I’ve gone to this place a few times. Everytime I go the bouncers get physically violent with patrons and push them out of the bar while cussing at them. I’ve noticed that sometimes it is deserved (your typical belligerent drunks), but other times they act aggressive towards people who comply and try to leave peacfully. I’ve seen other patrons be affected in fights the bouncers get into. I’ve even seen them get physical with women. I would never go back to this place again.

The drinks were priced decently and the drink menu was extensive which I love having options to choose from. The food was GOOD! The music and service was nice as well. I have no complaints. Will be returning when I’m back in the area.

Ordered nachos with beef and was brought nachos with chicken . I was told that they were out of beef ! Why wouldn't you tell me that before you made them ? So now I have to wait for them to make something else . Also caught my pant leg on a Sharp piece of metal from the chair I was sitting in . Tore a hole in my pants . Almost sliced my hand open when I felt it . Not a good experience at all .

Bouncer at the door was extremely rude, our friend realized she had forgotten her ID and I understand that we couldn’t be let in but he didn’t have to continue making comments to her on our way out to get her ID Edit; once again we had no issue that she couldn’t be let in, only had an issue that the man at the door made rude comments to her on the way out the door. It’s not hard at all to be respectful when we were all respectful about the situation.

Young women between 18-23 be mindful. Can't speak for everyone there. But they have predatory staff there that will use the excuse of you be "legal age " to proposition you with money or anything else .

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had, all the appetizers were cold and they messed up the wing order and when we said something they said my bad and did not fix it. Will not be coming back to this place for the food. Atmosphere was nice though.

Came here to pregame before going to an escape room and well the service left ALOT to be desired. My sister and I walked in and kinda stood there for a second. None of the staff greeted us, shouted to us to seat ourselves, or that they would be right with us, so we just decided after a minute to seat ourselves at a table by the door. After about 10 to 15 minutes a friendly gentleman came to take our drink orders. The rest of our party came about 10 minutes later and he brought our drinks and took their drink orders and some app orders. He brought out their drinks and then nothing. While sitting there we saw two older ladies come in, they were greeted by the wait staff and someone came right over and took their orders. While we were sitting there they got their drinks and apps and we still never received our appetizers. Our server was going to tables all around us and after an hour, we needed to go so I had to get up and find our server to get our drink bill and cancel our app orders. I don't want to make assumptions but we did not feel welcome and we won't be back.

I was there this past weekend for a co-workers party and was furious about the way the staff treated other members and friends of my group who had a different skin color than I did. The bartenders wouldn't serve them as easily or well as they did for the patrons who looked more like me. One of the wait staff went as far as to say the patio was full when my friend and her husband arrived and attempted to join our group. The entire situation is inexcusable and you're staff needs to take tolerance and respect lessons. It's 2022 in Royal Oak and this kind of behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! I PROMISE YOU I will be telling everyone about this and how our friends/co-workers were treated.

Came here a total of 3 times for different invites and each time the drinks have been nasty. Decent drink prices, music is fine and crowd is cool. Maybe it would be fine if you drink beers. I also bartend and these drinks were just not it!! I had to return some Drinks but server was nice about it and she had good customer service. I still tipped, just couldn’t drink the drinks.

Some guy spilt his drink all over me so I smelled like straight booze and vinegar, but the waitress Julia gave me perfume<3 she deserves a raise.

THE FOOD WAS BOMB! I peeked in the back and saw who was back there in that kitchen!!!!!!! It made sense. The food was a 10/10. I got fish/chips. I give the bar 0stars. The bartender didn't even look our way as we stood there at the bar for about 2 minutes before I noticed a server walk past and got her attention. That bothered me but I realized she didn't want to move away from the high tipping white men she was planted in front of. I'm not excusing her behavior at all though. I was very hungry so I said whatever and kept it pushing. The fish and chips was the best food I had in Michigan for that short period of time that I was there. Servers were attentive and during the snowstorm, the food alone, made my night out worthwhile!

