This park always has some very creative and innovative displays. Not to mention being a great green space just outside of Downtown Detroit. Great place to relax.

Went the day after Thanksgiving for the winter decorations and festivities and it was beautiful! Very well done. Plenty of lights, decorations, and trees.. and the bells were a huge hit with our kids! There is a heated seating area inside a tent and a handful of food options nearby. Adorable place to visit for the holidays!

Really love all that has happened downtown over the last 10 yrs! A ton of huge improvements! This is a cool little place to relax with friends, family or even alone. There is plenty of seating but can imagine it gets super busy here sometimes. It is located right outside lumen which is a really good resturant!

Beacon Park is a wonderful place with street parking, easy terrain (astro turf/fake grass) and beautiful views of the city. It is used often to host sponsored fun things to do. We have enjoyed fitness type of events there including outdoor yoga. We definitely will be back.

Great staff, prices are a bit steep. Example: Kale salad 14.00 add salmon + 9.00. Not horrible but add a drink or appetizer it's 50.00 and your seated on a picnic bench. It was a tasty salad and salmon was perfectly cooked. So I guess that's the new norm for dining out.

Really nice place to go for a walk by yourself or with family. Beautiful & Peaceful Atmosphere. Nice Restaurants Near By. They also Host alot of FREE COMMUNITY EVENTS here so AWESOME! Movie nights, Cider & Donuts 🍩 😋 Really Great Events to Share Family Time!!

Movie night was wonderful! Great space, warm and inviting. Nice size crowd for good family fun. Ty for the popcorn!

Really nice park. There was a heated tent and bell swings. Beautiful decorations for the holiday.

My friend invited me out spontaneously for outside Silent Disco Yoga organized by City Glow Yoga and I loved it! It was unique having both the speakers and the music in your ears via headphones. Perfect weather, too! I'd do it again and recommend it. M, 7.25.2022

Our Grandsons 8-16 loved it! Very beautiful displays! Music throught-out, refreshments stand, restaurant, lots of places to sit through out and even restrooms. Felt very safe with lots of friendly security. Over all great place to view Beautiful Christmas Light displays. Fun!

I love this park. It's always something exciting to experience. I love the cultural diversity and the natural flow of friendliness I have experienced every time I come to Beacon Park. Beautiful surroundings.

Great evening @ Beacon Park!! It wasn't to cold. Nice Christmas decor, a bar with coffee and alcoholic beverages. Lumens was an hour wait to dine outside in the outdoor igloos. We had a great time!!

Gorgeous Christmas decorations and many photo opportunities! Great spot to chill with family, to bring your kids, or even for a sweet date. Features a smaller version of the Christmas tree they have at Campus Martius. Loved it!

This is a real cool park that based on the pictures from other reviews, there’s always something cool happening. I visited when the Los Trompos were out. Seeing as I was visiting from out of state I didn’t know about this park. I was just walking downtown and saw festiveness! They’re so much fun for taking selfies or to just chill. When I was there it was easy to find one for yourself. Definitely one of my favorite things from that day!

First time being here but I really enjoyed the emphasis on green initiatives and the bee friendly nature of the park. Definitely going to come back during one of the events at the park and explore it more.

I come here to take pictures of my clients adorable dogs! It's pretty easy to find street parking and there is complimentary wifi which I like. The decorations are always very well done and plentiful.

It's a good place .lighting was good..I didn't find anything special other than lighting ..beautiful light decorations kids will enjoy

Beacon Park was a quiet, safe, and beautiful spot to visit on New Year's Eve at a time when Covid-19 didn't allow many of us to gather. Security was friendly, the park was exceptionally clean, and it provided multiple photo opportunities for others in the park. Will visit during other times of the year!

I had a marvelous time down there with Nat Morris and Fast Freddie from the Scene, along with Ask the Messenger

Nice outside outing for a girls night or even for a date night . They have 2seated tables off by themselves for privacy. Nice intimate space for a couple.

Great Christmas setup. The lights were beautiful. Great place for picture taking and meeting with friends in an outside, safe, and friendly environment. Many different Christmas themed light installations. There was even a Christmas tree. Hot chocolate was being sold, but the lines were too long and moved kinda slow.

It was a great experience. We went for the 2023 tree lighting. Very kid friendly.

Had a great time can't wait for next year if you've never been downtown on Friday before it is a must-see Beacon Park

It wasn't for a public event. We had a little lunch get together at work. The weather was nice. The park is clean and has a nice sitting area with shade umbrellas. Plenty of room for the volleyball game.

An amazing place for the whole family. Check out the concert series and see great artist like Skip Marley for free. There's market days with Detroit retailers. And tons of other things to do and see. Lumen has great drinks and atmosphere.

Beautiful spot to have a nice outdoor lunch date. Plenty of restaurants and quick bites in walking distance. Campus Martius is steps away from the Q Line tram which travels up and down Woodward Ave. Drive-in Movie nights on the weekend. I LOVE IT!!

I wanted to go last year, but it didn't work out. I was excited to check out all the lights. I was disappointed, I was hoping to a beautiful lighted walkway. However, there were a few big large decorations and a little train.

Maurice taught an absolutely envigorating hustle class. He was very precise and patient with those of us who were new to the class. The park was clean and comfortable.

We visit here often. The decor changes with the season. Came to sit n relax after dinner. Always enjoy our visit here!!

Attended Cider in the City, it was a great family-friendly fall harvest event featuring cider, donuts, pumpkin decorating, facepainting, horse-wagon rides, NFL on the big screen, a live dj and dancing!

Very unique space to hang out, chill and vibe in.
