Its wonderful. How could it not be!? Its the zoo! I personally love animals so I am very biased on this topic. But if you like animals you will love this exhibit.

You don't have to wait too long to see the wolves when they're wandering. They also seem to come up near to the glass quite often. My daughter and I were thrilled since we're both wolf lovers. Our only complaint is the quality, cleanliness of the glass.

It was hot weather when I went, and the wolves were just shading in the shades. They were not that active.

Visited the Cotton Family Wolf Wilderness at the Detroit Zoo, and let me tell you, those wolves have a better social life than I do! They howled on key, coordinated group photos, and even had a more organized pack than my family at Thanksgiving. Five stars for making me reconsider my life choices – maybe I should join the wolf pack!

The wolves are so beautiful, and the volunteer there 5/13 was so fun & informative! She even kept a group of HS girls captivated!

I gave it 3 because the zoo it self was not bad. The "cotton family wolf wilderness" was a 1! We didn't see any wolves at all! My biggest complaint is that if they are going to close all water fountains & vending machines due to covid then they need to add more drink stands or put drink coolers in the gift shops. My 5 year old whined for 30 mins that she was so thirsty until we found a drink stand!

Who doesn't love wolves? The little fake cabin is cute and has a fake fireplace which makes a cool picture moment.

So exciting that there’s wolves at the Detroit Zoo! Difficult to view the wolves at times, but a great habitat for them to have.

My husband and I went to the zoo today and had a great time! We got lucky with the weather and saw 90% of the animals. It's a lovely setting, and we were pleased to see large, enriching animal enclosures. There is a lot of friendly staff and volunteers. It took us about 4 hours to get through everything. I highly recommend it!

We did not see the wolves today (I read that one of them recently died unexpectedly. RIP). But this is a great stop to use the bathroom or recharge your water bottle. It's right between the kangaroos and the prairie dogs, and they have beautiful gardens planted everywhere.

Sometimes the wolves are hard to find but if you have patience you will eventually spot one or both of them !

The rarity of seeing these animals in a controlled environment presents a very vivid picture of captivity. Though these wolf seem to look docile, playful, and maybe even happy, don't mistake this to be a domestic of any sort. Some have even in resent times, owned and kept this wolf as a pet.

It was a great day to be at the zoo. 40° is so much better than 90° and humidity! The viewing area is nice, and accessible with so few customers in the zoo at any given time.

Come early enjoy the day, best exercise venue around. Plan on spending around 3 to 5 hours enjoying all the animals. Pack a meal or enjoy the many eating establishments Become a member and enjoy the animals all year long.

It's especially nice when u can spot the wolves. It would be nice if there were a couple of camera that could scan the area.