Loco chico was a blast! But the bar was understaffed. I felt bad for the bartenders.

Good drinks and sometimes a good draft selection. Depends on the night for it to be lively.

The wings were good and the atmosphere was chill. Great vibe for a Lions game night. One downfall, the audio was just loud, shockingly loud.

Ate outdoors under the tent at O'Toole's. Our waitress, who had only been there for a month, was stellar to our table of 9 people. Meat pizza was covered with meat, delicious and will be several meals it is so large.

I’ve never been the one to make a review but I was in town over the holidays and decided to last minute go here with my fiancé and being as busy as it was , we had Zachery as a server and I forgot to mention the night of to the manager how great he made our experience and it just came up in conversation that overall he got an A+. From the professionalism, to the hustle, and making sure we always had our drinks. When we’re back in town, we will definitely be back!

I went here for the first time August of this year. I was fine up until I took a shot from one of the shot girls right before we left. Apparently, right after that, I just dropped. No warning or anything. I'm glad I didn't drive and had friends there to carry me to the car. I have never been like that before and I really didn't know what to think. I should have went to the hospital for a toxicology report but hindsight is 20/20. Today, I was talking to a coworker who was describing a similar experience from this weekend. I asked her where she went and it was this place! This can't be a coincidence. Something has to be in those shots! If anyone else has experienced this, report it!

Great place to go watch a game and grab a beer! The food was just okay. The pizza was medicore at best. It was severly lacking in cheese. Would not recommend the pizza.

Pretty nice pub with irish style flavour, awesome food which is very delicious for a favorable price, cold beer with friendly staff. Nice people met here, located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak. In summer time the front is complete open so you have a nice view to watch the people passing on the street. Always my favourite place for relaxing and hanging around when in Royal Oak. Love it...

Never thought to revisit this place after a door man and manager instituted a ridiculous dress code. My slacks had a cameo print and even though it was paired with a sweater and loafers, I somehow didn’t fit?!

Very disappointing experience! We weren’t greeted by anyone when we arrived. We assumed we just had to seat ourselves which we did. There were staff members smoking right outside the front door. The menus and the silverware were dirty! The margaritas were awful. It had a very unwelcoming feeling. We should have just left. Needless to say we won’t be back!

This place has cops on speed dial. Don’t drink and voice your inalienable rights! The oppressors don’t like that! Even if you spend over $100 they won’t care. Alexis is cool, everyone else is a brown nose!

An odd place which brands itself as an Irish pub but is anything but. When I went here with my buddies they on club music so loud you couldn't hear yet curiously no dance floor. This combated the décor which was that of a pub. This is a theme bar which seems like it doesn't know what it wants to be. Drinks were average priced.

Always fun vibes here- It was so great to come back for the first time since early 2020! They have a great mix of music every time and I love the test tube shots and the speciality cocktails, especially the peachy screw and the gummy bear drink. Definitely get in by 9 if you want a table, it gets crazy busy here, even more so than it used to a few years ago!

I gave this four stars but only because I'm 42 to and I went on a Saturday night and felt so out of place because of all the awesome young ppl cutting loose. Bit the service was great and staff was so nice. So of your young and looking to chop it up check this place out.

Went here for a late night meal after a long day of flying. Asked the bouncer if the kitchen was still open, which he said yes. Once seated, the waitress took my drink order and then told me the kitchen was closed. Folks seated around me were getting food still. My tab for 1 single Maker's on the rocks was $9.25. This was my first and last time ever going here.

Went there last night for the brawl crawl, I was completely sober when we got there. Our group split up to get a table and a drink. The security guard pushes my friend off the chair and got in our faces saying this is our house. Will never go again and also will be calling corporate, sincerely another bar manager. Do better!

Came here during the Halloween bar crawl. My friend and I ordered drinks from the specials menu thinking the ones we picked were actually flavored drinks (one was supposed to be strawberry banana?) and they ended up being regular tasting beers. Decent size beers, but not what we were expecting.
