The pizza was extremely good and although it was busy, the service kept up quite nicely. I enjoyed the atmosphere, nice place to watch a football game and the beer selection was better than expected. The decor was pretty cool, paid homage to local sports teams! Looking back, this was probably the best pizza I ate while on this trip and I ate more than I probably should have!

They have the best deep dish Chicago style pizza, it's pricey but delicious. Antipasto salad has lots of toppings. They also have a good beer & drink selection. Update 2020 We tried to cheese and pepperoni garlic bread. It was really good but could have been more crispy. The call ahead option is great since the deep dish pizza takes approx 45 min. We called ahead with our pizza order and we only had to wait about 20 min. for our pizza to be ready.

If you're looking for a Chicago style deep dish pizza... HERE is The place to visit! Come before the dinner rush (5;45 on a Saturday worked for my party of 4) and we had no wait for a table. If you're ordering a Deep Dish.... Expect 40-45 minutes (Like Chicago lol) for it to bake. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! Order the garlic bread with cheese to curb the hunger.... DELICIOUS! πŸ‘πŸ‘

We had a layover in Detroit for 3 hours and only available for a quick fix. We found PizzaPapalis Of Greektown on Yelp by accident. The reviews were great and we were eager to have deep dish pizza. We visited at the time for late lunch so there were not many customers. The decor is outmoded in old school style but cozy. The staff was friendly and served us really quick since we were super hungry. We had a bowl of house salad and a deep dish pizza. The food was pretty decent with reasonable price especially the pizza, delicious and memorable. The salad was not really good and the portion was small.

I’m in a new place trying something new. The pizza was great, I had the spinach trio thin crust. The pizza great, especially the crust. The crust is light with a hint of fluffy and a touch of sweet. My server suggested the wings, challenge accepted. Michigan Bourbon sauce, it starts with sweet, ends with heat. It took a couple wings for me to adapt to the flavor, overall a thumbs up.

I really enjoyed the wings at this place. I ordered a dozen wings, half buffalo, half mango habanero. The feedback I have on the wings is that I wish they had spicier options, other then that, they were big tasty wings! I also ordered the 313 Detroit style pizza! I enjoyed the pizza but it lacked sauce in comparison to the other toppings. Good first experience and nice waitress!

Great service, great food! Greek salad and house home made dressing was best I ever had! We had a small deep dish pizza crust was crispy awesomeness! Glad the restaurant at the casino was closed or we would not have found this hidden little treasure. Three πŸ‘

Ordered buffalo wings and the seafood combo pizza on tradition crust with spinach and onion. Everything was really delicious just the pizza came out a little slow. Our Uber driver recommended this place.

This may be the best pizza I've ever had. The deep dish had a great crunch and the sauce was delicious! The 313 included a great combination of ingredients with banana peppers, pepperoni and bacon. I would highly recommend either of these pies! However, we preordered our food during our wait and after being seated did not get our food for an additional 30-45 minutes.

Deep dish pizza great they need to add little bit more sauce and it's too pricey the whole menu very pricey but great quality there is a 45 minute waiting for the pizza i think so people eat from the other Appetizers until it's ready

This was my first deep dish pizza. I would not imagine pizza as such. It tastes sooooooo good. The only bad thing is that with our best effort, there is no way we could finish everything. Do keep in mind that the pizza won’t be served very quick. The nice thing is that the waitress make it very clear how long we need to wait for our pizza. That somehow made the whole waiting less annoying.

This was my first time dining in at PIzzaPapalis and I just had to take the time to post a review about it. I tried to control myself from eating more than one slice of pizza so I ordered a singular slice. My friends and I ended up eating the pizza and realized we made a mistake so we ordered a full box. The customer service was on par with the person serving us understanding and swiftly making our next order. The atmosphere of downtown detroit pairs well with a slice of pizza in your hand. The pizza came on a newspaper so that we could walk around and eat it before we ordered our full box of pizza. We ended up tearing through the box of pizza as well and every bite was worth the few lbs that added on to the scale once we left. The slices were large in portion, and we ordered regular cheese during our visit. When I am in detroit, I try to visit the shop if not I like to order through grubhub when me or my friends crave pizza. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We had a big group and got seated somewhat quickly on a busy Sunday. I like that we were able to order our food before getting seated so it came fairly quickly after a table was available for us. We were are very happy with our pizza. Delicious! And so cheesy! Our server was quick and friendly. Thanks for the good experience.
