I really loved the unique variety of sliders this restaurant offers. The vibe is pretty cool too. I’d recommend 3-4 sliders per person. The big reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I felt they didn’t put enough seasoning and spices on the sliders for them to stand out much from one another. You should definitely check out this place at least once!

I heard about the concept of a menu made up of mainly sliders and had to check this place out. The theming of the restaurant is based around horse racing stables. It's very warm and inviting once you're inside. My order consisted of the Hot Brown, Lansing Hot Chicken, Mystery Meat which was a black bean southwest slider, and the Korean Slider. I highly recommend the Korean even tho it sounds weird to have beef, kimchi, and peanut butter together. The flavor was actually really nice and surprising! Definitely my favorite out of the 4. The Hot Brown was my least favorite as the only thing really good about this slider was the Mornay sauce. I would recommend getting something else and foregoing that particular slider. The other sliders were good sliders but nothing to write home about. We got a wedge salad and truffle and herb fries and both were really delicious. Since the main focus of the menu is sliders, everything runs on the small side. They are slightly bigger than a Krystal/White Castle slider. I would say 2 to 3 sliders with an appetizer is a substantial meal. But of course I would get more if you're like me and love to try new things. The cost ran me about 18 bucks for 4 sliders, 2 appetizers and a lemonade. Not a bad value at all! Green Dot Stables is definitely worth making a visit to and if you're just wanting something different than the norm, I highly recommend it!

My daughter took me here after a museum day. What a great place that is ‘Detroit’. Their selection of sliders made it hard to decide, we had a selection of a few. Then i had another for dessert on top of that. Loved the variety of flavors. I’ll definitely come back!

Cool little place. Waited a bit for a table on a Saturday but were able to have a drink and wait in the patio area which was nice and also enclosed. Personally the regular burger slider was overcooked but still good. I enjoyed the Philly but the fish one was the best. I didn't get a photo of the fish slider or the Mac n cheese but i loved them both! Bar service was a little slow but everyone working was friendly.

This is a must try if you are in the area! Stopped here for a quick bite to eat before the tigers game. We got right in. They have lots of different sliders to try. They have many different sides & fries. My friend got the truffle fries and I got the Cajun fries, SO good! They had Blake’s hard cider. Prices were very fair and the menu is Al la carte, so you just pick and choose what you want. Highly recommend

Came here for dinner with a bunch of friends. Place wasn't bad. Nice for a good hangout. Food was decent. Had the Philly cheese slider and venison chili cheese fries. Slider was pretty good although for the price I thought I could get more but it's still good. It did take a bit to get the food but service was still good.

Absolutely incredible sliders! I tried a little bit of everything which is the way to go when you go to green dot stables. My top choices were the cheese burger, the hot chicken, and the Cubano. Paired with some truffle fries and you got a winning recipe. Service was great too and prices were reasonable. Highly recommend but make sure you are prepared to wait if you go during a busy time.

Fun place to eat with many different sliders from pb j and bacon to fried bologna. They have mystery meat, drinks, and dessert. Everyone likes the truffle fries but I liked the pouting. Staff was great upbeat and the food was delivered fast.

Great place to visit in Detroit. Very tasty small plates. They recommend you get 3 to 4 items per person. Great salads, the clam chowder soup is tasty, burgers are delicious. You cannot go wrong with your order. Plenty of parking is available and it’s free. Always friendly staff and fast service

We ordered a wide variety of sliders and sides, and just about everything was delicious! The truffle fries and cajun fries were both great, I liked the truffle fries better. They're really thin, perfectly crisp and seasoned well. The cucumbers served with creme fraiche were very tasty, totally worth trying. As far as sliders go, I had the buffalo chicken and the grilled chicken was terrible! It was really tough, biting through it was awful. Aside from that one, the rest were awesome. I had the Cuban, Korean, BCT and Mystery Meat. The mystery meat was pork steak with zucchini slices and some kind of bourbon glaze. My favorite was the BCT, the Korean was a close second. The peanut butter on the Korean really brought it all together 🤤 We also had their mystery dessert which was a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. It wasn't very good. It almost tasted like it sat in a fridge for way too long and got stale or something.

