If I could give the ER at this hospital a negative star I would. The ER nursing staff should be given courses in patient/family care. They are rude and unkind to patients and their families who are already there in stressful situations. My daughter was taken to this hospital last night after being in a car crash. The ER nurse in pod 5 gave my daughter a bed pan but didn’t assist my injured daughter with sitting up and getting placed in the pan nor did she provide any towel to wipe herself after. That is not where the lack of care stopped. The ER nurse then began talking rudely to me as I spoke with the registration attendant. She was very aggressive and mean when directing me to my daughters location. I had to stop at the nursing station and ask for her to be removed from my daughters case as she was argumentative with me as well. As I asked for another nurse to assist me back to my daughter she kept screaming out at me and now him her location. This behavior from her was witnessed by several staff and from what I could tell it must be acceptable. I was able to speak with the head nurse a lovely blonde who tried to deescalate the situation and assured me that the other nurse would have no additional contact with my daughter or myself. It was admitted to me by the head nurse that this particular ER nurse has had several complaints. My question is why not do better. Why not get these nurses some additional training. Why not be there to help people in stressful situations.

Avoid this place if you want to live. This hospital is DANGEROUSLY understaffed. I tried to call a critical value on a 1 year old cancer patient, a lab value that meant she could be bleeding internally, and no one picked up the phone. After 2 hours of calling the ER and begging for a nurse or doctor, I gave up. I was a travel employee, so I didn't have access to the safety reporting program to even report this problem. And it happened all the time - serious criticals on patients of all ages, all gone unanswered because the nurses literally don't have time for a 30 second phone call because they're so overwhelmed. If they don't have time for that, do you think they have time to take care of you? I saw a man languish in ICU for a WEEK before anyone was available to drain his chest infection. Nurses broke down on the phone when I asked if they're ok. The staff here cares about the patients, but administration doesn't, and their lack of concern is literally hurting people. The lab processes samples for a 2,000 bed complex and is staffed at 50% with employees working a dozen 12 hour shifts in a row to cover gaps. You are NOT getting good care this way - lots of bad results are going out, because they don't have the time to make sure what they're resulting even makes sense. 70% of medical decisions are based on lab results, and administration is doing NOTHING to help the overworked, exhausted staff running those tests. DMC also supports a culture of violence and distrust. I worked in the lab all of 10 weeks before a coworker assaulted me. Management sided with the violent coworker and refused to do a proper investigation, refused to interview anyone, and refused to get us in the same room to talk. I requested a mediated meeting with this coworker before the assault and was denied and told to pretend everything was fine, even though I made it clear I was terrified of that coworker. Quitting was the best thing I ever did. Tl;dr you will die here because there's not enough staff to keep you alive. Go to any other hospital if you can help it.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by your hospital on 4/16/2023. I was admitted to the hospital for a possible Heart Attack, and I was extremely disappointed with the care I received. Firstly, I was made to wait in a chair in the hallway for an extended period of time before being moved to a bed in an empty wing of the hospital. I understand that hospitals can be busy, but this was unacceptable and unprofessional. I felt neglected and ignored by the staff, who seemed to have no concern for my well-being. Once I was moved to the bed, I lay there for three hours without any communication from a nurse or doctor. I found this experience distressing and unacceptable. It is unacceptable to leave a patient alone for such an extended period without any updates or check-ins. After three hours of waiting, I decided to leave the hospital. I was shocked that nobody had noticed my absence until I reached the exit door, where I was stopped and instructed to write a formal complaint. The level of service I received from your hospital was unethical and unacceptable. As a patient, I deserve to be treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism. I felt that my care was not a priority to your staff, and this is unacceptable. I would also like to mention that I sought medical attention at a different hospital shortly after leaving yours. There, it was found that my blood pressure was at a critical level, which was alarming and concerning. However, the staff at the other hospital treated me with the utmost care, respect, and professionalism. They listened to my concerns and worries, and I felt like I was taken seriously as a patient. This only highlights the stark contrast between the level of service I received at your hospital and the level of care that is expected in the healthcare industry. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take the necessary steps to ensure that this does not happen to any other patients in the future. I expect a prompt response to this complaint and a plan for improvement. Sincerely, David Ross Jr.

