First thing to know about POP + Offworld Arcade is that it's upstairs from the Checker Bar. There's a great collection of classic arcade machines all fairly well maintained. The space is well lit during the day and I felt completely comfortable bringing my 10 year with for a mid-Sunday visit. The menu consists of pretty classic bar fare including NY style pizza by the slice as well as a few other standouts like the roasted wings. Service was incredibly friendly and we'd gladly go back anytime.

It's like heaven in ir mouth and a side order of pancakes. U will leave satisfied. I may go back tomorrow. Thanks again.

Hole in the wall style bar but is not run down. I sat at the bars and the bartenders were friendly and ready to banter. Great atmosphere decent beets on tap and not super busy. Now one of my favorite places to go to after hours.

While walking back from ice skating, I took my daughter to the arcade upstairs. What a blast from the past with a ton of old games and pinball machines. She had a great time.

The music was extremely loud for no reason, it was 4pm, they just opened! You have to pay 50 cents to play a video game now, I'm not sure why! I'm disappointed to say the least, it used to be a great place!

Great little bar with a dozen vintage arcade and a dozen pin ball machines. Some took my quarters but it was a great place to visit outside my hotel

Reviews? Never done one. Had to though. Their machines (5 of them) took our $$ and none worked. Come for the food and drinks, sure! Not for the games. Imagine OFF-WORLD messaging me to apologize?? I understand your message but WOW figure it out. Not happy

Good selection of arcade games. Good selection of alcoholic beverages. 3 out of 5 stars on service. If you don't fit into the hipster category, they treat you different than the rest. Overall cool spot. Won't be back 🤷

2 of the five machines I put money into didn't work. First the bartenders told me to try $1.50 despite the price listed on the games. When it still didn't work they made every excuse for why they couldn't refund the money, couldn't unplug the machine, and wouldn't even make out of order sign unless they had 3 or more complaints about the machine. If not for this I might've rated it 4 stars, but the vibe of "we want people to waste money in machines that don't work" was a complete mood killer. If you're going to have arcade machines, you need to give someone on site permission to make decisions about machines that aren't working. Was losing my business really worth the $3 you could've just refunded me?

Beer selection and video game/pin-ball selection are legit. The food from Checker Bar is a bonus. Highly recommend a stop in here. The serve yourself water and gender neutral restrooms are next level thinking.

Tons of old school arcade games and pinball machines. My brother and I went to a few "arcade bars" and this was the best one in ny opinion. Good beer selection, pizza is good and ready when you get hungry... plus moat of the games are just 25 cents

Pizza was delicious and great selection of beverages. Nice arcade upstairs and you can buy pizza by the slice. Stop here before a game 😊

This is the best arcade in the city of Detroit and there is nothing you can do to convince me otherwise. Make sure to get there for Sound Test night.

This is a very fun place, we got to play some cool 80's pinball games as well as some of the very latest pins from Stern. Throw in $2 pizza slices and some drinks and we're set for the night!

This place is great for date night or quality time with friends. The pizza was delicious and they had great vegan and vegetarian options. In addition to the great food, drinks, and video games, they had karaoke on Thursday night.
