Really unique place. Love the setup and style of this place and the restaurants setup in it. Tried the Thai place in there. Had the fried chicken rice bowl from it and was really amazing. Definitely a must place to try. Free parking is available at the side of the restaurant.

Wonderful place with an enjoyable ambiance! The place was very clean with heated indoors and an accessible bathroom. Good variety of food and beer and freshly churned ice-cream on the upper floor

This was such a unique dining experience in Detroit! My husband and out friends decided to walk here from our hotel, the Renaissance Centre, after reading the great reviews online. It's a bit of a walk from there, and you will pass through a bit of a sketchy block or two, but it is definitely worth it! It is set up almost like an outdoor market, with a number of unique small food vendors and a central beer garden. There are lots of tables and seating options Ll around both inside (upstairs & downstairs) as well as outside. I tried the B96 curry with chicken and coconut rice from Bangkok 96 street food. It was definitely one of the most unique curries I have ever had! The sauce was light, creamy and perfectly spiced. There was a very generous portion of two perfectly cooked chicken breasts on top. The rice was also perfectly cooked with a delicate coconut flavour, and it was served in a cute little takeout-style box on the side. My husband tried the jerk chicken wings and Caribbean fries from Coop Caribbean Fusion. Both had an outstanding flavour! The wings were nice and spicy, with a perfect amount of sauce; the fries were perfectly crispy with a delicious creamy and flavourful sauce on top. The portions were so generous he could not finish both dishes. To wash it all down, a large assortment of local beers are offered on tap at the beer garden for a fairly reasonable price. All in all, it was a great experience and a perfect way to try out many different local food vendors in Detroit.

You come here mainly for the atmosphere. Food is not bad but you can get much better asian and Arabic food outside. Depends on what day, sometimes there are small performance inside the building. Unfortunately are homeless people harassing you outside of the entrance and parking lot, and the parking security is not going to do anything besides taking parking fee. Kinda funny to see people get scare away on the street but also sad at the same time.

Well this place is like a hub of different kinda restaurants. They have multiple outlets to choose from. I have tried the Steamed dumplings/momos from β€œMomo Cha” which I found the most tasty momo I have had so far in Michigan. I had also tried few dishes like Pad thai role and grilled salmon and shrimp bowl with rice from β€œBangkok 96 Street Food”, which really amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you are a foodie.

We hosted an engagement party at the DSC and it was fantastic!! The venue is really cool with great energy. We were in the beer garden with approximately 100 guests. We were fortunate with beautiful weather yet the garden was shaded before dark. There are big fun umbrellas on each table if the sun was an issue. Our event manager, Jessica, was wonderful in helping us coordinate all the details. She suggested the best choices from the food vendors and all the food was delicious! We had so many positive comments about all the food. Jessica responded quickly to all our questions and requests and helped us set up the day of the party. She made it very easy for us to host our party and enjoy our guests. Everyone loved the vibe; the background music, our private bar with great servers, the string lights and the corn hole game was a hit! It was even fun to see onlookers from the balcony. This is a great venue and cheers to the DSC crew for all their hard work.

Perfect place for a chill night with good vibes. Something for everyone. Yummy dish choice that packed full flavor and wanting more. With a one man band singing and playing his guitar just added to the chill night we were looking for after a long day of volleyball tournaments. Best Crab Cheese Wontons!! And juicy burger and shrimp were huge!! Everything we ordered was on point and scrumptious

This place was super fun. When you think you've seen all of Detroit Shipping, think again! LoL there is another segment. We will be back k with friends. Didnt get a chance to eat there but, we checked it out. There are couple of bars. Plenty of open space, seating, enclose outside sand volleyball court! Great place for a date!

Cool place. First time going. Great outdoor space and upstairs space. Not to many places to eat. Bangkok 96 food was not the greatest. Also has a bar in it.. Giving it a 5 start rate only because it was cool place and had a nice vibe.

Great twist to a trend on over priced food courts. The building is ostensibly made up of shipping containers. The top glory had a nice coffee shop. About 6 choices of food vendors on the first floor. I liked the Caribbean food the best. The place is clean and safe. The sqft could be larger.

Had a great time here! Nice vibe, lot of outdoor seating (dog friendly ;) Quick service and can choose from different cuisines/restaurants. Had fried momos with coriander chutney and fries chaat. Both were pretty tasty and great portion and quality taste for the price. Only negative is that few sketchy people around asking for handouts

Such a neat place! There are different food options inside which is nice and they have a full liquor bar as well. We sat outside because it was a nice day and they have outside activities, too, such as cornhole. I recommend if you just want to grab a drink somewhere and relax for a bit 😊

Perfect place to hang out with friends and family! I brought my kids here once, and it was hard to leave the place as there are so many food options (and ice cream place, of course) There is free parking on the street and some section of the parking lot. It's cheap to reasonably mid price for food

My family and I loved the food and atmosphere. There's so many different foods to try. Thai food, Nepalese, Mediterranean, Caribbean, and American. Go with a group and try a little bit of everything!

What a great and interesting place completely built from metal storage containers! Lots of selection to eat or just go for drinks or if the Cafe thing is more of your style it's there too! Several different restaurants to choose from , bugurs to gourmet food options Art displays, big screen to watch the games or news. I was just amazed with the concept, I had a metro burger (fresh made to order) with hand cut fries... I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere! Located 2 blocks from the Masonic Temple a great for a per show casual dinner and drinks!

Service starting at the door βœ… Tasty Food βœ… normally I'd list good things... Our table of 6 had some many different things that everyone was pleased with I'd probably do better telling you what we didn't have... But I believe it's all solid.

We were able to get some nice beers and sit outside with our dog (yes, dog friendly) and get some tasty treats from the Tibetan and Thai places. There are also three other places to get food, but we were full. Great vibe and excellent service.

Cool food places and a nice selection. Great if you enjoy feeling like you're back in high school, eating with 50+ people you don't know, sitting next to them at the same sorta picnic tables. Probably wouldn't eat my food there again, it felt awkward. High noon was $9 a can?! Who do they think they are?

We play in a volleyball league here and it's always a great time. Super fun environment, lots of cool food options (a little overpriced), but definitely worth stopping by.

The place is made of shipping containers and hence the name. It provides a lot food options - Nepali, American, Mediterranean, Caribbean cuisine with a couple of bar counters. We had steamed Momos - they were great to taste, I just missed the hot sauce/ schezwan sauce on side. 4 stars for it. French fries chaat was great! Tasted just like regular Indian chaat! 5 stars for that. Halal Streets - the food was ok. We had a NY style falafel bowl. 2 stars for this.

Great venue for local artists and comedians as well as an excellent place to try new foods. I have never gotten something I didn't like from any of the vendors and have managed to try some delicious new foods such as from the Nepalese restaurant that I have never had before!

Awesome spot for trying multiple cuisines from the food court, grabbing some drinks, and enjoying a great atmosphere! There is a wide variety of seating areas indoors and outdoors. The manager was so friendly and welcoming to us and we loved all the food we tried. Good vibes all around here, can’t wait to come back!

It’s a great and interesting place to hang out with friends. The concept is great and there is a good vibe. This place would have been more interesting if it would have been bigger to welcome more fast food stands with more varieties. I would like to see one in my hometown Miami !
