Best bar in Detroit! Great food! Great bartender (Jason) Daughter and I came here while her dad was at U of M Hospital recovering from surgery due to cancer. Week and a half later, we had to go to U of M for the update and he’s cancer free. Took him here to celebrate and the bartender remember our daughter and me. That speaks volumes!

Still showing how a real burger can be done. Excellent burgers here and some great pricing on drinks if you are out before a show. Plenty of paid parking nearby.

Amazing atmosphere! This is a must on any good crawl or for a bite before a concert at Saint Andrew's Hall. Great beer selection, solid menu offerings.

That is a Bar which I would say β€œtypical and like you know it out of the movies!” Very friendly Barmaid, good conversations, a lot of different Beers and good food (also a vegetarian Burger πŸ₯°) - thank you for that nice hour here! The visitor from Germany πŸ˜‰

Great bar! Ken & Kedo are great bartender's! 🍻 We had fun, good food, great crowd. They didn't have my size in their shirts, little disappointed 😞

Jason, Val, and all the staff that work there they really make you feel at home. It’s like cheers when you walk into the place. Everyone knows your name. The best bar by far to go to downtown. The food is always on point as well!!!

No draft beer. Walked into my FAVORITE bar in Detroit, sat down. Bartender walked up, without a hello and said "we're out of draft beer" and pointed to the beer taps. All had cups over them. I asked for her favorite recommendation, as it had been years since I was "back home." Her reply was she didn't drink, but did at least list the bottle beers. Sad, I came in for the basket special, that I've told my boyfriend about since we met, 5 years ago. On a Sunday to..... (9-4-22)

Good pub food on a slightly less frequently traversed strip. The service is excellent, the food - while simplistic - doesn't miss. It's a bit tucked away, but worth the slight excursion for one of the better burgers downtown. The space is on the smaller side but not cramped, the food is very good, and there's ample TVs to catch your favorite games of the day.

The bar tender was the only one serving both times we were in there, but they were on top of it. Absolutely amazing service and the best onion rings we've ever had. 5 star all the way around.

This is a really great place! The staff is super friendly and they have a good choice of drinks for decent prices. If we ever come back to Michigan, this is our first place to go! <3 Thx for the hospitality, thx for the beautiful shirt, and sry for emptying your PBR! 😜

Great atmosphere here in Detroit. Went to this bar before a football game. They had a courtesy shuttle to the game. We had a great time and enjoyed the people and atmosphere.

Basic downtown spot. Great to stop in for a cheap drink after a game or event. Food is not great I recommend going somewhere else if that's the focus of your trip. But they do have basic low grade bar food.

Old style bar in the tradition of neighborhood pubs, with a comfortable, weathered feel. I can't comment too much on the food, but I'm led to understand that it's typical bar fare. I did have the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was great. If you are interested in a relaxing place for a couple of drinks with friends, stop in and check it out. I think you'll like it.

What fun, even for a midday stop! Very friendly service, so much so that the bartenders recognized my dad as a frequent patron after only a couple of days. The food was great and very fulfilling for a bar.

I love the classic style of this bar. The servers here are top-notch and friendly. They are engaging and genuinely grateful to have you as a guest. That's how my group felt anyway. We now make this a quick stop whenever we are in the Downtown area. Ya know, just one of those places where we feel good about grabbing a beer before we head on to whatever else we have planned for the evening.

We found this little spot about 8 years ago when we were in Detroit for the first time. Every time we go to the D it’s a must stop. The staff is amazing and the food is as well. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Cold beer, great spirits and laid back atmosphere. They really make this Florida boy feel at home!

Stopped at the Detroiter before a concert at Ford Field. Great atmosphere and service! We took the shuttle to the show which was also a lot of fun. Will definitely hit the Detroiter again when I'm back in town for another show

Great service, and good vibes. Right around the block from St. Andrews hall. Had no issues find a parking spot that wasn't in an overpriced lot.

Great local bar. Exactly what you are looking for in a dining establishment in downtown Detroit. Solid bar staples for food. A good amount of TV for sports but not overwhelming. Friendly and responsive staff. In a great older building. The name says it all. When in Detroit, go to the Detroiter.

Visited from Toronto and had a great time. Definitely our favourite spot out of everywhere we went in Detroit last weekend. Came before the Wings game, took the free shuttle to the game, and caught it back after as well. The service was amazing. The place was packed and the two men working were on top of everything. Great tunes, great service, decent drink prices, and the food was excellent. Had the Reuben and my partner had the Philly Cheese steak. Definitely going to visit this amazing dive when we come back again!

Had a table set and with water ready for my large party of 9 people, which was awesome. Super great service, so friendly and helpful. The chili fries were great as well!

Jason and Alvin are the best! My favorite bar to go to in Detroit because of the service and atmosphere. Great drinks and food. Air conditioning could work a tad bit better, but that would be my only complaint.

We got to Detroit two hours before the Tigers game and my husband just had to go here for the flaming cheese and sausage. There was only one waitress and the cook there at the time and she handled the entire place with ease. There were a few larger groups in there at the time so we can understand that it took a bit to get our food. Overall, nice atmosphere and good food.
