We were presently surprised how good the coconut shrimp were. Wish there had been more! Service at the bar was friendly. The place was packed and staff was hustling.

Tap is located inside the MGM Grand Hotel. You can eat here without going into the Casino if you enter through the hotel. The food and drinks were good. The Shrimp tempura and chicken wings with the Thai sauce was delicious. Lots of TVs and a big bar area. Nice sports bar.

Excellent location @ the casino and hotel. Food was exceptionally great - tasty, warm, and flavorful. Go for the appetizers and burgers! Angela the bartender was fantastic, consistent, and always friendly. She made the evening pleasant for myself and my friends. Highly recommended to all that plays @ the casino and want a great meal as a break away from the games while watching sports too. One of the only places around the Metro Detroit area that has bread pudding as dessert here.

The restaurant is located inside mgm casino hotel so it was fairly busy I went for dinner with my husband and son we started with spinach artichoke dip which was just “ok” and kind of cold in the middle and some hot wings. My son ordered a burger and fries, I ordered Alfredo and my husband ordered the steak medium. The burger and wings were really good. I sent the Alfredo back it wasn’t very tasty and ordered fish and chips which was “ok” my husband steak came out medium rare instead of medium and was as tough as an old boot. Will not return.

TAP is a great go-to for fast and friendly service and delicious American food options in a sports bar environment. They have several large TV screens for all happening games and have a big bar area so even when it’s busy, there’s usually a spot or a short wait. I loved the monthly perch special! The batter was just right and perfectly crispy and the Rueben is flavorful with plenty of corned beef. They also offer carryout!

We had the best waitress Tiffany! We had a party of 14 and she served us all with no issues! Definitely got a great one there! And the food was delicious!

Our order was wrong. Which was not a huge deal. They made it right pretty quickly. We all had burgers. The burgers were good. We also ordered pretzel appetizer. It was ok. Detroit nachos. We're absolutely terrible. Chicken tenders were really good. Onion rings were good. Fries were good also. Server was friendly. Had about a 25 min wait on a Saturday evening.

Came in on a Friday night. Decent crowd but no wait to be seated. Sports bar type food and prices. Great service. Had the nachos which were large enough for 3-4 people and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were great. Strong drinks, reasonably priced.

When we first got there for breakfast the host told us they were short handed and it might be a little long of a wait for the food. We did not mind. We had a great server, food did not take too long and it was hot and fresh. We will definitely be back.

Great food and drinks but please don’t try to make me think the nachos was too small 2 people. Or was it my size? A factor I kept saying I’m good. I’m used to just ordering and that’s it

The loaded potato soup and cajun chicken sandwich were delicious and good value. I forgot my credit card at the table. The waitress returned it to me before I got in the elevator. She was out of breath chasing me down across the entire casino floor, even it wasn't her responsibility to do so. I truly appreciate her kindness!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, and our server Billy the Kid was just perfect! He helped us getting a gluten free option for my wife and some additional cranberry jam for the turkey that was STRONGLY appreciated :) a really joyful experience and an show of professionalism - we will for sure be back!

American sports bar fare with burgers, nachos, fries, wine and similar assortments. Nothing extraordinary, but priced right. The bartenders are great, funny and very good with service. Cocktails, drinks and the beer on tap offers good choice. The casino is right behind you so the atmosphere is bright and the din is at a level low enough for chatting.

Just not the experience we were hoping for. Visited on Monday, July 3rd about 7 pm. They were busy but not slammed. Front desk staff was very nice and we only had about a 10 minute wait. Server was quick with our drinks. Wife ordered chicken noodle soup and chicken quesadilla. I ordered Open Faced Pot Roast sandwich, which was a July special. Server came back a few minutes later to inform me they were out of it. He went to get the soup while I picked an alternate. Came back, I asked for a Rack of Baby-back Ribs. A minute later he came back because they were out of ribs! Start of the week, 4 hours until close and they were out of 2 signature menu items. I settled for their double cheeseburger. While it was a little salty, chicken soup was good overall. Hearty, with a rich broth. Quesadilla was tasty, but very greasy on the outside. Greasy to the point where the wax paper tray liner was soaked and slimy. Burger was cooked to a nice dry over done. Pretty tasteless, with some edges that were hard. Sauce provided on the side was something like a thousand island dressing with a distinctly heavy dose of mustard. Would have sent it back but we really didn’t want to sit and wait. Highlight of my meal was the crispy fries!

Good restaurant. We ate there two evenings and it was very good each time. The nachos are very tasty but a very large portion for a starter.

I ordered the Triple Threat which is Three patties, bacon, choice of cheese, pickles, tap sauce on a sesame seed bun. Comes with fries and side order of Diet Pepsi. Very good burger, filled me up. Overall about $21. Our server, Angela, very good customer service.

I loved the place, the prices and the food I had never been before but it was a special occasion on Father's Day. We took my sister's husband and we played a bit lol.

