This
place
was
okay.
I
came
in
here
a
few
weeks
ago
and
the
place
seemed
a
little
neglected.
It
was
a
Saturday
evening,
yet
there
was
only
a
few
people
inside.
Their
service
is
friendly
but
very
unattentive.
They
were
all
texting
and
just
standing
around.
The
floor
was
all
tore
up
and
it
kind
of
had
sort
of
an
old
warehouse
rustic
feel,
which
I
honestly
didn't
care
for.
I
get
Detroit
is
an
old
gritty
city
and
having
a
bar
like
this
is
hipster
and
trendy,
but
this
was
a
little
overboard.
The
floor
was
beat
up
and
it
borderline
looked
like
they
were
remodeling.
The
outdoor
space
was
nice.
It
seems
like
a
good
spot
to
chill
when
there
is
entertainment
and
the
place
is
filled.
But
again,
it
was
very
unkempt.
The
palm
trees
were
all
brown
and
dying.
Supposedly
they
had
very
good
pies
back
in
the
day
but
now
they
quit
serving
them
and
that
part
of
the
bar
is
just
abandoned.
The
slushy
that
I
ordered
was
watery
and
sour.
It
didn't
have
the
best
flavor.
It
was
nice
and
strong
though.
The
only
thing
that
saves
this
place
is
its
location
and
atmosphere.
Being
right
in
midtown
helps
this
place
out
a
lot.
Any
big
event
going
on
in
the
area,
which
does
occur
often,
will
draw
people
to
this
bar.
There
are
some
dart
boards
and
a
skee-ball
game
as
well,
which
is
pretty
cool.
The
place
is
also
very
spacious.
Overall,
this
place
feels
neglected.
The
things
that
keep
this
place
afloat
are
its
location,
friendly
wait
staff
and
the
large
indoor
and
outdoor
space.
