Started off just hanging out downstairs, and always enjoyed myself. I spent so much time here, that I bought a VIP membership. Honestly, this place is my "Cheers" lol. I enjoy the membership. I frequently buy cigars during my travels, so I usually bring a handful of cigars I've acquired, and store them in my private humidor locker. The wait staff's cool, they're extremely hospitable. They've recently opened up a kitchen at this location, I've got to say, whoever they have in that kitchen is a culinary maestro lol. I've had a few items, and they were great. I'm also impressed with how they keep the humidor fully stocked. Again, I'm there every week. I may see, a handful of boxes empty, but that's it! To me, that's impressive, especially with resources being limited (been to other places that have backlogs in orders). Also, centrally located downtown. It's not too far from Comerica Park....what's better than catching a Tigers game, and heading over for a cigar with a brandy over ice!

I had a wonderful night at La Casa. There's a tented area next door with a DJ. The vibe and energy was great. You can enjoy a cigar, people watch, and enjoy cocktail or two. Five stars to their amazin bartender Melissa. They have many cigar selections with a bar to pair the smoke. You can hang inside or outside because they have plenty of space. The staff is phenomenal, friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable.

We've been going to Big Tommy's for several years. BT's consistently has awesome food, great service, friendly loving people and a wonderful atmosphere with the best Greek Michigan!

First time here... Love the ambience of the place...has so many rooms to choose from. Great to relax, chill with friends or self ... The ONLY problem was we ordered fries that took 45 to an hour to get... The service was great but just lack the motivation to be more on point with getting food out. Will definitely go back... Just not to eat.

The ambiance, people and the service is definitely top tier!! I wish the bathroom was bigger but that’s very small flaw. The variety of cigars along with the assistance will keep me coming back!

Experience the VIP , the decor is on point! everyone was friendly, egos were left at the door, ventilation very good, the waitstaff was very attentive. Downstairs was very comfortable as well!

Great atmosphere

Great location, great atmosphere and amazingly awesome mixed crowd! The Cigar selection is exceptional and then things start to slide down hill. Every bar has a drink that they make well... Not here. There is no consistency in the drinks being served. My wife ordered a margarita, nothing complicated. She was served a shot of patron with lemonade minus any type of garnishing, salt or surgar around the rim. Sophisticated downtown setting, so we were not expecting a below average drink selection with the pricing all over the place. I really enjoyed the people & Harmony Park directly across the street. I would not mind returning here once they add a bartender or mixologist to serve a refreshing cocktail from a dedicated drinks list that compliments the palate when accompanied by the distinctively rich aromas if one of world's absolutely finest smokes!

Well I've been coming here for years. Great service, lamb chops, drinks and apps. But today got a maurice salad to go and i was appalled. I'm not a salad guy but everytime I've gone and dined inside before all this covid-19 stuff food has been great. Well i got a maurice salad w/ pink turkey and the wrong dressing given. I was hoping it was gonna be as good as it was before covid but i was wrong. Farewell Big Tommy's Parthenon. You lost me as a customer.

Until tonight I always thought I had to go to Greektown for the best, I was simply wrong. The lamb shank is better than Pegasus !!! Very little fat on it and the sauce, potatoes, peas and green beans were right up there. My wife and daughter shared the Greek Trio and raved about it. The Greek Salad was very fresh, but a little sweet for me and I’m not a big fan of crumbled feta, I prefer the square you get downtown but it was still really really good. We are picky, and I’ll be coming here many times again. I would like to thank Courtney for being such a pro, I knew just by the way she took my order on the phone this was a good establishment!

My favorite night time dinner. Best fried Chicken Tenders and freshly made fries. Owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy talking to you all. Will be back soon. Great place to have a drink and smoke a cigar. The house cigar “the 20 minute cigar” line is a good smoke. Say hello to Matt the bartender. He makes a strong drink. Ask him about the history of the house cigar. Cool story. Would definitely come back when in town.

A very nice cigar bar with a lot of variety. Only issues it's hard to get a drink efficiently, I literally stood at the bar for almost 20 minutes, I had to ask the Gentlemen next to me to get me waiter. I figured a man's presents would get me a drink quicker which it did 😮‍💨. I would go back because I like the location and the atmosphere and I've been going there on and off for over 10+ years. Plus it's grown and sexy type of vibe. No young "kids" there which I appreciate. Cheers 🍻

Pick up your favorite cigar and head out back to enjoy it on the patio. Cool crowd, cool music and the drinks were unexpectedly reasonably priced. I will return and recommend you hang out and give it a try here also.

I fell in love after the first visit. Grown folks were sipping, smoking, chilling, and having a good time listening to good music. Great customer service from the cigar shop. Mike behind the bar is AWESOME! The dude is on it and super friendly! Great vibes, you will enjoy 😊 I’m already referring friends and will be back next time I’m in town.

We came to this spot for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was a winning. the staff were so friendly and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was yummy. We loved this spot very much and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

I had the Greek combo plate at lunch at Big Tommy's. The portion sizes were good and I especially liked the stuffed grape leaves with lemon sauce and the moussaka was one of the best I ever had. The avgalemono chicken soup with rice had a pleasing balance of chicken flavor and lemon. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs; responded well to our questions; and when asked, made good recommendations for food and wine.