Went to D.R. for heart issues. They wanted to keep me for observation. Didn't get a bed upstairs which I understand. My cardiologist is associated with this hospital. He or his team never showed up. They wouldn't call another team because they don't want to step on anyones toes. I went to the bathroom and they never come put my monitor back on. After a hour I went to ask why they didn't. The nurse said that the day time doctor said I didn't need it. Heart, people. I'm here for my heart and how are you monitoring it. 12 hours of sitting there. No. Take my iv out and I went directly to U of M hospital and received the best care

The big white lady with blue/purple hair who sits at front desk as soon as you walk through the Emergency doors on the night shift is very rude and has a terrible demeanor. This individual does not present the professionalism, friendliness, and commitment for a hospital working environment, especially being in the Emergency Department. While I was there getting checked out, I have seen her make smart remarks towards other individuals seeking medical assistance. I also saw her give EMS and law enforcement officers a very hard time for trying to bring in individuals who need medical help and that is very disappointing to see. I will never come back to this hospital.

Where do I begin, my healthy 80 year old neighbor who is like a mother to me has been at DMC Receiving Hospital since 8/24/23 to present. They are holding her hostage because she has no family in the states and her spouse has been deceased since July of this year. There is nothing wrong with her, she has been on the same floor and almost same room since Sept 2023. The Nursing Staff especially a nurse named Peace Vumomse refuses to let her leave AMA. Peace Vumomse and has been contacting my neighbors ex sister in law without my neighbors consent and releasing information to her. I turned in the necessary POA of Health Care for my neighbor which the staff completely ignored and instead banned me from seeing her as a punishment. There is so much more to this story that it is unprofessional, sickening and against HIPPAA laws. PLEASE, PLEASE do not take your loved one to this facility. They are horrible and very rude!!!

My mother just had spinal surgery, it was rescheduled 4 times because the staff there are so incompetent no one knows one end from the other, the poor surgeon had no clue who put that he was out of town it was a mess. The day of her actual surgery she wasn't even on the schedule she literally waited all day even though we were told to have her there at 6 am. She didn't receive the surgery until the next morning. She was in so much pain she kept passing out. Then she gets discharged with NO medication after a SPINAL surgery because the nurse made a "mistake " and sent scripts to her pharmacy which was closed for the evening. Failed to order a wheelchair and had the audacity to tell my sister she could come to the floor to assist, that my mom was going to have to use a walker and WALK all the way down to where she was parked in the snow and ice! Unbelievable! This place should be shut down for the amount of consistent disfunction. It borders on elderly abuse. No compassion no understanding then threatened to send my mother home in a cab! I'd give ZERO starts if it was an option. To the staff if this was your loved one would they have been treated the same? It's such a shame. I have friends that are nurses and doctors that pour their heart and souls out for their patients and I've never in all my years seen ANYONE so miss treated start to finish!

This hospital clerks are just messed up. If you ask for help over phone, they reacts with anger. It seems they don’t wanna work. No nurses for help. If you ask for help, they reply “coming in a sec” but they never come. Is this ridiculous? I strongly recommended not to go to this hospital. Very disappointed situation. NB. I went to ER today.

The staff in the ER are rude my husband who has memory issues because of a stroke (he was not there for the stroke) they would not let me stay with him would not help him plug in his phone so he could talk to me. Getting updates on his condition were few and far between as they refuse to answer the phone and then because of hippa wont talk then if you say fine I will be inside the waiting area they say we don’t have time to come out and talk to you

Deserves ZERO stars. Sat in emergency waiting room for SIX HOURS. No one would tell us anything about our family member. Every time we would try to get information they would tell us they would find out and just never come back. At one point, one of the security guards told us that shift change was at 11pm and just to wait until then to talk to someone. Stay away! Read the reviews! Our local hospital transferred our family member there. We are getting her out of there ASAP. It is so obvious that they absolutely do not care.

