The Eastern Market Brewing Co. is a great place to stop for a bit of refreshment on a hot day. We tried an IPA and the Same Old Lager and really enjoyed them both. The brewery looks great and the staff are friendly. Also nice place to stop after a trip to the Eastern Market. Recommended!

Came here to pick up paczki beer this year and got to try them on tap first. It's a really great, little spot downtown for drinks. One of the paczki beers was a bit thicker like a slushy at the time but our cans weren't like that at all.

Always excellent! The outside seating is great, kids, dogs, whatever. Depending on the day, the DJ at the distillery on the next block is little much. BUT, the beer selection here is one of the best in the state, Elephant Juice turned me on to craft beer and still ranks as my favorite!

Atmosphere is inviting, marketing and design is beautiful, but beer selection is sub par. I've been in multiple times, giving the business a few chances, but out of the 10+ beers I have tried, only two have been okay, not even great. Some have tasted sweet, like they hadn't fully fermented, while others seemed watery. It seems as if the beer is rushed or brewed by amateurs. I was excited to have a brewery close to my home in Eastern Market, but I'll just have to keep driving across town to Porter St.for a good beer.

Really enjoyed grabbing a beer here. They don’t serve food but definitely feel free to bring some in. The nice, cold beers are refreshing and they have non-alcoholic options as well. Also, the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend and would come here again!

The perfect brewery to spend many hours hanging out, especially when they have $3 select beers for the night (!). Pro tip, make sure to bring some pizza over from Supino.

Great beer, bartenders, and ambiance! Bartenders were super chill and friendly. We got a flight, which on this particular Saturday night was 3 half pours for a little less than $12. We got the Raspberry Gose Sour, Mint Watermelon Gose Sour, and White Coffee Stout. Highly recommend the Raspberry Gose if you like sours! The other two were good. We sampled the Coconut Ube Blonde. Interesting flavor (you could really smell the ube and the head was purple!) but I don’t think I could drink a whole pint of it. They have board games and cards available to play. We sat on the outdoor patio where there was a really nice breeze that night. Crowd there has a good vibe. Overall, great place to chill and would definitely return!

We came for the Sunday Eastern Market thing and forgot there was a Lions game. The entire area was jam-packed and simply awesome. This brewery had an atmosphere that welcomed us in and the beers were fantastic. The bartender was very helpful and chatted with us often, answering any question we threw at him. This will be our spot every time we hit up the market.

Location layout is great- the Imperial Stout-black excellence @10.5%abv- Great chocolate &coffee on the nose and taste- great mouthfeel- awesome base to barrel age with Local barrels and beyond. I HATE low abv stouts- love the base of this juan. The kolsh? Wonderboi was pretty tasty as well. Live dj- open bench seating/airy and huge seating area outside w food trucks and even field sports to play around with outside. Worth the stop and support as a local

Great place to grab some tasty beers. All the styles we had were delicious. Dog friendly. There are tons of places nearby to grab something to eat too.

A great spot to visit while checking out Eastern Market. The beers are good and the employees are friendly. There's plenty of seating and the seats/tables are comfortable.

I've never had a bad beer here. Excellent service. Open layout, patio/outdoor seating, high ceilings, appropriate volume for music for an old 30 year old like myself. Very casual and laid back. Easily my favorite bar in Detroit.

Such cool spot and one of the few open at this time of day/week. Selection of craft beers and very knowledgeable staff. The honey beer is made from the bee hive on their roof!

Good place with a casual vibe. Liked the open walls and outdoor seating in the warmer weather. Blood Orange Radler was a nice, summer's day kind of beer.

Tried all their beers and they were good! Brought over Jose’s Tacos from the other side of the block and enjoyed the food and the beer in the nice alley picnic bench area. Definitely a spot not to be missed in Eastern Market! Great street art all around and many other friendly patrons. Dog and kid friendly!

Two words: Raspberry. Gose. So tart, refreshing, and delicious. The live music wasn’t really to my taste, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless. There are also cornhole boards! Perfect for a summer afternoon

Visited this brewery for the first time last night. Beer was delicious. Taproom had a great vibe. But most importantly the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Daniel was especially awesome, took the time to chat with me about their beer. Definitely going back!

Great place to hang out, especially when the weather is nice and all the outdoor seating is set up. They close the road in front of the brewery and put lots of tables and chairs out for people. Very cool popular spot to grab a drink in Eastern Market. The elephant juice is their signature beer, an IPA, and it's quite juicy.

Service is great. Beer deelish. Unfortunately Google maps shows open until 10pm but under restaurant. I intentionally walked her to have dinner at 8:30 as all other places closed at 9. Needless to say- I have no dinner. Only beer. πŸ€ͺπŸ˜€