Have always liked eating here. Typically I would order breakfast and it's always great. On this visit it was lunch and I ordered the Michigan salad. It was good but not a lot of ingredients like I expected. They are doing a great job with COVID.

Big Tommy's is trying to Bounce back from the shutdown. They remodeled & painted while they were closed. Currently serving inside, outside in the patio & carryout. Food is still great, you must try the Greek Pudding Cake. Might not be the proper name for, but they'll know what you're talking about. Good Eats....

It’s been awhile since we’ve been here food is always so good!!! Tonight I want to give kudos for their carry out service in these crazy times. Food was so fresh and hot and the order was correct!! Absolutely perfect and friendly service curbside. Thanks Big Tommy’s for a fabulous experience.

We order from our office so they get big orders from us. Asked for a rare burger, got one that was burnt on the bottom and all dried out - pretty much not worth eating. In a time when restaurants are struggling you would think it would be important to keep up the quality and keep what customers they do have happy. Very disappointing.

I love Big Tommy’s and have been frequenting them for several years now. The food is amazing! I haven’t had one dish that I didn’t like. The service is fantastic as well. Really no complaints. I love Greek food and Big Tommy’s does it better than most. Please support them if you can!

Great food, excellent service, awesome prices and nice sized portions. We had the Greek Sausage and Calamari for appetizers. For dinner we had Moussaka, Artichoke chicken "delicious", and chicken Gyro dinner. We would recommend all of it. Don't forget to get the Baklava :)

Still as wonderful as it was pre-pandemic! Carry-out is quick and accurate; Courtney is the absolute sweetest person and she is wonderful to check-out with! Portions sizes are perfect and so much flavor! Pictured is carry-out of "lunch" gyro and appetizer spinich pies - our family go-to!

I have lived in Novi 6 years now and can’t believe today was the first day I tried this...at the recommendation of a friend who lives in Ann Arbor. The food is amazing!! I’m still dreaming about the big T salad with village dressing. Also got a pita sandwich for my husband which he said was very good too. Menu is very gluten friendly. Can’t wait to try other items in the menu and get takeout from here again.

My family has eaten here too many times to count. The food is always amazing. The service is outstanding. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Although my favorite is the Vegetarian Trio even though I am not a vegetarian, The staff and owners always make you feel so welcome... almost like family. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all!

There was about 15 people within a small bar, nobody wearing masks, nobody social distancing, Bartenders were not even wearing masks.. If you have any concern for Co-Vid take your business elsewhere, Big Tommy's does not care about it that is for sure.

Food was fantastic, carry out procedure was safe and easy and all staff with masks on. Highly recommend during these times. Went back a month later and Bar scene was chaotic with no Masks, No Social Distancing, even the Bartenders were not wearing masks. Gross

Who knew that cigar bars were for females too!! Uponn my girlfriends suggestion, I tried a very light cigar for myself. I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was very helpful in the retail store. The vibe is very grown, laid-back and friendly. I will return.

La Casa never disappoints. Great vibe. Stopped in on 4/7/22 Opening Day Eve and place was packed. DJ was fantastic,, bartenders did a phenomenal job, the cigars were top notch and the crowd had a great time. La Casa does it right.

Man I went to this place for Gathering was so nice the atmosphere was perfect the drinks were good the cigars were great it wasn't super super smokey I'm taking that they have some type of ear filtering system but I really thoroughly enjoyed my time real laid-back good people good conversation I would definitely go again

Visiting from Ohio for the Smoke on the River Event that weekend. the Lounge is super dope, I loved the outdoor patio. I also loved the inside lounge but it was packed. They had a DJ outside and while he played some hits, the selection was just too random for my taste. When in Detroit, stop by this place, you will not be disappointed. Oh, except for the fact that they do not serve food. Some friends in my group were upset by that, but they also had a chance to eat before we even got there. La Casa is a vibe. GO HERE!

This was my 1st time ever going 2 a Cigar Lounge & my friend from high school (in the pic) is in town from Australia & some of our other classmates/friends meet us there for the most relaxing/enjoyable time. It's a great lounge with a nice atmosphere & I'll definitely patronize this establishment again 😍

I discovered this place while visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised. The retail store has a decent selection of cigars. The lounge has a very good selection of premium liquor and a great soundtrack playing. Bar staff and regular patrons were friendly and welcoming. I'm planning to visit again next time I'm in town.

I have been to this cigar a few times. They have a really great atmosphere and I like how the lounge and cigar area is separate. They extended seating to the parking during the summer night and the music is always good. There hasn't been one time I have been here and haven't had a good time. The people that attend are awesome and the staff is cool. I wish there was better parking but that's the downside with downtown. Overall, it's a great place to hangout on a Saturday night.

If you're a cigar lover, then you will love LA Casa! The atmosphere is great, the music is awesome, and the cigar selection isn't bad. Most people prefer to bring their own, and I'd advise this on your 1st trip. They offer two different outdoor options and being located Downtown in Detroit puts you right in the mix. Definitely worth it!! 👌🏾