Let’s start with the hostesses, they were great, very friendly. Our waitress Ms. Ramona was very pleasant as well, BUT the food was awful, all the way down to the water and the pop! The water and the pop tasted the same, disgusting! It was so bad, that Ms. Ramona bought us the complimentary 8oz mini casino waters. I ordered a side Caesar salad, had taken a few bites to only find a dead roach 🪳😳. I originally ordered Sprite, but that wasn’t right, so then I decided to try the Coke, it tasted the exact same! The entrees that we ordered were underwhelming to say the least and many of the menu items, weren’t even available. The kitchen workers don’t communicate well with the servers because my boyfriend ordered onion rings and no tomato on his sandwich and they gave fries and still added the tomato instead of notifying her that they had run out of onion rings. Needless to say, we won’t be revisiting Tap Sports Bar during the remainder of our stay at the hotel. The Assitant Manager was very understanding of our disappointment, and took care of the tab, which was a relief, but still a major disappointment after an 8 hour drive on the highway.

I was really disappointed in the front of house service. We’ve come here multiple times before and always had a great time and great food. Today we came in and asked for a table and was quoted an hour wait, no problem, we went and gambled. Close to an hour goes by and we head back to check how much time we have left. We walk to the host stand and she continued to have a personal conversation for ten minutes while we stand there, and finally when she turns her attention to us we ask how our table is doing and she responds “well you haven’t received a text so it’s not ready” and turns back to her conversation. Just really overall disappointed.

Great service from our bartender, and pretty good food. But, my wife and I came there to watch the nfl games, and of course the one that was most important to me was frozen. All other areas in the casino had the games running just fine. We ended up going somewhere else to watch the second half, but I don't want to take away from the service and courtesy we had from our bartender.

We stopped by TAP for a nice dinner after we were at Ford Field watching the Detroit Lion's game. We had 6 in our group and thankfully we were able to find seats at the bar. The appetizers arrived pretty quickly as did the drinks. :) The menu is limited but our steaks were all prepared perfectly and enough for two ladies to share one. We will be back at the next Lion's home game.

Service was awful. Slow, slow and slow. We sat at the bar for at least 20 minutes with 3 bartenders working. We had to flag them down to get food. Food took forever as well. It was ok. Also took forever to pay the bill. Expediency is not a strong point at this place.

They often get the carry out orders wrong. But you don't know it until you get home. The cashiers are very polite and they repeat your oder back to you as they punch them in. So I know its not them. I'm not sure what happens in the kitchen in reading the orders. Once you get home you don't want to come back out for it to be corrected. The best is to dine-in. The orders are correct. The food isn't cheap in price so it's important to get the carry-out orders corect. They could use some improvements in that area.

Horrible service. Waited a hour to get sat, which we were expecting. But we weren't expecting to sit down and food take over a hour to get to our table. We watched a 9 top and 4 other smaller party tables get sat after us, get their food, and cash out all while we were waiting. Maybe the server forgot to ring it in or maybe the kitchen lost the ticket. Manager came over and told us they were working on it.. server or manager never apologized. Comped nothing and no apology. They did nothing to try and make it right. We won't be coming back here

Stopped for a bite to eat while at the casino. Very short wait. Restaurant was clean. Reuben sandwich as AMAZING! A definite must try. Very pleasant staff. We will definitely go back

Rustic, saloon like atmosphere. Nice and clean. Friendly service from the cashier, who had to be working on a sunny warm Memorial day. Beatrice was our waitress and was lovely, as well. My friend and me both enjoyed the Reuben sandwich with nicely seasoned fries 🍟, both of which were very tasty. My cheesecake dessert, was soft and creamy with light strawberry sauce on the plate!!!! Yummy 😋. Try this place and you'll leave full and happy.

The server was fantastic! The food presentation was beautiful! Paula Dean must be an associate chef as my meal had to have been soaked in four pounds of butter. The only flavor was butter. The mashed potatoes and butter were obviously powdered based. The green butter beans were fresh. The NY Strip was ordered medium but was very oddly cooked whereby the ends were perfect but the middle portion was a shade of red used for shoes by MGM in The Wizzard of Oz. So one third was eaten before biting into just flesh, of course dripping with butter.

Cajun chicken sandwich should at least be big enough to fill bun. Manager was like sorry, not sorry. I would not recommend due to attitude of management.

The staff was great. One thing is for sure, don't get a steak from a sports bar. The menu is limited like most restaurants during Covid-19 but one of my favorites was not on the menu. Bring back the fried Mac n cheese!

Nice aura but the food choices seemed limited and came to the table slightly heated. The temperature was unbearable, I ate with my coat and hat on. I wish I had a portable heater. 3 stars only because it was a nice date night place with the decorations.

Ordered a salad and a burger. Salad was nothing special until I found a long black beard hair inside, then it became a nightmare. The burger came and the bun was dried out and stale. The second I touched it, it broke into 20 pieces. The meat had zero flavor. This food is worse then any fast food I’ve ever had. 0/10 experience.

I had a Cajun chicken sandwich. Chicken was really really almost non existent. All bun. I also ordered the Chili. Great Flavor !! Very cold. I know its in a casino, but that's why I expected more. May try again, hoping for better outcome!!

I'm strictly speaking for wait time, chilli and beer. Wait time sucked....chilli was impressive and beer...well beer is beer. Really good.
