The food is always tasty at this restaurant. The staff is cheery and friendly. The waitress and food server were especially delightful 😊 The Paella was served hot and perfectly seasoned. The cauliflower melted in my mouth as well as the mushrooms and cheese dish. This will always be a favorite for returned visits.

Food way overpriced and cold. Drinks were well priced and delicious. Edit: since the owner replied I will elaborate. I had the tacos. It could have been a food truck or a partner kitchen that you work with. But I ordered the food up at the bar and paid it all on my Queens tab. And yes, the tacos had a nice presentation...but were overpriced and cold. I believe it was 18 dollars for three tacos. I know this because my wife only ate half a taco and we joked that the other half was three dollars of taco and should not go to waste even if they were ice cold. Drinks were great though...hence the 3 stars.

The drinks are well made. However, the customer service is severely lacking. There is complete lack of professionalism all around, from the bouncers/ security to the bartenders. The security personal blatantly accept bribes to allow patrons to skip others in line, unfairly increasing the wait time for those who came first. The bar tenders make up ridiculous out-of-pocket rules. Especially one specific bartender, a skinny white male with a beard. This visit he told me that they stop making Long Island Ice Tea drinks after 9pm. That makes no sense. All the ingredients are there. You don’t suddenly forget how to do your job after 9. He has also declined to make lemon drop shots in the past , stating it’s just sugar and water. I didn’t know bartenders could make on-the-fly rules about their job. I will likely avoid this place from now on. It’s not worth the hassle. I rather waste my precious time in they’re long line, while others can show up and pay to skip other. Also, if I have hear another made up, out of no where policy from said bartender, I might snap.

The spot itself is beautiful, but, and this is a big but for me, they do not have a cocktail menu. Tap list is on a chalkboard, which is nice, but no cocktails listed. Take a tip; sometimes i don’t know what i want until I see a cocktail menu with 6-8 specialty drinks on it. My husband relays to me the message “they said they can make anything “. ok i ask for a rum runner. Predictably, they CAN’T make it. For cocktails, there are better places unless you know what you want AND they can make it.

always a solid experience at this bar. low key vibe and the bartenders look out. One weird, crazy street preacher dude managed to sneak in, and stood next to me at the bar. He suddenly started screaming that I'm going to hell (big surprise) and was quickly and swiftly escorted out by staff. Thanks guys.

I have never had to wait so long for food to be served in my life. Over an hour for 2 turkey club sandwiches with fries. The people that ordered ahead of me actually canceled and walked out because of the wait. The sandwich was very good. But not worth the wait. With all the other options in the city this is not worth stopping for.

I’m at Queens a ridiculous amount, it’s my favorite after work and late night spot. Drinks are reasonably priced and the patio is fabulous! Plus the bar is open until 2 am nearly every night. With that said if you’re planning on heading over Friday or Saturday night be mindful the bar can get really busy and you might have to wait a few minutes for a seat. But don’t worry the security staff does a great job keeping everything moving.

My favorite bar in the city. Great to go after work during the week and for a night out on weekends. The drinks are a good price and the patio is dope for an outside spot.

Yeah it’s nice and the setting is “cute” but the manger is not a nice or kind person!!!

The atmosphere got better and better through the night. The music was on point. The kitchen closes at 6... horrible! I had to go next door to get some chicken 🤣. The bouncers are dope, polite, and kind. Good people!

At first I was a little nervous because I don’t go out much but once I saw how the security handled everything at the door I was pleasantly surprised I felt safer I actually had a guy trying to talk to me and wouldn’t leave me alone I was almost scared to walk to my car but out of nowhere the security came I guess he noticed what was going on and made sure I got to my car safely and ask the young man to leave me alone me and my friends will be returning to this establishment more often thanks for the security and the genuine nice people and the good atmosphere.

Untrustworthy bartenders. The first lady was transparent about the cost. The second girl with the blonde dreads added gratuity without telling me... I tipped her and to my surprise after my friend checked the receipt because they felt it was too much, there was a tip included. My problem isn't tipping, its sneaking in gratuity on one person buying a small amount of liquor. I tipped double the gratuity not knowing but I think this is plain prejudiced behavior. This was my first time here and I can't even get a second round without being treated like the black guy who doesn't have tip money.

Well-priced food in a clean, comfy, diner-style bar.

Friendly bartender, smooth tunes, cold beer. Great beer and booze selection and the atmosphere is so retro cool! Did not try out the kitchen but definitely will next time. I would love to be a regular in this place!

Great spot to grab a quick drink or two after work. Nice selection, great prices. Indoor and outdoor seating allows for a great gathering of friends.

It's a mediocre bar that can be very accommodating to large groups. So for that I am a repeat customer when. I have a group of colleagues in town.

This is a friendly, casual bar downtown! They have a great patio in the summer. It is fun to come with a group of friends. The bouncers and bar tenders are very nice. Every time I have been here I have enjoyed myself. They have beers on draft and they are willing to make mixed drinks

Great spot. Very stylish. Queens had a really great atmosphere. Great music and great drinks. Friendly bartender. It was our first stop on our first night out in Detroit.

A solid bar that's a bit upscale without feeling pretentious. Good location too, with parking in the Z garage near by.

I was with a friend when I was approached by the very intoxicated owner (or at least she said she was) she was so aggressive with her approach of wanting us to join her. She asked if we ever been there & asked if we knew we had to approach the bar which we did but were contemplating on going elsewhere. She made us both so uncomfortable we never wanted to join her & it was some weird flirtatious undertone that made us both extremely uncomfortable. I told her the tables were sticky & she paid it no mind & kept hounding us when we desperately wanted to be left alone. After forcing the issue so much we finally escaped the weird banter. The owner needs to stay away from guest harassed us so bad. Avoiding that bar when I visit home inDetroit now.

It was alright, wasn't what I was expecting, security was trying too hard in front of these girls... I was sitting at a table and got up to order a drink n some ladies was at the table. I said excuse me to get my seat n he tells them they were here first as if I wasn't sitting there for almost 10 mins. He literally was right across from me... Wasn't feeling it even more after that.. it's not a horrible bar, I just wasn't feeling it

Well, queens used to be a great place to go, chill and relax. What a vibe it used to be. Now you got some guy at the door limiting the ppl inside to whoever the so called “promoter” says let in. It’s a bar!! People are gonna leave and come. The culture of Queens has changed. So many ppl complained last night about not getting in but the “doorman” let ppl climb over the gate whist a long line was still waiting outside. We all watched ppl cut and climb over and we had to wait. Why. Please change this.

We came from far away to come to a concert downtown and heard about this bar and wanted to enjoy it. We went in to sit down and didn’t know the kitchen was closed or didn’t know how the process worked. The bartender with the shaved head and the dreads with purple in the back was so rude and nasty to us for no reason. All we did was sit down and wait for service, she told the girl with the pink dreads not to serve us because we sat down without knowing we had to go to the bar first. After we sat there for 10 mins waiting for a server she then copped an attitude when we asked her how to get service and said we missed it by ten minutes. I’m just don’t understand why she didn’t say anything when we first sat down.

Probably my favorite bar Downtown. In an area that's now filled with upscale, expensive, and sometime pretentious bars, Queens has maintained it's original vibe of a down to earth, friendly, chill bar. Be sure to check it out before your dinner plans.

The atmosphere gets two of these points. The drinks and waitress were nice. They can't sell food cause they don't have a cook, they may hire you.

The had no idea they have a web site? With 5 people at the bar ...... we had a party of 4 and they couldn't make the signature drink. NOT GOING BACK. Can't wait to see what this turns into next.
