Super good burgers and milkshakes! The tots are yummy, too. Love the jams they play, and old school diner feel. Fun location, too near the train station - cool to see the building take shape with every visit. We’ve sat inside each time, but their patio looks fun!

Mercury Burger bar never disappoints! A great atmosphere with great views of Michigan Avenue and the Michigan Central Station. The chocolate 🍫 malts are perfect 👌🏽 and their burgers are delicious. We got the Chorizo burger/Southwest burger 🍔 and it was excellent. Friendly, welcoming staff, and easy street parking or attended lot parking nearby.

Loved the food here, the seasoned fries were out of this world. Very friendly service. You get your money's worth. Will definitely be back here.

The onion rings were really good, and the poutine tots were amazing. The Classic burger was delicious. The fried bologna sandwich was very good (and huge). The pulled pork burger was alright, not a big fan of the pork. The fries were a bit under seasoned. The service was really good. All in all, I would could come back.

This was such a good lunch spot. The turkey burger had a flavor that was a first time experience for me. Not sure what the seasoning was, but I enjoyed it! Very nostalgic is the vibe in my view. I bet in summer this is a really good place for a small group or a couple of friends or whoever! Seating downstairs as well too.

We have been coming to the patio at Mercury with shelter puppies from Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit for months now (this gives the dogs a chance to decompress, meet people, and see the sights). We love the food, and the service is always spot on. They remember us and our orders, and always give the puppies some love. We especially like that the patio is sheltered from the weather and heated.

Yum!!! Home-made Tots!!! Poutine tots...dark, thick & delicious gravy. Friends loved the Chilli cheese tots & veggie friends loved the plain tots. Every food out of the kitchen looks delicious too and the service is excellent. Enjoy and have fun.

We enjoyed our food, the service was good, the time between ordering and getting food wasn't too long. We ordered the Detroit burger, the French Onion burger and tater totchos. Although visually appealing, we personally wouldn't order totchos again due to the cheese, it was just hot, flavorless, wet goop- we were expecting nacho cheese like the creamy and spicy liquid gold found at a sporting event. Nice selection of draft beers, the cocktails were decent and the burgers were tasty.

Nice bar restaurant, casual a bit retro but modern in its rendition. The burger I got there was very good, and the garlic fries had real fresh garlic. There is an outdoor area, but this time of the year, it's not a good idea. The server was attentive, and he checked in regularly to see if I needed anything and to know if the food was satisfactory.

Excellent place to eat, while working at the Michigan Central Station a couple guys suggested I try the Mercury Burger joint while in town. I took their advice and had my wife and my three daughters meet me for lunch, we ordered out and had lunch in front of the beautiful train station. I had the Chorizo burger and it was delicious. My wife had the rodeo burger and it was great too. My daughters got plain hot dogs and they loved them. Would definitely recommend this place

Charismatic restaurant! Delicious burger and Vernors ginger ale. I got the s'mores milkshake and it was good but not mind-blowing. Loved the staff - everyone was great!!

We had a training seminar and decided to break here for lunch. I will say the hostess didn't seem happy the fact we came in with six then a few more people dropped in (unknowilgly) and sat with us. And was giving us weird looks (only reason fornthe 3 stars on service) I ordered a Blue Apple sandwich (pictured) looked amazing and the taste was good as well. The fries were tasty as well. I got the seasoned fries but you could get garlic, parmesean and another flavor i believe. Our waitress was good and kept everybody's beverages filled. We had 1 person that didn't like something and it was removed and taken off the bill. All in all this is my 2nd time there and I'd def go back and try other items

We were here on 11/10/23 and our awesome server was "Anna" there was four of us and we all loved our burgers. the drinks/cocktails were great. It has the diner feeling and it looks small but there is more seating I believe downstairs. This is in "corktown" which they are redeveloping the area and it is nice see people walking in the neighborhood. This is a must check out place.

Fun atmosphere, friendly staff & good service. I got the topors burger, it was good but not really mind-blowing. The server said that the "hot peppers" are a 7/10 on spice but I would put it at like a 1 or 2 out of 10. The garlic fries are not worth getting. It's just fries with huge chunks of mostly-raw garlic on top. The fries quickly got soggy and the garlic didn't really add much. Sweet potato fries are pretty decent though. Also, the BBQ sauce is very unique - tastes like it has apples in it?

Burgers were great, the sweet potato fries are a great choice. The poutine was disappointing. But it's a cool spot and not far from Comerica. I'd have one of the craft drafts next time. I had to drive home to Cleveland and the had NA Heineken

Really great bar with lots of outdoor seating. Perfect during these times. Really enjoyed our survive and my unique salmon burger. It worked surprisingly well and the salmon tasted like it was sourced well. Love their spiked milkshakes definitely the must try!

First time here and defiantly coming back. Ben was awesome first of all. He was very nice and welcoming. I only got a chicken sandwich but you could tell it was homemade and had great flavor. All the food coming out looked delicious as well!

Super cute neighborhood bar it used to be a long-standing neighborhood spot in the Corktown community , a variety of beverages and bar food essentially burgers, and poutine tots a nice variety and selection, and absolutely delicious alcohol infused shakes

Classic comfort food with a flavorful twist. Food vibe, good scene, & boozy milkshakes, what more is needed. Dinner feel on the inside, chill patio on the outside.

As always, the Mercury delivers. Fantastic burgers and my favorite tots in Michigan. The Poutine tots are the absolute best! Had the chicken sandwich this time and it was delicious. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and paired nicely with the cowboy candy on top. Had a few mix ups with the order, but nothing that the staff couldn't correct easily. Can't wait to go back!

Get the tots. Oh the burgers are good too. The poutine tots are one of the best things at this place. Friendly service, good food, what more could you ask for. Seriously, get the tots.

Had burgers, tater tots, salted caramel milk shake and Cole slaw. Very cool place. Ate outside on the patio. Dog friendly.

Nice enough for a downtown adventure when wait at Slow's or Cork & Gabel is too long... try it, you'll like it! (Basement seating a bummer. ) Photos of Strawberry Shake that's REALLY creamy, Classic Burger, Fries with REAL GARLIC! Real treat was Bleu Apple Burger.

Visiting Detroit with friends and ran across this "diner like" dive bar. Cozy, friendly atmosphere with great music, food, and drinks! Would definitely recommend and return.

This was a good local place to choose for dinner for out of towners. I always prefer to find a local place over a chain especially while on a trip. I would recommend Mercury Burger & Bar for sure!

Nice place, service was a little slow and didn't seem to busy but food was amazing and at least the waitress nice just seems like she may have been new.

The adult shakes were awesome. We had tots and garlic fries. For some reason I was expecting a Greek fry with yogurt and feta cheese but that was totally my fault. Everything was very good!

I love the food from here. It's absolutely delicious. They have a good variety of burgers and the sides are tasty. The drinks were paired well and were good. The only thing is don't like about this place is its expensive. I consider this to be a dive, and dives are usually affordable. I shouldn't be paying close to 100 for 2 adults and 3 kids all under 10. There is no kid menu so adult portions it is. Overall is good food , just don't expect a bargain of a place to eat.

Great place for a burger, fries & a shake. Portion sizes are good. I had a bacon cheddar burger, chilli fries with cheese, and a strawberry milkshake. My partner had The Juicy & a chocolate shake. Our tab was just over $43. Standard burger bar feel and decor with music playing overhead and a couple TVs showing whatever game is on. No frills, no thrills. Laid back kind of place. We dined in on a Sunday afternoon just after 12p, and there was only one other person in there. There is a lower level with additional seating. Parking is on Michigan Ave or the side street.
