I love how unabashedly classic they kept this theater! From the elevator with the mechanical doors to rather steep balcony seats to all the detailed etchings/carvings and prints all over the theater, you couldn't help but just love its charm. Absolutely beautiful. The selection of shows (usually classical/jazz based) is great. A must visit!

Great place with a lot of history to see a show! Historic elevators and bathrooms but would definitely recommend it! Not a bad seat in the house even at the very top of the theatre and it still has the theatre box seating too!

I loved it! I went to see Stomp there and the sound traveled well. It is also beautiful, especially the ceiling.

I never knew this place existed. The Music Hall Center isn't as fancy as the Fox Theater a couple blocks away, but it has a serious advantage over the Fox Theater when it comes to a feeling of genuine authenticity and nostalgia as soon as you enter the building. I can't believe I have been in the dark about this place for so long. We will definitely be back!

First time my wife and I came to this establishment and must say we had a excellent time! The bathrooms are very clean and sanitary. And the seating was to our liking. We went and saw Gary Owens for the first time perform live and let me tell you if you've not seen him, you're missing out! Cuz he is f****** hilarious! Highly suggest you go see him if you've never seen him before. Or maybe look up one of his comedy specials. Tickets were very reasonable and he even took a picture with fans from the audience. You can tell he loves what he's doing because he took the time out to do that with his fans. A lot of comedians don't do that anymore. And the place itself was very well put together.

Ample parking near the venue. Atmosphere of old fashion movie house. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside the original theater seats are not designed for 21st century bodies. The sound system is great.

I would have gave 5 stars ๐ŸŒŸ, if some of the entertainers had not came down into the crowd. The female was okay, it was the guy who came off the stage and dance with a woman who wasn't wearing a mask during the entire show. Unknown of woman status. Now on to the show. The musical was wonderful. Everyone did what was needed to have the crowd ready for a good time. I want to say to the one that is called "Preacher man", YOU know you were on point! Your vocal cords took everyone to church! Keep doing what YOU love โค and watch how GOD keeps blessing you Preacher man! Please enjoy the pictures. I didn't leave ANYONE out. Thank you for providing a WONDERFUL musical.

Took my wife to the Jersey boys for a Christmas gift. The place was awesome. The show was fabulous, the staff at the music Hall was just top-notch. These guys are awesome. Service was not to be outdone friendly. I am sorry to say that the only reason I can't give it a five star in my humble opinion is they need to put some cushion in those seats man. Two and a half hours and my butt was sore. But the end on a good note, the place is beautiful.

Ok. Music Hall needs some work. Enjoyed the show however, it was like sitting shoulder to shoulder with 1300 other people. Seats were old enough that they catered to a "smaller bodied" America. Times have changed and so has the average weight of the American population. Very tight squeeze. Some area if the building showing their age. Bathroom run (break) was fast. Staff friendly and helpful guides. Overall, great experience! Recommend checking your coat to ease comfort in your seat.

Absolutely fantastic venue for any thing. This past weekend though your air conditioning was far from adequate. But then again we're all hustling to get back up to speed. So I give them a pass!

Saw America there Friday night. Excellent show and really nice venue. Music & a view. Handicap was good as I rode my scooter right to my seat and then it was parked 5 rows behind me.

I went to a Funk Fest and it was set up outside very nicely outside. You had to go inside to use the restroom and when you walked inside it smelled so good entering the building...The bathroom was very clean. I had a great time!!!

Was here for the performance of symphony orchestra. Sound was great. Seats are located on levels , so from any spot can see the stage. Near by few parkings, which is convenient for down town.

Really beautiful building and good accoustics for the play that we attended. The woman's bathroom is too small. I wish the cafe had a menu with prices that was posted to be easily read.

Not the music hall but the out door club on the roof. Don't go there bold they lied to us we purchased 2 booths for 100 dollars with stains on the cushions. No food which they promised. Drinks watered down horrible expensive. One of the promoters lied false fight they took our money.

It was Ricky Smiley show, first time at Music Hall in years. we enjoyed the show and the ambiance of the theater. Had a problem finding our seating but it was so professionally taking care by an usher named Angela. Thank you Angela for making my wife and I comfortable. Thank you Music Hall for such a great staff. I will definitely be back next time!

The Music Hall is just gorgeous, allow extra time to take in the architecture. There is a bar for cocktails & a small food menu. In the ladies room check out the tile work in the original bathroom on the one side. The staff are professional & courteous & there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Saw a concert there recently. Nice staff! Great view, seems like there are no bad seats. The bar tender was great & our drinks were good! Take a card, as they don't take cash. Beautiful theater! Go if you get a chance!

I was here for a concert just a few weeks ago. It was quite an enjoyable experience. The seats feel just a little bit high in the main section, but it's not too bad. The ushers were polite & helpful. It's a truly beautiful venue, & I hope to go back again someday

It has a little age on it, but thatโ€™s just history talkingโ€ฆ Itโ€™s a nice, quaint place that makes you feel close to the artists. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Awesome location, just down the street from Comerica Park, Ford Field and the Hilton Garden Inn. Plenty of good places within walking distance to eat and drink. I shall return!

Great place for a concert. Intimate and close up. Our seats had a great view despite being at the back of the balcony. Seeing my fav band Collective Soul made it even better. I'll definitely come back for a concert.

This architectural time capsule from days bygone is as comfortable as it is romantic. It takes you back as soon as you step foot into the lobby. When you enter the auditorium, you are taken by the sheer height and depth of the building, and you can't help but stare in admiration. I attended four performances at the Michigan Thespian Festival there, and never wanted to leave. These pictures taken from the 2nd balcony, the highest up. (Edit: Said 3rd balcony, not 2nd; there are only two balconies)

If you ever see Swan Lake advertised for the Music Hall don't waste your time or your money . The stage in this place it's too small for Grand performances such a Swan Lake. I recently seen Swan Lake here and was very disappointed. I guess the Russian national ballet does not mean you get a great performance anymore. The decor sucked, the dancers lacked Grace and space to really dance. The decor was very poor and the costumes were mediocre. The music wasn't even loud enough. It really wasn't a waste of money and time. I'm used to seeing a ballet on a much bigger stage with Orchestra right underneath the stage. This really really sucked and did not deserve half the money we paid.

Cute, little place. I love the vibe. Only complaint was there was no toilet paper and 3 broken toilets while we were there which caused long lines, otherwise, I wouldn't mind coming back for another event.

Detroit landmark for concerts and shows. The Aretha Franklin room is stunning. Saw Guilty Simpson from Slum Village in a small intimate setting.

Mid size theater with good acoustics. The ushers were very helpful, especially with the disabled members of our party. The bar downstairs was convenient and had a nice selection. There is a parking lot right next door, however it fills up fast.

The concert was lit lit... but the workers there were not. How do u have half a row of seats NOT nailed to the floor and the only mKe good u can offer me is a further back seat than what I paid for? Then u tell me I should have escalated the situation when I thought I did. Its not my fault the workers there lied! Next time I will know better

I really feel like this music hall needs new carpet throughout the building, the carpet is hidious๐Ÿ˜ฎ , it needs a brighter color to match the immaculate ceiling. and it needs some minor renovations to revive the hall
