They're back!!! But it's now a different format as well as a different location. They're now located in a permi-truck format at 3344 Vernor Ave with picnic tables outside, so there's no inside seating. Hours are 11 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 10 pm. Note, this location is not open Monday through Thursday. Tacos are off the chain, exactly as I remember in the dine-in restaurant. I'm unsure if they're still doing their pop up, but I'm sure it's on their Facebook page. Best Father's Day brunch ever!!!

So I came to this place based of a recommendation from a friend and when you first walk in it looks like a normal local restaurant. The food thou is delicious and I loved the tacos. I had the pollo and carnitas on corn tortilla oh man, so good. You can tell they are authentic and freshly made. The staff was very friendly and took care of us and the prices were good too. Will for sure go back, thanks guys!

I tried the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos and they were both deliciously seasoned and not dry at all. Their salsas are authentic and delightful! We also tried the fried chicken and it was amazing! They have the best margarita's here. First time here and won't be the last. It's hard to find a real Mexican restaurant and this is one of the best I've found in Michigan yet ! 6/24/21

So good! I ordered the lengua Taco dinner and a quesadilla. Let me tell you, the lengua was perfect! The different hot sauces they have are very flavorful. The horchata was perfectly smooth and sweet. I will be back. ¡Gracias!

I love this place! The tacos are so fresh and authentic. Every time I go, I get a margarita, tacos and the half BBQ chicken (which comes with rice and beans). The food is very affordable. You will not be disappointed. Also, this is a cash only restaurant.

Best tacos in Detroit. Very friendly service with great food at very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend the tacos Al Pastor and ask for the chipotle hot sauce. All salsa are home made and the margaritas are excellent. A must try when in Detroit.

One of the best grilled chicken i have ever tasted and one of the best mexican restaurants i have ever been too. Place is kinda small. Not a comfy place to eat . Seats were small. Had problem to sit and eat comfortably when 2 people sat on the same bench. But food are awesome. Will carry out from next time.

Fantastic spot for amazing eats. My new favourite taco spot in Michigan! Can't wait to go back and get me some more tongue and tripe tacos! I really like that they have almost everything available a la carte down to avocados. Amazing spot and their covid preventative measures are above and beyond what most spots in Michigan are doing (temp checks and mandatory hand sanitizing prior to entry).

Since this location is closed, this is a review of their pop-up at Batch Brewing. I just moved here from Austin, TX a couple months ago, and I have to say the chicken here rivals my favorite al carbon spot in Austin. The salsas were also delicious and everything was very affordable. I am so excited to have this here and will absolutely be back!

Delicious! Authentic Mexican food. They are cash only so don't forget to get some before you come. Super busy on a Saturday night, but we only waited about 10 min for a place to sit. Very small seating area but people don't seem to mind being packed in because it's good food and drink! All homemade hot sauces and salsa.

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. This place remains a favorite of mine. The tacos are authentic and tasty. They also have the best smoked chicken that comes in a dinner for a very reasonable price. The taco Tuesday deal is decent, however you have to get all the same kind of taco for it to be valid.

Today was only our second time eating here, and just like the first, AMAZING sweet barbecue chicken dinner! I highly recommend the chicken!

Decent Tanqueria for a quick lunch. The Tortas were not as good as I'd expected them to be altho the filling was delicious (I had carnitas) there wasn't enough of the filling so I ended up eating bread with lettuce, no bueno. The Tacos were alit better, I had an asada, beef bbq and pastor. The pricing in wonderful if you're on a budget, they do have a full bar(altho the Margarita I had was a premix kinda again, no bueno!) I ended up taking sum BBQ chicken and ribs to try at home the chicken was ok a bit dry but the ribs were better, did enjoy the bbq sauce alot! The atmosphere was laid back nothing over the top, it bordered on Divey but I didn't come for the atmosphere. Very authentic, on the most part very Delisious and I'll prolly drop by again!

CASH ONLY!! Good food. Interesting interior. They are known for their tacos and BBQ chicken that they grill in a small outbuilding you can see on Vernor. They have a parking lot but it’s rough in spots, especially going in, and not paved. It’s on a one way street so when you’re leaving you’ll have to go around the block.

I had 4 corn tacos, and with the sauces being not super spicy yet so flavourful, it can appeal to everyone! It came with limes, onions, and cilantro and even some chopped radishes! It's very tasty and so worth giving a mega huge tip given the affordability! They are also considerate of those getting to go as the whole tray was wrapped in a plastic bag in the carry out bag. PLEASE support this cash-only business and give them a try. If only more parking was available, but what can you really do in this part of town? Only sub-5 rating I gave was the atmosphere, as you are subjected to the elements. (but more like 4.5/5!) I'll be back to give their chickens a try someday. Love how the grill is right there in the open so you know it's fresh! 🔥🔥🔥Best corn tacos I've had, hands-down.

Not much to say that hasn't been repeated a thousand times before. Excellent burritos, amazing smoked chicken, solid ribs. Cantarito is top notch, good selection of beers and tequila. I miss this place most of all.

I'm so glad this place is open again. Best grilled chicken in the Metro Detroit area.