By far the most immature group of hospital staff I’ve ever transported a patient to. I go to 10 different hospitals while working in EMS and I dread coming to this hospital only because of the petty staff. Crystal and Beverly both take forever to register patients and treat EMS like garbage. I recently had to extricate a patient down 5 flights of stairs and when we headed to the Resus room Crystal stopped my partner and I from going in and yelled at us because we couldn’t obtain the patients birthday. Our patient was still unconscious, figure it out and go back to your computer Crystal. Theo is by far the worst employee at this place that I’ve come across in the last 4 years. I’ve witnessed him belittle EMS while they’re with their patient giving a report, I’ve seen him yell at patients who aren’t stable. I’ve seen him dismiss his coworkers, EMS and patients. He does not need to be in the field he’s in. While he’s safe in a hospital with security guards and patients who have gone through security checks, I’ll be out on the road going into homes where knives and guns are pulled out on me. I’ll be out there picking up and moving unconscious patients down endless flights of stairs while Theo sits at a computer desk. Theo wouldn’t survive one shift on the road in Detroit.

I only gave 3 stars because of the ER Dr. V Of whom was exceptionally professional However, the staff on another hand 👇 I'm trying to reach the nurse's station for my niece I, got through, hospital staff answered, put the phone down, and I could hear them talking the time was 630p. Maybe Receiving Hospital need to get more professional employees everyone is trying to be the chief. Can't imagine being Admitted to Receiving Hospital That would be the last place for any decent human being To be cared for.

If I could give zero stars I would. My grandmother has been in the hospital a little over a week. I’ve tried contacting the nurses station a few times and they usually never answer or answer put me on hold and never come back to the phone. During her time in the hospital she has been receiving cold food and when asked about it they said it’s something wrong with the system. Why hasn’t it been fixed after all that time. Who wants to stay in the hospitals receiving 3 cold meals a day so she hasn’t been eating. Not to mention that the doctors are not even informing her of what her condition is to remain in the hospital. She went in for a swollen hand and now her hand and arm is swollen. I was even there when the dr came into her room once and they seem like they have no idea what’s going on with her.

Don't push the call buttons the nurses won't answer them. The food is disgusting and the building itself makes you feel like your in jail. I came in with shortness of breath, I was admitted but didn't get a room for 3 days on my 4th day I got a room and was discharged an hour after. When I was discharged I was told I couldn't work until I saw a primary physician but that wasn't put in my discharge papers which could have caused me to lose my job. Now I can't get anyone to fix it.i will never go back

I spent a month at this hospital and had a really great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, the food was really tasty, the rehabilitation center was large, clean and the trainers did a great job, they helped me to walk again. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

The nurses are rude and disrespectful they won't come and check on my son and he has 3rd degree burns broken bones everywhere. I was on the phone with him for a hour and half and his nurse Kiara would not come I called and they told me he has to wait and she has other patients so 2 hours later at 7 pm she left. Then a lady said she was the senior coordinator and wouldn't give me her name I'm telling her he's in pain. She hung up on me. I feel like they don't want to take care of him cause he's a young black man. I had him call on 3 way cause they wouldn't answer me. Then when I check her she tells my son to advise me she will call security on me.

When a friend goes in and is experiencing alcohol poisoning. No IV fluids provided or concussion testing after they hit there head! They were left in the hallways covered in there own vomit no water or help. Nurse who walked by just laughed! I work in the medical field and understand everyone is exhausted but patient care was NOT provided

ER Security and those answering the ER patient inquiry phones would benefit from a course in customer service relations. As a frontline provider myself, I understand pandemic safety is paramount, however, we must remain cognizant that caring family members are distraught about their loved one. Caring compassionate care applies to the patient and supporting caregivers. As a highly trained medical professional, I am not a fan of being spoken to in a condescending manner. The lack of respectful conversation should not be a norm from DRH employees. Very poor experience. Would not recommend willingly seeking health care at Detroit Receiving Hospital. MONDAY February 7, 2022: I still have not heard from an attending physician. The ER provides numbers to call for information about a loved one. NOONE answers the phones. I am told to hold on and the line disconnects. I am promised a call, no one calls back.

I dont usually leave reviews, but this is by far the worst hospital or at least the sleep clinic is terrible. I've called them everyday for 7 days straight to get ahold of someone so I can see my doctors and no one picks up the phone nor returns your call . I contacted management, and the lady tried to help me to get a hold of them and still nothing. She tried calling them and she even got back to me and told me that she wasn't even able to reach them. She was concerned, and reported it to cooperate because you can call them for 2 weeks straight and no one will pick up the line. It's a sleep clinic so I hope the employees arnt sleeping on the job. How sad, that it's that difficult to schedule an appointment or to even reach staff for something so simple. So unprofessional I would NEVER be seen there ever again. I changed My doctor and I can't even get my documents faxed over to my new doctor for reevaluation because this hospital won't respond and fax over my progress notes. Truly disappointed and disgusted with this facility.

