My girlfriend and I just recently went to this location and placed an order to go. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a burger, as well as truffle fries to go. The wait was average. We were so excited to eat our food when we got home because we've never tried Wahlburgers before. My girlfriend's burger was good, but halfway through my chicken sandwich I noticed it was chewy and then I realized that it was completely underdone and raw in the middle. The most disappointing thing about this experience was when I called back for a refund. They refused to give me one until I brought the chicken sandwich back to the store, keep in mind that I live 10 minutes away, and they were about to close. All I was asking for was a refund because of the unedible sandwhich, but the response I was given was rude and unprofessional.

Really good! They have gluten free buns and we had the adult shake, so yummy. The burgers were good sizes too.

Such a wonderful experience: A friendly greeting upon arriving from Mgr. Patricia, and before we left being so hospitable and showing appreciation that we were there. Our Waitress, Sylvia, was very attentive and friendly. Even the hostess upstairs (didn’t get her name) and the young man that brought us our drinks wore smiles. We all enjoyed the food. The best part of all, was when Mgr. Patricia asked Paul Wahlburg if he’d stop by our table after we told her that my niece has always been a fan of all the brothers. Us too! And he did!! What a down to earth and humble man. My brother Nick loves the hat and appreciated that. I highly recommend this place. Thanks again for everything and God bless!

Great burgers and other items. Variety of flavored TOTS. Perfect for a quick lunch for those close to downtown. Right across from Greektown Casino. You can have lunch here then go play. Make sure to download the walhclub app to get $5.00 off your purchase too. Fast and friendly service.

Stopped in before the Elton John concert for dinner and was not disappointed! The food was great, drinks were phenomenal, but what was even better was the service we received from the waitress working behind the bar. They were very short staffed on a busy evening and despite some tough conditions and rude patrons, she was still full of kindness and wonderful hospitality! Really made our dinner top notch!

Only giving 3stars cuz the waitress was great. Food was terrible. Bacon mac n cheese tasted like cardboard. Buffalo Wahlbites mushy pieces of garbage. Wife ordered BBQ Bacon Burger no bun. I will let the picture tell the story. First time there. Never going back.

I really enjoyed this place, been wanting to eat at one since watching the show. It’s a bit weird walking in and them having a person at the door, almost like a bouncer but I get the reasoning behind it seeing the location. The staff was friendly, and our waitress was really nice. We ordered Buffalo chicken bites as an app and 2 burgers and the Mac and cheese. I got the melt, and it was really great. I’m not a burger person but if I came back I would get it again. Only gripe is they should have a better shirt/merchandise selection.

Overpriced and overrated. Thought the concept of government cheese was interesting until the burger prices started at $13. That's correct, just the double cheeseburger. Added sautéed onions and cheese for an upcharge. Add a tiny welfare shake (garbage ice-cream) for $5 and some thin onion rings for another $5 + tip and you have yourself a $25+ dollar cheeseburger meal each person. Now if it was delectable in the end then maybe it would be worth it, maybe, but it was a cheeseburger, fries, "onion rings" and a garbage shake (McDonald's has a better shake). Good service by our waiter though. Gave him like a 30% tip. Just hit 5 guys on the corner. Going to cost about the same but the burger will be bigger and better, the shake will be bigger and better, the onion rings are better and the fries are better. Plus you can add extra toppings for free there so your price doesn't raise for extra onion, etc...

Yummy burgers and drinks! We had the truffle fries, fried pickles, The Our Burger, The Double Decker, and the Endless Love cocktail! The burgers were so fluffy and the sauce was so good!! The cocktail was dangerously juice like even though it has vodka! Tried a sample of the Wahlbrewski that tasted like a seltzer.

I love Wahlburgers! Everytime I come to Detroit or go to Vegas I eat at Wahlburgers. I've had it other places also they have really expanded. O get Paul's favorite almost every time with fries. I've always had a great experience and I will continue to go. The special sauce is great and the pickles are the best!!!

