Made a reservation for 8pm. We get there at 7:55 having to walk 3 or 4 blocks because you guys have an illegal parking lot and couldn't open it to the public.(immensely loud in the actual building so we go out to their back patio) waited until 815 to not get greeted having a reservation for 8 and 4 of the servers walked by us. Went to Omaggios instead and was greeted friendly in a matter of seconds.

Ambience was great. Staff is so friendly and warm welcoming (experienced it upstairs). Coming to food, pizzas are nice but not that great as per they charge. You will find better taste and options in pizza at oven 360 lasalle branch, not the walker one. Authentic Italian taste. For their pasta I will give 5/5, simply amazing pasta I had in entire windsor. As per food and pricing I will rate it 3/5, but if you just want to spend an great evening with friends and family on dinner, place is 5/5.

First time here today. Food was amazing. Tried the gnocchi and it’s the best I’ve ever had anywhere thus far! The atmosphere is lovely. Can’t wait to be back !

We were extremely surprised at the depth of the menu! WAY more than a pizzeria! Some of the best Italian food I've ever had, including in Italy! We went with our best Italian friends and they agreed. Do not miss out on this fabulous restaurant! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and incredible food! Large portions and wide selection!!! We will be back many times!

Delicious. We always come to this spot when we come to Canada. The upstairs is my fave! Just a nice, more intimate atmosphere. Go here for some great pizza and seafood.

Reserved specific table, called 30mins before arriving and they gave it away. Apparently my money isn't good enough, rude server whom greeted us. Young lady server was lovely who waited on my friend and I. That dude has been rude every time I have been there.

Very busy restaurant, need reservations for on time dinners, small dining area, clean, friendly stuff and great food! Almost everything we ordered are tasty, from appetizers to main dish, washroom is clean, separated function makes it cleaner in a long run, except the guests waiting in the front door makes me want to finish my meal and leave, it’s a great social place. Recommended!

Beautiful setting, and the food is fantastic! Get the mussels in white wine! Top it off with a pasta a la carbonara, wash it down with. Tropical Bourbon!! Mmmm-MMMMM!!

My mother is an almost regular at any dining patio in the Windsor-Essex area where she can relax and order something delicious, take her time without being rushed whilst enjoying the atmosphere and this is one she talks about often enough for me to catch a craving for their, what I like to call “The Golden Orbs” of deliciousness, which I have had before. I was skeptical at first as I was having it delivered, and let’s be honest certain food needs to be eaten dine in only. Simply for qualities sake, length of time courier takes to deliver etc etc. I really was craving their Cozza Vino Bianco - mussels in white wine sauce. But opted on leaving the seafood for next time I dine with mommy on the patio. So obviously I ordered the Deliciousness Orbs and the Piatto Freddo. Please note the size of the take out container and the size of the Orbs of goodness. HUGE! You will now understand the price point and how it’s well worth it, and this is under the App section of the menu. I can barely finish one as an entree, and always box up the other arancini for my son, who devours it promptly. I order Aracini in every restaurant I go to, no matter the city and I have not found a better Orb of goodness! I love all things at Vitos but in my opinion I find the app portion of the menu holds thee best things the restaurant has to offer! Definitely will be returning and highly recommend!

We came across the river from Detroit to try some Windsor style pizza, we had read a lot about it and sounded good to us. We made reservations and when we arrived they got us right in. Once inside the restaurant was very small and the tables were crowded together. We sat down and the din was very loud. We could hear the conversations of the people all around us rather than our own. We ordered a bruschetta for a starter. It was ok but nothing special. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with a marinara sauce. We heard how thin and crisp Windsor pizza was, but ours was neither and the spaghetti was ok but the sauce could have been from a jar. I will say the service was good. I am afraid we were not very impressed with our experience. We would like to try another Italian restaurant to give Windsor pizza another chance

We were visiting my daughter in Windsor and heard this place was good. It didn’t disappoint. Great food and great service. I’ll be back and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service. We’ll done keep up the good work

I almost gave this two stars but the food exceptional...... The wait staff was courteous except for one instance...... First of all when we got to the restaurant and we were shown to our table I found it a little chilly as it was near the door and there was a booth that was set into the wall they were clearing it. I had asked if my husband and I could sit there and the waiter replied that was a table for four and we were only two. I politely agreed. Not 5 minutes later they seated two women at that table not four. I was thoroughly displeased at this and sat at our table and froze all night as the door kept opening and closing and at times there was a line and people kept the door open. Vito's is a quaint little place however I'm not sure how they should try to solve the issue of it being so loud in there. It's a beautiful place for people to gather and enjoy one another's company however if you could hear the person across the table it would be fantastic. And if you could even hear the two piece ensemble they had playing it would have been better. I usually don't write bad reviews I usually write good ones but I felt this needed to be said as I felt pushed aside. I had made that reservation a week and a half in advance and actually had my pic of the time that I wanted and yet I was refused a table that I preferred.

I ordered a calzone with double sauce. It got to my house kind of cold. Maybe the driver needs to save some money for a thermal bag. AND I did not ask for spaghetti meat sauce on the side. Wouldn't it have made so much more sense to give me the same sauce that's on the calzone? Shame on your restaurant.

AMAZING DINNER for my boyfriends birthday... made a big order getting parm chicken, chicken Masala, patate pizza, salads, calamari, and red snapper. All of us were very satisfied with our dinner. Thanks again Vito's

Great Italian restaurant in Windsor. Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is upscale and cozy, it feels really comfortable even if you’re by yourself. The food is fantastic, I came for the wood oven baked pizzas and I was not disappointed. Pizza was fresh and tasty made with quality ingredients. Good choice of wines as well. Will definitely go back!

