Honestly best Mexican restaurant in Mexican town. The food is consistently good and the drinks are really good as well. The service has been top notch even though it was busy the last couple times I have been in.

Just celebrated my moms birthday on Friday. Sorry, didn’t catch his name, wish I did because server was impeccable!! Family favorite! My family and I love coming together to celebrate special moments at Los Galanes. The food and service always exceeds our expectations.

Their chips and salsa was a nice start. Then had a few well made drinks... Went here one other time and both visits had good food and service. Love me some good Mexican food and for sure would recommend you checking this place out if you are around.

Food is pretty good, but service was not the best. Our waiters took our order brought our food then left for the day I guess. No one checked on us. I flagged another waiter down, he figured out what was going on, and handed us off to another waitress. So our 2nd and 3rd server was great, the first one was terrible. I hope on the next visit this restaurant has it service together.

The atmosphere is Fabulous and Amazing. The food is Delicious and Tasty. The wait staff are Awesome and Sensational. And u wont find real Mexican food in Michigan except in Mexicantown Michigan. Cuz I am from the border of Mexico and Texas border. I was up here in Michigan for work in Disaster Relief Work. Highly recommend

Finally made it down here, one of wife's favorite spots in Mexicantown (and my sister's too). The tacos I had were great, I went with pastor, it was well seasoned, juicy and delicous. The corn tortillas were very fresh, and the salsa was excellent. One thing a little different, is that the onions that come on the tacos are cooked, which I liked, but its a good thing to know if you aren't expecting that. We also got the queso, it was quite flavorful, was super cheesy, and had a good amount of mexican sausage and peppers. The drinks we had were good (a bit on the sweet side). All in all I had a great time, the pastor tacos were my favorite part. I definitely will go here again!

The food and service was great! They give you a generous amount also. I had a Miami vice 🍹 and the Chimichanga (chicken). Delicious 🤤. I can’t wait to go back

The horchata was so real and so good. When we initially walked up, it was a 40 minute wait but we were actually seated within 15 minutes. The tortilla soup was my favorite, I definitely enjoyed everything and our server was great too. He was very nice and efficient and anticipated things we needed.

Fun Mexican restaurant in Mexican town. Great chips and salsa, I really liked the wet burrito, but tried my wife's tacos and they were good too. We came in for an early dinner around 5 and were able to be seated right away which was a nice plus. The waiter was attentive and refilled our drinks and chips promptly. This restaurant is in a dense area of Mexican town so you can easily walk to some other locations nearby.

My very first visit was awesome. Wonderful clean environment, safe secure parking, and comfortable air conditioning. The wet burrito was amazing. Terrific guacamole and refried beans. I really loved the cocktails with coconut cream and Bailey's. Fantastic bartender. Reasonable prices and friendly service. I'm looking forward to returning very soon for more cream cocktails and to try the hard shell tacos.

Beautiful restaurant, I had chimichangas and margaritas after work with my friend. I loved everything about this place, I always would see it as I passed the Ambassador bridge. So happy to be able to try it and be so pleased!

Amazing food, wonderful customer service, and clean bathrooms. We were provided with a highchair for our little one as well as on the house chips and salsa. Would recommend the strawberry slush margarita and Steak Ranchero. Keep up the amazing service.

Los Galanes is my favorite Mexican spot! They never disappoint. My mom & I eat here often. I’m a big fan of the soft beef tacos & strawberry margaritas. Friendly staff!

This place had some really good drinks. The food was good but not out of this world. I would go back again and try different entrees for sure! It was very smokey in the restaurant and no music. Just not much air circulation.

I really liked this spot! I got the chicken tacos and my girlfriend got the tortilla soup, and I kept stealing bites of her soup it was so good. I also had the raspberry margarita and I’m sure it’s great for tequila lovers (which I’m not).

I had the taco dinner. They give you 2 tacos with beans and rice. The tacos were okay, beans and rice was not bad. But the sitting outside was very nice. Overall the service was pretty quick. Not very talkative. Not saying the food was bad but it wasn't good either.

Place was mid. They have a long wait and the food was not that flavorful to me compared to other places In Mexicantown. They have a cool system where they text you when your table is ready. However, I replied to the message 3 minutes after receiving it and arrived 5 minutes after and the young girl at the front with long dark hair commented “we called y’all a long time ago” mind you it’s my first time here with a friend. He was even offended. Neither of us responded, we proceeded to let the guy who was helping us originally show us to our table. Flautas was fried so hard to a crisp, like mummy dust. The margarita was bland. The food did come out fast though; it was warm and not hot. To each is own, a lot of people love them so I say give them a try still…

Very tasty and fast service. Lunch combo #6 with three enchiladas was quite good! Decent portion for lunch, but not huge.

I’ve been to this a handful of times and every time I go it’s always constant to the time before, service, quality of food and can’t forgot the actual restaurant it’s self very enthusiastic. Each time I go I just get the simple taco dinner w/out beans. The mango margarita I got was very flavorful but it kinda had a vanilla hint to it? I highly recommend for a nice Mexican meal, place is HOT.

This is exactly what you'd hope to get for delicious & affordable Mexican food & cocktails. The customer service was top notch, so you may have to wait a little while for a table during busy times.

Awesome place, great atmosphere, nice staff, great good, great prices. We go there for lunch and dinner from time to time since we only live a few miles down the road in Downtown Detroit. This place has a nice and comfortable atmosphere, great staff, the food is always delicious, and I'm not sure if the wait staff remembers us, but we always get the exact same table, which make this feel even more family/at home. Definitely recommend!

Great margaritas but the food and atmosphere could be better. Chicken enchiladas are very good. I've had better beans and rice, but who comes for the beans and rice...

Very authentic food. The California Burrito was fabulous!!😋 The server was very attentive and the food was the correct temperature. The restaurant was exceptionally clean. I loved the mural outside the restaurant. .

Had a great late lunch yesterday. They were busy but got us seated right away outside. The only improvement would’ve been the chips and salsa. We had to keep asking for it for some reason. Food was great otherwise. Would go again!

The food was good. The wait for our food was little annoying, I am assuming this was because they might have been short staffed. Feels like you're in a proper Pueblo.
