Mask policies are on point here! Bartender told multiple customers to put masks over their noses, and I love it. The atmosphere here is awesome I'm honestly bummed that they seemed less busy then the bar just next door as I would much rather this bar see the traffic. The curios on the walls are fun and the atmosphere here is just fun and divey in the best way. This is definitely a place I can see myself visiting frequently. Also a smaller note the bathroom was clean so that's always a plus!

I haven't been there for many years, I want to go visit again soon. Was FANTASTIC in the past. I hope it hasn't changed much! Best selection of beers in the area back in the day, hope it's the same!

Great selection of beer in a nice little neighborhood bar. Friendly staff that will welcome you in with a smile and will serve you up your favorite cold drink of choice. Always a great time at the Tap Room whether its your first stop of the day or your last stop of the evening, you can not go wrong!

I was uncertain at first about the sketchy area. Until I realized it was on the Grosse Pointe side of the road. It's very mellow with every beer you can think of. They have a covered patio for smokers, or if you just wanna sit outside for some fresh air.

Having been by this place on several occasions, I had to stop in to find out what this place was like. On the outside, this place looks like a dive bar and a bit of a dump. On the inside though, well, it is a dive bar...but by far a dump. And it's a really cool dive bar with an excellent atmosphere and a pretty large selection of beer. This is the kind of place where you could spend a night getting drunk and have a good time. You can chill and drink and maybe meet some intriguing and odd new people and maybe become friends for the night. That includes the staff. By far one of the more fun atmosperes around. One of the bartenders seemed a bit shady, but who knows, maybe I was too drunk to know what was going on!

I love the employees. The outdoor sitting area was very inviting. Even in the snow this morning. I will be returning with friends and family.

Great bar. Tons of beer. And yes it's in a safe area.

Always great service from some of the most knowledgeable staff around. There is a printed list of in-stock beers, and some people cross them off every time they try a new one. Never actually seen a fully crossed off list, but have heard rumors of one existing, haha ! Plus they usually have peanuts by the basket, and you throw the shells on the ground !

Love this place. The ambiance and the barkeepers are top notch. Not too often do you get to go to a bar that has been in operation for 100 years. If you have a peanut allergy be aware that peanuts and shells are everywhere. Try the Whisky with a pickle back and the sausage and cheese platter.

Great dive. The bartenders are some of the best, I live for the vcr and tunes, and am excited pinball is now available!! Awesome indoor and outdoor spaces. Killer prices along with a super extensive beer and spirits selection. Dimly lit with a really awesome vibe and regulars.

Draft beer was flat and disgusting. Bartender admitted the keg was getting low. We ended up drinking a bottle of beer. Why with the name like taproom would you serve beer you know is flat?

A long time favorite with beers from around the world. My favorite beer there is from a German brewery founded in 1328. After 695 years you know they have it down to a science.

One of the bartender was very rude to me I am on a fixed income and said I was was rude to the customers not true I will never go back in that bar again and kept complaining that I was not tipping them I was going to tip the the bartender and I did not have problems with the other bartenders there just a little earful.

One of the best. Great staff, great selection and many patrons bring their dogs. Plenty of space on the patio to comply with COVID restrictions, everyone inside wore a mask.

Cool place but they have a bartender there who hates his life and expresses it through his attitude. Place could be a 4 star pushing a 5 if we weren't instantly turned off by the bartender.

Quaint place for a beer, limited food options, I go here once or twice a year, chalkboard beer menu is not well lit a little hard to read, update the owner responded and also admitted that the chalkboard was hard to read and said that improvements are in the works. Up to 4 stars