Perhaps my favourite Italian restaurant in Ontario. Very authentic and unique. You feel the rich taste of all the ingredients in the dish. Servers are buzzing ready to help. The seafood pasta is an 11/10.

First time visiting Vito’s with another couple tonight. Came highly recommended. Server was nice. Ambience is beautiful! The vibe is fun & It was a busy night! The Pesto Pizza we ordered as an app was delicious so we were really anticipating dinner. We each got a dinner dish - carbonara, gnocchi, chicken Parmesan. The dishes were tasty but all slightly over salted. The Chicken Parmesan dish was very disappointing - it was served with a thick piece of chicken & a large portion of penne pasta dressed in a meaty bolognese sauce. The chicken part was tasty but the penne pasta sauce was disgusting - very salty & had a weird strong aftertaste. We all tasted it and had the same reaction. When the server came by, the plates were all empty except for the penne pasta left over. It was mentioned to the server when she came by and she apologized and offered a replacement. It was Too late to want or ask for a replacement when the rest of the table was done with their plates. So respectfully just passed up on the offer. Left feeling dissatisfied & disappointed with the experience at Vito’s.

Food was fine once it got to our table. $72 for lunch! 2 glasses of house wine and 2 plates of pasta with a piece of bread that my dog wouldn't eat! Lunch time, hello, most people work! If you have to be somewhere don't bother. The waiter didn't take our order for 20' and the food finally came 45' later! There were two waiters for the lunch hour crowd. It's loud, the decor is a painted block wall, the tables are pub grade, yet they charge premium prices. The waiter seemed disinterested and insincere. It was terrible! There are so many more Italian restaurants to choose from why would anyone want to go here!

Consistent, reliably great Italian food; pasta, gourmet pizza, and salad. Service is always good. I've been here several times. Quint atmosphere in the dining room. They have a party room upstairs and a cute small patio in the summer (front and back).

Forget Erie st, this is the Italian food you've been waiting for! Everything is so good. I mean everything! The best brick oven pizza, hand made pasta and sauce, arancina is superior also! Friendly staff too. Best meat sauce and Alfredo I've ever had! The reason I only give 4 stars is because the restaurant is too small for a date night atmosphere. The table beside you is so close. Just needs to be spaced out more in my opinion. I love that Vito is always around, and making sure the guests are happy. Love the back patio, and ladies make sure to check out the upstairs bathroom! 🤘

Ordered pick up this evening. Pomodoro pasta didn't even have sauce on half of it, tasted really terrible. Not happy at all with this.

Went to this pizzeria on a Sunday night. The place was not too busy. The ambience was a little off, they can do better with the lighting to fix that. The place was generally clean. I ordered the lamb chops. They were delicious but lemony. A bit overpriced as well.

Nice place. Informal, large menu. Cocktales were made poorly (watered down), but our food was ok.

First visit. Group of 4 shared 2 appetizers and tried 4 different mains. Everyone loved their meals. I had the chicken marsala and it was the best I've ever had. Great service. Overall A+ experience. Would highly recommend.

Somehow, tonight was my first time trying Vito's. I had dinner with my dad and we each tried on of the Italian lagers on drought which were both very good. For an appetizer we had the Fire Roasted Pepper & Pesto Bruschetta which was **TO DIE for**. I had the Salmone pizza (smoked salmon, with asparagus, Pesto and Parmigiano) and my dad had Pasta Carbonara. They were both amazing!!!

The food and the service is always wonderful every time I have been there. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and I love watching the pizzas cooking in the wood fired oven.

The food was delicious! Would go more often if it was a tad less expensive. The waiter could have smiled and been more engaging. He seemed very serious. Not sure if my standards are too high, having worked in the hospitality industry, but it would be nice to be greeted with a smile and offered suggestions to the menu. Personalized service goes a LONG way, even if the food might be mediocre. In this case, it was the opposite.

Hands down my absolute favourite restaurant in Windsor. I don't even think my review is necessary as the restaurant is always busy ---- without sacrificing attentive service. Large portions of excellent food at affordable prices is their not-so-secret "secret" to Vito's success. You have to try their meatballs. Best ever!

Vito's is an amazing find for fine dining and bar side drinking. The ambiance is visually striking and the food is delicious. If you're in Windsor and love good food then this is a definite place to visit. The oven pizzas are their speciality. The service is excellent and they are courteous and quick. The seating is comfortable yet limited. It's in a prime location and you can find parking easily.

My husband and I were in Windsor to watch my son's University football game and wanted to eat before kickoff. I did a Google search for best places to eat in Windsor and Vito's came up, so we decided to check it out. The staff was super friendly and efficient and the food was fantastic! Vito's is definitely on my list as a preferred place to dine when we are in Windsor. P.S. I have to eat gluten-free and Vito's was easily able to accommodate.

Went to Vitos with friends. Wait staff was friendly, service was good. Food was flavourful but not really that warm when it got to the table. I had the pasta carbonara and would have preferred it to be warmer then it was. It was maybe a notch above room temp. Other then that, everything was exceptional.

Vito's has been one of Windsor's top go-to venues for food and drinks for anyone looking for good food or to socialize. My friends all choose Vito's first. I live their patio(s) in the warm weather. The space is used really well. I have been to many private events upstairs including a work holiday dinner. My favourite dish there may simply be the spaghetti bolognese and they do fried calamari well. The wood burning pizza oven always smells great and adds to the atmosphere.
