Serious history buffs and researchers will probably enjoy this more than casual visitors. Archives are somewhere in the basement.

The museum was super cool and I love that their exhibits change. Their archivist Becca was also very helpful! Truly a hidden gem in Ypsi.

On Friday nights, 7:00, there is a vintage movie shown and a little chat. The host brings popcorn, and others bring treats also. Down in the cozy basement.

Have only been there for the movie night on select Fridays. Thereare many maps and photos and I have learned about Ypsilanti just by being in the basement. Some day I may come to learn more about this town.

Docent was very good & shared a lot of information. Luckily, I got to see the CD quilt show also. So glad we went

I took my sister here last month when she was in town to get a feel for Ypsi history outside of the weird stuff I know. The docent was super informative and really great at answering our questions, no matter how absurd. I think it was my sister's favorite part of her trip here! Every time I've gone has always been great. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and the exhibits are always changing, giving you a new facet of ypsi history each time.

This place is a hidden treasures! So much " cool stuff". The docents really know Ypsi and are very inviting. Well worth the visit. You will leave with great tidbits of history and a new appreciation of Ypsi. There really is more to Ypsi than the unmistakable water tower.
