and food 10/10 would recommend

This place is very unreliable. Every time I try to eat there it’s either the kitchen is closed super early or the entire place is closed super early. How are they expecting to get any regulars if they’re closing before 6 on a Friday night? It’s a cool place but I’ll stick to places that are open and serve food.
