I usually don’t do reviews... but I had to let someone else know about you guys hidden gem.Jay Dee Soul Food. I stopped in on Sunday just to see what type of food was being served. I live in the area and frequent Celebrity on Sundays for dinner. So I ordered a Turkey Wing dinner with Mac and yams with a side of Greens and Cabbage. When I tell you that food was amazing in every way. Fresh, filling and affordable I got all that plus rice and cornbread for under $16. The atmosphere of the bar was at ease. Nice music and I even enjoyed a drink. Oh yes I will return!!!!

Pretty good food. Nice staff don't order a Cosmo they don't have the ingredients for it. Otherwise I will return. My amaretto sour was really good!

I went here for the first time last night for karaoke and I had a ball!!!! The people were so friendly. The DJ was super cool!!! It was an older crowd, so it was very laid back. They made everyone there feel so comfortable and they had some really good performances!!! I will definitely be going back!!!

My little sister and I were trying to get out for the night. And when I tell you we had a complete and total blast. I initially found out about this place because of their food, and when I tell you the food is ON POINT.... THE ATMOSPHERE WAS AWESOME!

First time alert!!! ((Ok! Disclaimer)) I wouldn't typically go to a spot like this, But! I've heard the Food was Great! So here we Go!! Lol it's definitely a Local neighborHOOD spot.. parking lot & security at door to place your mind at ease.. we ordered Alot of food to make the trip worth it! Lol everything is made to order the gentleman said him and his Mom are the Cooks.. post not that much time We got our (3ppl) food (wings, pork chops, Salmon Bites, spaghetti, fries) it was just OK!, some things wasn't seasoned enough, somethings were Over Seasoned.. the Drinks will KNOCK you out & needed Ice!! I couldn't finish it! But the DJ was Great! He was Jammin All night. I will be back just for the lowkey atmosphere/ people watching /laughs and Music!!

Great place for regular company. The bartender was late, so I commend the manager and owner for doin their thing to keep the business goin. Think about hirin another bartender that's unacceptable, especiallywhen thats the only one. I would definitely return for the food as Ms. Dee had them porkchops ON POINT!👉🏾

Small bar adjacent to a Subway. Pretty clean inside, and the staff was nice enough. Ordered a White Russian, but the bartender gave me her variation, and it wasn't Kahlua. Super strong though in a lil' bitty glass. Don't think I'll visit again.

I went this Saturday. Drinks were watered down, dj was horrible he played Erkyah badu Tyrone at 1035pm this was a Saturday not a Karaoke night, also played all ole school rap a couple of new songs but mostly old school rap music. Also he only played ballroom hustle songs.... I love 2hustle😥

I got there love the mirror wall that’s about it I ordered and paid for my food but didn’t get a chance to eat nor get my money back people robbed someone and ran out the back gun drawed and the security held the door down and said no one can leave people rushed him to leave felt unsafe

I Was just there Friday on the 4-15,2022 my husband got food poisoned he is still sick til this day Monday 4-18,2022 I asked the cook did they cook they chicken in the same grease as they fish he told me no. They must do my husband have a food allergy and it's shell fish and fish. So the cook lied to us. Know he can't keep anything down.

Me and my mother Went out to this bar after a day of work and decided to have a drink on Sept. 17,2022. The Dj didn’t want to play any requested songs without a tip. When he was offered a tip, it wasn’t enough for him. So he decided to cut the music off 20 mins early. Now me pretty much just getting there and only heard two songs, I had a problem, especially when the bartenders had more of an opportunity to make more money. My mother was outside talking and complaining. I was inside talking and complaining. The bar manager talked to my mother and said he would talk to him. He walked inside and said the same thing. I personally touched his shoulder’s in a flirtatious way. He said don’t push me no more. I gave him a look because I didn’t push him the first time and tried to walk away. As I was getting ready to walk away, I get a fist to my face. And a fight broke out. Then they pepper sprayed me. After the police showed up and got envolved the manager slipped out the back door and left. Can’t tell you what to do but they are fighting/ pepper spraying women and leaving the scene

Beautiful bar Tenders, friendly staff! Basket of fried chicken wings were delicious! Stella beer was ice cold and the DJ was playing a mixture of current music and Motown classics!

You need to look up, the ceiling fans had so much grease, and dirt hanging from them, lamp fixtures had so much dust on them you could cut it with a knife, wood work is a mess, I hate to see what the kitchen looks like UGH!
