Love this place! We usually come down here and take a walk or maybe even use the scooters or bikes. Lots of cool art work and a long stretch leading right out to the river walk and much more. They also have the fright yard where you can stop to relax grab drinks and sometimes even food. Highly recommended!!

A nice pedestrian walk & cycle pathway located just outside of downtown Detroit proper. Its just under 2 miles oneway and runs from Atwater St to Mack Ave with 4 entry/exits along the way. Its a nice stroll, run, or cycle in decent weather. Try it!

So happy to have discovered this walkway. It’s really calming and I love that you can either go deeper into the city or closer to the river walk. I enjoy all the stops along the way if you need a break.

I ride my bike on this this trail almost every day. Sometimes in the evening there are free concerts. Very crowded on the weekend but during the week it's golden!

Love to go here with my dog. It's always clean of litter, but dog owners tend to not pick up after their dogs. Nice stroll without having to worry about traffic. Beautiful art along the whole path.

The Harvest/Truck festival was wonderful with it's delightful flare of diversity. The array of things for children as well as adults to enjoy, span the infectious, inexpensive invaluable festive atmosphere of fun. From fun to memorable this event is one of the many community nutrition now amongst our family traditions. I appreciate the organizations that participated in this innovative chance to enjoy Detroit's iconic historic avenues. 😘🥰🤩

Great experience! A must see. Formally a Grand Trunk Rail line which is a wonderful greenway for walking, exercising or bike/scooter riding.

Enjoyed this place for a safe, relaxed bike ride and we were happy to discover art along the way. There were also beautiful trees, grassy areas, even a spot for kids to play. We loved that the path is away from regular traffic too. This is a fun free time for anyone who wants to get out. We will be back.

Grew up in the area when it was just an abandoned railroad track. It is AMAZING what the city turned it into! There were food trucks and vendors the day we went.

A great use of space and art. Can walk, run, or bike with no problem due to the wide walkway.

Great for family walking or biking. If you do the whole cut it's long so would reccomend a stroller or something. Theres a port-a-potty maybe halfway through but no places to stop for that so if you have littles make sure they go before. Was fairly clean a few empty bottles/cans here and there but was scenic and nice.

Love Dequindre Cut! Whether it's just for walking and exploring, checking out the great graffiti art, or checking out a festival, it's a beautiful/safe place downtown to enjoy 😊.

Such an amazing place! You can ride your bike all the way from the riverfront to eastern market through this subterranean stretch that avoids pretty much all street traffic and offers some truly amazing urban art viewing opportunities! Recent additions like the Freight Yard and the stage are also great! A real gem in the city!

We went for the August festival and it was very nice. There were activities for the children. Good food for the adults also because of the Halloween holiday there were costumes from kids animals and adults!!! People were having a wonderful time. There was staff handling and monitoring everything. I'll attend next year and dress up too!!

Great trail to walk, skate, bike or jog all the way to the riverfront. It's safe, well-maintained & manicured, and the murals & graffiti make great backdrops. 1st Fridays during the summer months are fun for all ages.

I had never walked this area before, but did so in on an urban hike with the MI Crossroads Sierra club. The murals were awesome! I would definitely recommend if you are in the area!!

Had never been and never heard of it, but big fun, lots of walking but fun. Food trucks galore, music...carnival like atmosphere.

If you're downtown and looking for a place to walk with lots of interesting things to see, this is a must visit. You can walk all the way from the River Front to the Eastern Market. Lots of murals have been painted along what used to be a rail line.

Everytime we ride our bikes here, I am reminded how lucky we are to have the Dequindre Cut. Smooth, clean, and safe.

Best damn 2 mi on Earth! Not really but it was great. I suggest that if you're not used to walking that you rent one of the scooters or the bikes and enjoy the beautiful murals that are known as graffiti art. Much much to see. And they got a great bar on the walkway! Another one of Detroit's hidden treasures.

A great evenly paved path to walk or bike on. Many murals to look at to help pass the time as I walk by. There are not many on and off points, so once you start you need to commit to the end or turn around in the middle. It would be nice to have more points to get off the path and stop fora drink along the way.

This is a cool, chill, relaxed place to take a nice walk in Detroit. It's a close to a lighthouse and the Detroit River as well. We had no trouble finding parking close by.