I've only been in here once and that was a few years ago and it was a pretty good experience. The feel to this place is much more than just a burger joint. However, their sliders are the main draw. They have a huge variety of different sliders which feature many different flavors. The sliders that I ordered had a really good taste. I think that I ordered 4 of them, but I could be wrong. I will say that they could be a little less pricey. But being where they are in the city, these prices kind of make sense I guess. Parking wasn't easy either. So it might be wise to go when the city, or the nearby neighborhoods, aren't too busy. Overall, Green Dot Stables is definitely worth checking out.

Great sliders. The well drinks were a great price and 4 unique roasting beers. Justin was a great and busy bartender. Only thing that would be better is if we didn't get berated by protesters on the way in and out of the building

This is a hidden gem 💎 of Detroit! Super low key place , with a short menu of all the delicious sliders 🍔 salads 🥗 and soups 🍲 so as desserts 🍨 🤤 Highly recommend trying chicken sliders, rustic salad and clam chowder!! top notch 👌 Ambience is great - wooden tables, comfortable chairs. The service was fast and waiters were nice and friendly, suggesting all the best food to try when we asked. Everything with pickles turned out to be our favorite! will be coming back!

One of Detroit's most distinctive dining options is Green Dot. As soon as you enter, the "steady" motif is clear. There are more than 20 different sliders on the food menu, along with sides, soups, and desserts. Along with other discounts, they provide a "mystery meat" each week. Most of the sliders on the menu have been tested by myself. Despite the fact that some may be uncomfortable for you, they are all worthwhile. This is a wonderful place if you're looking for a quick, inexpensive meal.

What a fun place to eat delicious food! The sliders and sides are the perfect size for trying a few of each - but I'll need to return because the 3 sliders I had were good but filling. I want to try others

This is one of the best places to eat in Detroit hands down. Affordable, delicious, great atmosphere. My favorite sliders are the Cubano, the Fried Chicken and usually whatever the mystery slider of the week is. The truffle fries are addicting. The clam chowder is great too. I prefer without sriracha though. There is always a mystery cocktail and dessert too. Just a fun place to go. Note they get busy so prepare to wait or go on off hours. Call ahead to see.

The ambience was good and the food was decent. The food sizes are really small if you are really hungry & the you might want 2-3 to feel relatively fully depending on how hungry you are ofcourse. The caterers were friendly. Wifi was not that reliable. They have a big parking lot.

This place is definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in the us. I drove 2 1/2 hours there after watching a YouTube video describing them as one of the best Detroit restaurants, and they were right. Super cheap, delicious food, and nice staff… I recommend 100% it was worth every dollar

Green Dot Stables has a very creative menu and lots of variety that can satisfy a lot of people’s tastes. Pros: good variety, sliders are creative, grungy bar vibes Cons: a little pricey for what you get, not the greatest quality, the bar environment may not be for everyone What we ordered: • Fish fry slider: nice crunch but not a ton of flavor, more batter than actual fish • Tofu banh mi slider: lots of flavor, nice toppings • Lansing fry chicken slider: nice crunch, good flavor, good ratio of ingredients • Herb & truffle fries: good flavor, a little too thin for my liking, little quantity Would I go back again? Maybe not, but if a friend wanted me to join, I would definitely go. They definitely have lots of otslider flavors that may be fun to try next time.

Great food and drink prices, a bit of a long wait, but very tasty, diverse menu. Will be back! Inside has a horse race track theme with no windows, fine for a rainy day but when the sun’s out I believe outdoor seating is available too.

