Never a bad drink. Service is great. Sometimes a bit of a wait if busy, but always good. Sazerac is amazing. All that glitters was amazing. Can't go wrong with any of the classics.

Had a very excellent tour with Brian. It was just the two of us, which made it for a very unique event. They are in the middle of moving things, so excited to repeat this in a year or so and see everything completed. The spirits were all very good and interesting to sample. Whatever bartender was working the tasting room is obviously amazing at his work. And what I assume was the new girl, was super pleasant and helpful. We will return.

Had an old fashioned, it was good. Service was not the best, clearly under staffed and the bartender really had some complex craft cocktails to make, so we decided to just have one and leave, but we enjoyed them!

2 James creates excellent strong styles across the board; their funky and potent doctor bird banana gas I mean rum is my heart. Any cocktail arrives potent and bespoken. Great other edge of corktown distillery. You can and should buy a bottle of spirits on location. Don't forget to pay the meter til 10pm most days- meter maidz are viciou$ around here!

You know a bar menu is expertly concocted when your choice cocktail has egg white added precisely for that extra creamy texture! The servers are attentive and will help your group move from the bar to a table on busier nights :)

I had amazing birthday at this establishment with my eight friends. The drinks for fabulous and my friends love the lemon drop martini with that fabulous vodka you make 🍸thank you 😊 Shawn for treating us so well and your staff. I appreciate you so much.

Great space for cocktails. Menu changes all the time, always a nice variety that showcases the different spirits they make. The spirit quality is impressive and I would say there is probably something for everyone to try. Definitely would recommend.

Have been here a few times and everytime has been a nice experiance. The place is always clean when we come to visit and the service usually is quick, the workers are polite and it comes with its own unique style.You can also do some tastings and stuff and I believe they do tours I just never got the chance to do it. Usually when we come its just in passing for a drink or two but always well worth the stop.

This place has a chill vibe and a good place to enjoy beautiful and well crafted cocktails. The gin, bourbon, whiskey and vodka options make for great cocktails. Space is small and tight, so a large party of 5 or more I would not recommend. Staff/bartenders were great/friendly.

The bartenders were all so adorable!! The cocktails they served are top-notch at reasonable prices! However, you can't see the distillery from the bar anymore... there is a wall build up in between

Love this place. They have really great cocktail, great wide selection, and they all are super tasty. The place is clean and they have cool cleaning cards to let you where they've sabitazed or not, they have sanitizer bottles all over. The lady making the drinks was super nice and hard worker.

Very little place for a few drinks and conversation. They had a food station which looked like yummy food. Will be back. Drinks were very good.

Great space with beautiful cocktails! Enjoyed a flight at the circular bar. The bartenders were super kind. We walked to the distillery and need a bandaid for a blister and they got us a couple before leaving. They went above and beyond.

A great spot for a craft cocktail or try one of their many delicious spirits. This place is producing high quality stuff! I recommend getting 4 samples of their whiskeys and let the good times roll.

I just wanted to thank Two James. I am a recent Beaumont health retiree and never had the time to thank you for Spirit of Detroit hand sanitizer you made for us health care workers. You pulled our department infectious disease through the first year of pandemic when we could not find sanitizer anywhere nor could not order. It was months before we could order. Just in case no one ever mentioned hereos to you guys, I just want to thank you. In good health to everyone and be safe.

Had a really good time when we went here... Wasn't to busy but started to pick up as it started to get a little later as expected. They do a testing here and have a really unique set up. The staff was friendly and quick to get things taken care of. Overall great experience and for sure would go back!

EXCELLENT! Really fell for this place. Great cocktails and staff. I don't live in Detroit, but when I'm up here to visit this place will be on my must do list. Fantastic old fashion which you should try and don't be afraid to have them add some rye to it. Delicious. Highly recommended getting a flight to try several of their liquors. Looking forward to the next time I'm in Detroit.
