Absolutely delicious. Best broth around. Got the spicy pork udon, subbed it for pork belly and added trumpet mushrooms. It was so wonderful. Will definitely be back! Our server was very friendly too. (Sorry can’t remember her name) the edamame had an incredible seasoning to it too.

I love the layout! Lots of outdoor space! I got the boombap which is a play on Korean Bibimbap which I eat pretty often. It was delicious! It had pickled radish and cucumber. The bowl was a bit small for stirring though. Best of all, it was super yummy heated up for leftovers too!

Great location. Walked straight in and was seated with a party of three. I’m new to this and our waitress was extremely helpful. She made several recommendations and they were all outstanding. The outdoor (heated) patio was a little chilly but when you start eating the spicy noodles, you warm right up. Our food had such a beautiful presentation. Will be returning again.

This was my first time at ima and I was thrilled all around with everything about this place. The food was excellent the atmosphere and staff excellent. I can't wait to go back and try another of their thoughtfully prepared dishes.

So good I went to both locations. I actually liked this place better overall vibe and food. I had the Golden Curry with the plum wine. Chefs kiss.

COVID/ SEATING- looks like outdoor only. There is plenty of covered outdoor. However, not all the seats will have wall covering so if it rains and you are on the outer most seat, you will get wet. FOOD- this is my third time here and I regret it every time. I only came here as my third time because my friend wanted to. He got the kimchi seafood udon which I had a little mini bowl sample serving of from him and vegan pho. They forgot the kimchi topping in the udon so we had to ask for the separately. The kimchi is soured kimchi which I like but it had a soap/ fragrance flavour in the end. The udon itself tasted really weird. I’ve never had anything like it before- in a bad way. It was taking too many things and combing the flavours. Weird. This is my third vegan pho from three different places and this one comes last place. My biggest complaints: 1) didn’t have much flavour, 2) it was too sweet. Why does it need to be sweet?! Lastly, 3) it didn’t come hot. It came lukewarm. I have never had pho come to the table lukewarm. SERVICE- little slow.

Always delicious food, the golden curry is my summer favorite. In the colder months any of the Pho ‘s 🍲 are absolutely mouth watering! Casual Dinning, great friendly atmosphere. Table and communal bench seating within a tented area, stays fairly warm in the winter. Neat place to check out with friends and family!🌟

Cool place, decent food. Wish I had better to say about the customer service. Called to make a reservation and was told to "do it online", so I did. Reserved indoor seating, but when arriving was sat outside 20 minutes late to our reservation. When questioning the seating location the host went the extra mile to say we, the customers, were incorrect and that this was what we reserved. Once showing the reservation of indoor seating they proceeded to laugh in our face and say, "well sorry". Waiters were nice but proceeded to seem unaware of where anything was going, we were given the wrong food about five times! Would not go back due to the rudeness of those working there!

(Visited on 4/3/22) - Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steamed Edamame: flavorful, enough to share among 5-8 ppl 2. Spicy Pork Udon (pic#1) 3. Seafood Kimchi Udon (pic#2) *Udons were good but could’ve been even better if the broth/soup was warmer… - Staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ *note: they are not pet-friendly, even for outdoor seating area.

I really love Japanese udon and ramen, so I decided to give this place a try when I was around the area. I ordered edamame, shrimp dumplings, and Tori udon. Edamame was good and the sauce was aromatic with sesame oil. I feel that the shrimp and scallions dumplings portion was too small (only came with 5 dumplings), not worth it IMO. Tori udon was interesting. The chicken meat seems to be breast meat that has slight smoky flavor. It was pretty dry. Almost felt like I was eating deli meat. Not a fan. But I did like the rest of the ingredients in the udon.

Great spicy pork upon. If you are like me who loves udon and homemade spicy broth, you can't get better. The spicy was mild but compliments the tender pork well. Really, it doesn't need the sliced pork. Those who love the D will appreciate the pic! Yes Corktown and Ford!!!!

I’d eat here every week if I lived in Detroit. The evening was cold and my udon bowl hit the spot directly. Delicious broth, chicken cooked perfectly. Wish I’d had two stomachs so I could’ve tried the BBQ tofu burger and a hot house sake. Then, the servers were cool, seating was easy and comfortable (and outdoors if you want), and they had a solid Spotify playlist going. Big fan, highly recommend.

I've been wanting to come here for awhile, and finally made it in yesterday! The food was super satisfying. It was quiet and not busy at all! I went in looked at the menu, the lady at the counter politely offered menu assistance, which I ended up not using. The tables are already situated with self-serve water pitchers, chop sticks, napkins, sesame seeds, and soy sauce. I ordered the House Smoked Salmon (salmon fillet, salmon roe, cucumber, slaw, shiso, dried seaweed, green onion, & pickled ginger all on top of white rice with yuzu sesame sauce on the side) and the Beef Pho (vegan pho broth, rice noodles, ginger beef broth, bean sprout, white onion, Thai basil, jalapeno, lime, schmaltz). Ginger Beer for the drink! The House Smoke Salmon was interesting! IN A GOOD WAY!! It was my first time eating fish eggs, and it surprisingly did not disappoint. The slaw tasted as if it had been soaked in vinegar, and paired really well with the rice, salmon, green onion, and seaweed. It tasted even more enthusing when I added the broth from the Beef Pho to it! The Beef Pho was quite a unique dish! Very aromatic indeed!! The beef had a slighty sweet floral undertone, and caused a taste bud explosion when eaten with what I presume to be bok choi (or some food relative of it) and rice noodles. Although I'm not a fan of black licorice, which is what the "bok choi" tasted like, it amazingly tasted good with when mixed with the rest of the ingredients. When I first tasted the licorice my taste buds wanted to be angry, but the taste flowed into the medley of the other flavors....Impressive. I will be back to try other menu items. 👍🏼👍🏼

I am a very picky eater, but decided one day that I wanted to find new food. I picked this place, I think with the help of Eater detroit, and I am glad I did, i always had the curry, but the people i went with had other food and always loved it. I eat here few times before the pandemic and once after, it not close to where I lived. The "outside" eating area was my favorite. I hope everyone enjoys them when they reopen