My BF and I have been coming to Green Dot for about 7 years now. It has become tradition for us to stop by there every time we are in the city. The restaurant has always impressed me to the point of recommending it to everyone. The staff is friendly, the huge patio is a fun space to have a drink and wait for your table to be cleaned, and the food delightful. This past visit however was a huge disappointment. I don’t know if they switched chefs after the pandemic, but the food was nowhere near as good as it has on previous visits. The kale salad, a usual favorite of mine, was salty to the point of inedible. The Mac and cheese was the worst pasta I’ve ever had. It tasted like watered down cardboard and had no flavor and terrible texture. We had about 5 sliders each, and about half of them were actually delicious. If I wasn’t already loyal to this establishment I would never come here again. I’m hoping the kitchen reestablishes the quality of food I am used to from them. Unfortunately my friends who had never been before had a terrible experience and questioned my own tastes at recommending it. I’ll have to give it a while before I give GDS another shot.

Great place for a quick lunch. Fast service, and tasty bites. All portions are small so I like to start with 3 options and then if I'm still feeling hungry, order more.

Great place to try many dishes are they are small sliders. Teriyaki has a hint of kick, Caesar is refreshing, and need to keep the fried chicken at the end since it has syrup and it is almost like a desert. Highly recommend it.

Walk-in: This is a nice place, but MAN was it crowded. This spot is perfect for college students. We were greeted and seated and it took a moment for our food assistant to get us together. Once we finally got our order in and it arrived I will admit that it was not very appealing to the eye. But the little burgers were tasty. Overall: it's an ok spot. Something just to kick back and have a drink. - @according2teau 👽 🦄

Awesome staple in Detroits history!! As soon as u walk in u can feel the ambiance..of the race track and the history behind the restaurant. They are known for their AMAZING sliders and their mystery meat sliders!! To pair w that they also have a mystery cocktail...super cool. Cocktails weren't that strong...but for $3.95...I'm not complaining!! This is a must try at least 1 time...the truffle FF!!! 😋😋

Great spot for a quick bite. The whole menu is centered around their extensive list of sliders which are very reasonably priced. We ordered three each and a side and that was a perfect amount of food. The hot chicken was a favorite of ours, along with the BBQ bacon. The sweet potato on there seems odd, but fits in quite nicely. The Mac and cheese had a very unique flavor, but was amazing! The noodles were a shape I had not seen in Mac and cheese before. The fries were thin and delicious!

When you walk in, actually even just from outside, you think there isn't much to this place. And maybe that's part of the deal. The food is good, service is fast, and the price is absolutely right. $3-5 per slider, about 12 to choose from; and 3 types of sides i think. Simple and sweet. I've now been twice, a buddy of mine damn near made it his job this summer to visit every time he crossed in Detroit. He bought a shirt. Big fan. Good food good service good beer. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and return again!

Excellent dive with really, really cheap eats and drinks. Nothing extraordinary, but very creative and super fun. Everything is mini, including the smothered french fries, which are the best items on the food menu (in my opinion).

Great atmosphere, kid friendly ish) great from scratch sliders and small plates. $41 for two before we hit the Pistons game. I had a sour goza and my dad had the Dirty blonde

Mini sliders here are great. Can try many varieties since mini sliders are ordered individually. Favorite sliders were the Cuban and Buffalo chicken. Shoestring fries are also really good. Even tried the fluffernutter slider for dessert.

It's a popular place so expect to wait a while to get in and to get your food. We waited 45 minutes for a bunless burger (their gluten-free option). What takes so long to cook a slider?? Because it's so busy it is very loud with the people talking and the TVs on. The food was yummy and staff was friendly. The truffle fries are so amazing, you should definitely get those.

Pictures are two standard cheeseburger sliders and the mystery meat slider (squid steak and marinara). The regular sliders were fantastic, the squid slider was good, but I definitely prefer hamburgers. We also had fries as an appetizer and they were some of the best fries I've had in a long time. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was chill and laid back. The music was a touch loud for my taste but other than that everything was excellent.
