Great food in drinks. Both owners made sure to personally stop at every table. A very friendly neighborhood bar with good food at great prices. Both the Avocado and Mac & Cheese Gouda bites are stellar. Definitely a contender in downtown SCS

Stumbled upon this gem with my girlfriend. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and the local regulars. If you’re looking for a calm environment with great food, good laughs and amazing people then this is the place to be!!! 10/10 would highly recommend!

I absolutely love Z's Pub. It's an a unassuming, neighborhood spot where you always feel always welcome. This is one of the most comfortable spots in town. The "Z's Pub Couch" is my favorite part about this joint. Being able to come in after a long day, grab a cold beer, play a few games with friends - all while having a comfortable place to sit - makes this spot deserving of its 5 Stars. We absolutely love Z's and will continue to make it a top priority when we are in the St. Clair Shores area. We believe in their mission and will continue to support through and through.

Came here with a group of buddy’s for our NFL fantasy league draft. Service was awesome and the drinks were great! Friend of mine ordered a margarita in honor of jimmy buffets passing and said it was very well mixed. We are ALL talking about coming back up just to hangout in the future. Great location and not too busy on a Saturday night.

This is a solid bar full of great people it's clean bathrooms are solid everything about this place gives a stellar review. From a dive bar goer this is the highest class local spot I've ever been too. Great prices and great company

Great place to go for good food and good beer with good prices. The chicken pesto sandwich is delicious the onion rings are on point and the cheeseburger sliders are a must-have. UPDATE: WAS a great place to go. Haven't been here in forever thought I changed my review just noticed I didn't. Had a problem with service here, not to mention the prices going up and food quality and portions not, wasn't such a great deal anymore. Brooke had a problem keeping up with just 3 groups of people and after a couple times of that and not knowing how much longer we would have to deal with her we just quit going and now just drive a little bit further to Ireland's Pub. To be honest the regulars in this place get treated better than others and we kind of became regulars to get that, the one server we really liked that could keep up and took great care of us had a schedule change. She didn't like Brooke either...

My sister in law and I stopped in for lunch and had a very pleasant experience. The food was really good and the service was amazing. I highly recommend it. Very clean and cozy.

Fries were hard and dry, the wings were very salty. Service was terrible, our table was ignored and the waitstaff was rude. It took so long for someone to come around after we got our menus my friend never even got to order her drink.

Very limited bar food menu, which is fine. Understand where you are and expectations will be met. The new owners have done a magnificent job cleaning this place up and staffing with friendly servers. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Great food, Excellent Drinks awesome atmosphere just a small negative spot took somebody a little longer than normal to come to the table to check to see how everything, was or if you needed anything besides that everybody was awesome, quite friendly the new owners who purchased it did a great job with it hired the right people to work there I have been coming there for more then 30 years, and will be coming back for many more.

Bar food is always judged by the burger. If the burger is no good.... one just does not go back. Hands down, the best medium rare burger in SCS. Z's is my favorite haunt. Cold bottled and some craft on tap. Check it out. Good electronic jukebox, friendly bar staff, good cook, good mix of clientelle, lighting and decor pleasant, plenty of t.v.'s., great owner. Great place for lunch. Check it out.

This was our first time at Z's and it won't be the last! I have a small Hamburger group where we hit up spots in Metro Detroit to sample the food(hamburger required) and Z's may have just landed as the group favorite. Everything was great, but will echo another reviewers comment that the table could have used a bit more attention. The server was very nice, but seemed to disappear for lengthy periods of time...more check ins = more money.

Very nice on inside. Recently remodeled. Good bar menu. Not giving it a 5 cuz they don't have draft beer...yet...at least they didn't have draft when I went. They said they are going to get it though. When they do I will change my review to 5.

Love this place. Took my staff there for lunch today. It was my first time there and I was impressed. Clean, great service, good price and delicious food. Try the fried avocados. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely go back again.

Zs pub is awesome but either do karaoke right or don't do it at all... Just sayin. Don't get me wrong Neon Nights is the best karaoke company out there but if they can't do what they do best why bother?

Good service. The doors were locked at about 1245 on a Friday night. I called the phone and asked if they were open and they said the were cashing out and I said I was outside of the door and they opened up and let me come in for a beer.

Neighborhood bar, not trendy or anything special. Sometimes there's karaoke. It's usually not too busy. Just one bartender and a long, old school bar with additional tables. Drinks are not expensive, but perhaps a little pricey for the atmosphere. The cool thing about this place is...it is what you make it. Good conversation, if you help bring it. Room to bring a few friends and hang out to do your own thing without offending anyone or being offended. It's just a cool, old school bar.

Epic neighborhood bar. Wish it was in my neighborhood I live in Shelby Township. The best burger. The Jalapeno burger with a semi spicy secret sauce. Owners and bartenders are the best. Can't wait to go thier again....well that will be tomorrow. Give Z's a try you will love it!!

The owners and the bartenders are very friendly. They have redone everything on the inside and it looks great. One of the cleanest bars I have ever been to! Very happy that they have kept the picture of the original owner's St. Bernard hanging on the wall behind the bar! They have tables set up coming off of the bar so that you aren't sitting right next to others. Good way to social distance but still be able to allow people to sit up at the bar.

Attention to detail, menu and staff that went out of their way to ensure our meals were perfect! New management delivers genuine....rare to find genuine warmth, care makes for wonderful experience. EXPEXT SUCCESSFOR DECADES.

I call this marvelous restaurant often as I like the ambiance that is characterizes this place. The personel is highly loving and well trained. The service is absolutely efficient. Most important, the food they prepare is outstanding. I ate there often and I was always pleased. The rate is modest. I recommend this place to to everybody.

Nice / cozy.

Inside and outside of bar looks nothing like when previous owner had. Very nice upgrade. Very friendly bartender. Burger is good. Not worth the price of $11 for burger, fries, and ice tea. Little steep when other bars in are are running burger, drink specials for $4 less for same size of burger. My rating was strictly value based. No reflection on anything else.