We came to town for a concert and stumbled across Wahlburgers. Since we’re huge Burger and Tots sorta guys we thought this had to be a win. We were incorrect. The wait for our food was about 40 min and they seemed short staffed.. so completely understandable. Our waitress did as good as can be expected and was very pleasant and apologetic. The food itself was VERY underwhelming. Both burgers were completely flavorless and super greasy. Mine was the fiesta burger so you’d think there would be tons of flavor ( jalapeños, salsa etc). Nope. We also got a tots flight. The bacon cheese tots were actually very good despite the undercooked onions. The bbq chicken tots were also good but neither of us were a fan of of the bbq sauce. The truffle tots.. eh.. and I am a truffle/ mushroom fiend generally. Too much truffle oil. We got tots with the burgers too because a slaw upgrade was $3.95 more each because they consider it a premium side. We were both going to buy T Shirts but after the underwhelming burgers we decided against it. 3 stars for the tot flight and the waitress trying seems fair to me. Would not recommend nor go again based on the flavorless greasy burgers.

Server Patrick & Derivia were Amazing ! So kind, Quick and Polite. Great Service. Food was Amazing Bacon Mac to Die for, and burgers made any way u want em. Would Reccomend!

Great food! Fiesta Burger is great if you love hot, spicy things! Spicy strawberry jalapeño margarita is another favorite. Ashley was an amazing waitress & bartender.

Food was amazing, of course though because it's Wahlburgers. I went about an hour before they closed, and I still got great service. Food was out fast and didn't look like it was thrown together. I definitely recommend this location.

Ashley, our host/server, was accommodating and attentive to us the whole time. My kids and my parents enjoyed their first time experience there. I had the double burger and it was perfectly made to order!

While the food was amazing (the spicy tots are TO DIE FOR and the burger was perfect), the staff was slow, uninviting and left us wishing we had chosen another place to eat.

Service was awesome. Food was good but I expected a little more when it came to portions. Fries were small. Potatoes are the cheapest food ever and for the price I expected a little more. Especially in Detroit where most burger joints give pretty good portion. The sauce is like a tweaked big boy sauce. All in all it’s was a decent place to eat.

I had high expectations because I wanted to love it but I wasn't overly impressed. I did enjoy the atmosphere and all of the movie posters. The burgers were average but the macaroni salad was DELICIOUS - tasted just like a family recipe. Yum. Servers were very polite and attentive. Might be tempted to go back for the macaroni salad. ;)

Understaffed I completely understand. Put our name on a list for a call even though the restaurant wasn't full on Saturday at 2:30pm. Went to the bakery down the street, came back to check on the list and were sat at a table like the list didn't exist. Were told to pick a table in a certain section but none were clean. My husband got lippy with me because I wouldn't sit until the table had been cleaned. Received a call 5 min later and told them we were already seated. Drink order wasn't right, soda was flat and we never got the extra plate we asked for when our food arrived. Burger was edible but overdone based upon the order. Restrooms were dirty and the toilet leaked every time it was flushed. Maintenance and cleanliness are not priorities here. I've been here multiple times since they've opened but I have to say I would not go back and there's no more convincing my husband who tailed along just for me.

This is just the best restaurant in Detroit. Your store manager is the greatest. Patricia is what a person who works with the public should act like. I will drive now out of my way to come here and see her. She is the BEST! Our food was delicious

Food is usually always hot and fresh. Burgers are very good and truffle tots/fries are awesooome! Check the menu pricing online before you order in store though, they might price gouge if it’s a lunch rush and you won’t even notice.

Food was amazing. Wait was over 1hr for a table and bathroom was nasty. But the Fiesta burger was soooooooo good I just hope the cooks use different bathrooms to wash up before cooking that delicious burger. Mark, Donnie or Paul... have someone clean that bathroom but don't change that burger recipe.

First time at Wahlburgers. I had the BBQ bacon burger and my girlfriend had the Fiesta burger so I got to try both and they were both solid. The fries were great too, like McDonald's fries but better. What made me write this review though was our server. He was the only server working yesterday and service was understandably slow and I noticed more than one group walk out early, but our server was excellent and did the best he reasonably could under the circumstances. Very friendly too. It's disappointing how intolerant and rude customers can be with the ongoing staffing crisis. I wish I took down our servers name because he was absolutely exceptional. That guy deserves a raise!

My dad and I visited Detroit and decided to stop by Wahlbergers and we’re not disappointed whatsoever! The wait was short, the servers and staff were kind, and the cook was working extremely hard and made some A+ food. Next time I stop by Detroit I’ll most definitely be visiting again. 5 stars.
