It’s outside, it’s dancing, it’s great music, there’s are TVs and lounging - what more would you want? So come on out there if you want one or more of those things!! First time I visited the crowd was a great blend of middle aged and older young adults - everyone here was having a great time.

I went to this bar the Thursday before New Years of 2022 and gotta say, music was good and the DJ's - I think were all women! Shout out to this place for keepin my sister's in business and for the music on point. I had a black bartender who was super nice and on point, and then we had a bartender, white girl who had an attitude, and was slammin those drinks down to you on the other side of the entrance. It was cold, but I bet when the weather gets better all areas of the bar will be open. They had no cover charge, music was on point, they also had finger food at the front door, maybe because of holiday, but with no cover, it was lit! The only draw back for me was the drive because I live in A2. I found most of the staff, including Security to be friendly. I have only been here once and this was it!

First time over Memorial Day weekend. Ended the night here twice, had a really great time on Saturday night. But man, I’m tempted to almost give 2 stars. The older black guy who ran the door on Tuesday morning (5am) had the EGO the size of Jupiter. So rude and arrogant 0 reason. Should be spreading kindness. I watched him be hyper rude to an older man, just giving him grief for pettiness, all while that man maintained calm and positivity. Then a group of 5 individuals cut directly in front of my small group. Tried to mention it and he told me “ don’t tell me how to do my job, you must not want to come in” … idk what was in his cup, maybe a cup of attitude juice. I know everyone has been up and awake and working, but geez did not have to be so hostile. Several people in the line were turned off by his behavior, but obviously said nothing else because we just wanted to continue with our party.

When in Detroit, you have to pay a visit to TV Lounge. The best of House and Techno. The artists they host are phenomenal. The crowd is always more mature than the mainstream venues in the area. There ain't no twerking here. The sound is tuned just right; my ears have never left the place ringing. Drinks are a decent price, the staff has always been friendly. I would give them a one-star review just to keep this place a secret, but TV Lounge deserves better than that.

Cool place. Went for a techno music night. Love the different spaces- indoor outdoor, Sit stand, Cool art mural and outdoor lighting. Interesting mix of characters and clothing. Excellent people watching. Would go again😊

Edit: I found a review on Yelp where this same exact situation happened to another person. They said I'd you forget who your bartender is they will keep your card. My bartender forgot he was my bartender! What a joke. The Yelp review also stated that security attacked these people physically that were just trying to get their card back . Sad. The music is good but I won't tolerate this type of low class disrespect from anyone. I gave the bartender my card to open a tab. Later, I tried to close the tab and he told me he lost my card. I told him multiple times it was in the other register and he didn't listen. He told me the other bar tender had it. She did not. He lied and said he already closed me out. I told him, no he did not, that i never signed anything! After making me go through this song and dance, wondering where my card was for at least 30 minutes HE FINALLY LOOKED IN THE DRAWER I TOLD HIM 3 TIMES TO LOOK INTO and found my card. they refused to offer me any discount for the bs i had to deal with. I will never come back here.. I would appreciate someone in management reaching out about this matter

I visited during movement on May 29th, had a good time. More than a month later (July 7th) I have random charges showing up on my credit cards that I used. Check your statements!

My favorite bar! Love the tall sci-fiish seating at the bar. Awesome outside patio where they have live music. So much fun. Brings in all sorts of age groups and different styles and types of people. A must go for everyone who is chill and likes to have a good time

It's a very cool venue with great music but I give it a 4/5 because the drinks are way too expensive and the bartenders are way too slow at getting them out to you! I understand they get busy but it's pretty ridiculous honestly.

We just stumbled across this place. We were looking at what to do for on a Friday night. We noticed this had had reviews! We checked it out and we're glad we did! Definitely a new different type of place on how to listen to music in a club type of setting. Turn your ID in at the door to receive the head phones, they give u a number on a card that u give back to them when you leave to grab your ID back, then grab drinks party the nigh a way! The theme for the night was quiet nigh to think. You listen to 3 different djs on the headphones. Pretty cool way of doing things I'd say! Definitely a good night! Was fun! I think they have techno nights on Thursday nights too!

I was there for a private party, it was real chill and had a good time. They had a DJ and the music was good and the bartenders pour nice strong drinks.

Came from out of town ready to party (read: spend money) and were told $50 pp cover. Unreal. Poor strategy to get newcomers in.

Run by thugs with an inflated ego. No respect for the patron. Sad because it could have been great.

Great atmosphere, it's like two clubs in one. On one side the DJs playing House music or throwback jams, then on the other side of the club the DJs spinning something completely different. In the summertime you can go out on the patio and there's a completely different DJ playing different music. I love it there's something for everyone.

Awesome spot in downtown Detroit, the man at the entrance was a real gentleman on 29th June 19 during anniversary party. I recommend this place to any true michiganite!

This is easily the best club I've been to so far. They had fantastic music and I swear I've never seen or felt so much energy in one room. We will definitely be going back here.

Out of the many dance clubs I have been to around Michigan, this one is truly unique. The organic flavor of this techno club is seldom seen. This is where you go to let yourself go and enjoy the rhythmic pleasures of some of the D's most talented DJs
