I finally went to Nemo's with a proper Irish escort. It is very traditional Detroit and right in the heart of Corktown. You can never go wrong with Guinness on tap. The food is exactly what you'd expect for an old Irish pub in the Irish part of Detroit. If there's a game on TV, it's on at Nemo's. If you're meeting friends downtown before a game, Nemo's is one of your best choices to meet.

If you love small local watering holes, this is your place! It's laid back, simple menu with a great alcohol selection. Went in for a bar burger & fries and was very happy with it! Just like you would expect! My only issue is they didn't have cheddar cheese. Oh well, it still was a great burger!

Best sports bar in Detroit! Loved the ambiance. Go back in time and relive the greatest sporting events in Detroit’s long history. The walls are decorated with news of championships. The old bars and stools are reminiscent of a time long ago. The good old days. Pricing is refreshing. Best cheeseburgers you’ll find. Staff is amazing. The same friendly faces that have been there well over 25 years. Love being able to continue making memories here, most recently transforming the back room in to a fiesta! Jump on the bus to head to the game, or stay and make new friends.

Excellent place to stop before the game. Shuttle service is great and we love the atmosphere. Food menu is limited, but tasty.

Classic. Nemo’s has been serving thirsty sports fans in Detroit for a long time. It’s surprisingly familiar looking because so many new places try to copy what Nemo’s does naturally. The old framed newspapers of championships were there from when the event actually happened. The bar, the food, the friendly patrons, the old time atmosphere, the beer and the great employees are what has always made Nemo’s the best sports bar in Detroit! I think my favorite thing was how I was treated like a regular even though it was my first time there!

Heard about this place and finally checked it out. Great burgers and cocktails!! Parked our vehicle here and took their shuttle $5.00 round-trip to Comerica Park for Billy Joel show. So convenient and cost saving. We'll worth it..food was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again.

I've been visiting Nemo's for over 30 years. Still feels like home when you walk in. Unlike every other food establishment, the burgers have actually gotten better. The staff is top notch class, and can't be compared to any other bar and grill in Detroit.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time!! Excellent and friendly service and the food came out rather quickly. Also got to meet a former Tiger's pitcher who came in for a drink!! Good times ⚾💜

A Detroit classic! Drink where Babe Ruth drank. Have a ground round hamburger and enjoy history at its best. An all time favourite. A must!

Wonderful old-school bar with a lot of Detroit sports history hanging on the walls,.. a smart, knowledgeable staff of equally old-school servers add to the overall good vibe of this very special place... we'll definitely go back the next time we're in Motown for a game. Didn't eat anything but I'm sure the food is on a par with everything else... Great Place!

I’ve gone to Nemo’s 5-10 times a year for the last 15 years for every event I go to downtown but I will not again. I spent $100 inside the bar before the lions game and bought shuttle tickets then was told I have to wear a mask on the bus which is no problem until they try to gouge you for $2 on each mask (party of 4 people) after just spending $5 each on shuttle tickets that were $3 in the past. I was really amazed that they would try to gouge people on something like a mask. A classic example of people taking advantage of the pandemic to make more money. I truly am disappointed this was one of my favorite places to go and I began to pass the tradition on to my children.

Nemo’s has bus transportation to/from Ford Field. The bar was very nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Food is limited but very good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Our return bus ride after the game, past midnight, was safe and timely.

This place is always a good time and is very busy when there is a special event going on such as st pattys day or even babe Ruth birthday party. Cash only on those big event days and the tent outside is always a lot of fun. They do serve food as well.

The original. Time capsule of everything Detroit and Detroit area sports. Great bartenders and servers. Every visit is a new memory. Still compliments the area and it's new fancy surroundings.

Its the perfect place to grab a quick bite before a concert or game downtown. They have a shuttle to the games and even some concerts. I will definitely be back for another burger and fries!

A diamond of an old school bar&grill. There are locals I've overheard coming here for 40 years! Place is covered in Babe Ruth right now for may 6th event .. ice cold beer/dim lights- tv's everywhere to watch multiple games/sports on. Simple menu- 5 sandwiches n fries.. 2 veg/vegan burger options. The classic burgers are fresh ground and outstanding! They offer shuttles and have their own parking lot as well. Definitely worth your time and $upport!

Just an awesome time all around, from the bartenders being personable and attentive. The regulars are welcoming. Try their burger. A fun place to just hang out before heading to any Detroit games or to watch a game on TV there.

Perfect sports bar. Small menu for food but everything you need to grab a beer and watch the game. Better made Chios for the win. Great beer selection and the staff are always so fun. Great and classic place for sports and can't beat the game and concert shuttle.

It was busy, more busy than usual. So it did take a bit before we got a drinks and food. But it was totally worth it! The burgers were amazing! Service was nice despite being busy, still personable and kind. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we waited so long.

F this $hithole. Rude bar tender. People getting food that came in 30 minutes after us. Have to get your own drinks and order food at the bar. Wanted to try something new in Detroit, regret that decision. 50 minutes...still waiting for a freaking burger! Edit: Bumped this to 2 stars. Bar tender obviously was overwhelmed and frustrated with the kitchen. We finally received our simple 2 burger order. One was fresh, one had been sitting for a while and was cold. And the fries? More like crumbs. Not a single real fry in the try. Maybe they were short 2 staff people? Not like the place was slammed. Definitely won't be back.

Good fries. Cold beers. The burger was made with frozen meat and the bartender was too stoned to work. He was perfectly stoned to run around the bar flirting and bragging himself up though.

Good beer, good sandwiches and soup. Old bar, great atmosphere, love the old sports photos on the walls. Excellent service too.

Dear Détroit, Nemo’s staff takes their time to give every customer a quality experience. Passion is present. Compliments to the CHEF who created the best meal of my week. Sincerely, Charlie

Been going there since I was young with my parents. Good food, plenty of drinks, and they bring you back and forth from tigers game. What’s not to like

Love that we can eat, have a drink and get to the game for $5 each. The staff is always friendly even at the point of packed madness. Thanks again

Corktown institution, Nemo's is your go-to bar to grab a beer with a friend, watch a game, eat a great burger, and experience a very chill, eclectic atmosphere...maybe live music on a Saturday night? Here you'll bump into people that most likely have been coming here since the 80s, and younger people that appreciate easy-going sense of the place.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat with family on the way to a Red Wings game. Due to short staff, they didn't have everything on the menu that was advertised on their web page. So we all had to settle for a burger and fries. Waitresses was great, she was busting her ____ to keep up with the crowd of people. Very loud, due to all TVs around the whole bar with the sports on every tv.

I just discovered this wonderful bar. Great old time sports atmosphere. No menu, just burgers and fries, but one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Great place, lots of fun, so much memoribilia. You gotta try it!