Would give zero stars if I could. Came in telling the nurses I COULD NOT BREATHE I was told to “go ahead and take a seat in the waiting room” Left in 10 minutes to go to Henry Ford, where they prioritize patients accordingly. There’s no reason to let someone having an asthma attack sit and wait. The nurse and security guard at the front desk were useless and rude. They looked at me like I had 2 heads and acted like they didn’t even work there. The security guard questioned did I have a lighter in my purse and even though I said no he says “even if you don’t smoke it doesn’t mean you don’t have a lighter.” AGAIN, IM HAVING AN ASTHMA ATTACK CAN YOU HURRY UP? I’ll never be back Edit: HF took me in less than 5 minutes and they were just as busy. Do better.

Terrible just terrible Hospital. They need to fire Michelle on the 5th floor! He she is very messy! And the other nurses says he bothers every patient that comes on his floor. Just no compassion and don’t care. He doesn’t change sheets he rather gives u the sheets to change yourself when u can’t even stand up n walk. He keeps coming in the room just to nik pik at you and doesn’t do his nurse duties. He she gets away with how he treats patients the DMC is scared to fire him. The emergency room is just full of some of everyone with different sickness even in the same room with Covid patients with no masks and I seen a lot of patients with no gown on. Just terrible! DMC hire anybody these nurses are awful and disrespectful to u . Talk to u any type of way don’t have compassion for anyone. These nurses including Michelle need to be fired. PS….. The food is terrible! Just awful. Shame on DMC! Please get ur love ones out that Hospital they will kill your love ones too.

Good luck getting a medication refill, you'll get stuck bouncing from voicemail to voicemail only to get calls back from people telling you to call other numbers that won't return your calls or if they do they send you to someone else, in an endless kafka-esque loop. edit: Regarding the response: LOL, I doubt it, I've been trying to fix this for over a week now.

My mother went to the emergency room. She is a cancer patient and was wearing a mask when she arrived. When I went to see her in triage her mask had been removed and tossed on the floor. 99% of the staff were not wearing masks. Which is their choice BUT my 80 year old mother had on one and this was disregarded. Now a few days later she wakes up sick and confused. Her COVID test is negative but she clearly picked up something in that hospital.

Dear Detroit Receiving Hospital team, I am writing to you to express my concerns regarding the waiting time at your hospital. As an emergency patient, I have noticed that the waiting time in the lobby is often very long, and people waste a lot of time waiting for their turn. I understand that the hospital staff is doing their best to manage the influx of patients and ensure that everyone is seen in a timely manner. However, the current waiting process seems inefficient and causes a lot of inconvenience to patients and their families. I urge you to take immediate action and update the waiting process at Detroit Receiving Hospital......Thank you

Been in ER waiting for about 12 hours now! Got here about 230p, had some tests about 5p. Nurse hasn't checked on me, I'm in a cold room with the bed right under a vent so I had to come sit outside the room in a chair. No nurse has come to check on me. Everytime I ask someone they tell me to wait. I have no bed bit they say their admitting me. It is now 3a...and I'm still sitting in this hard chair. I haven't had food, and feel like I'm about to pass out.

I had my blood drawn at UHC lab 5G in the green room by Yasmein McCall on 11-16-23. I had a great experience. One quick poke and it was all over. Great job Yasmein. First of all she introduced herself and was very polite. She showed respect and was friendly. Everything you would want in a good employee. You can tell she is a people person. She is a true asset to the workplace. 5G Lab is a great place to get your blood drawn.

Would give negative 10 stars if I could my mom had major back surgery today. She is inpatient surgery she got in recovery at 2pm. At 430 she has no room yet. I talk to the nurse and they tell me this is a trauma hospital and emergency room patients get rooms first. They basically said she is on the back burner for emergency room people. And she might not get a room tonight. And that till she does she will just stay in recovery. My mom went into surgery at 820am and in the back at around 630. I haven't seen her since this morning and now probably won't see her till they decide she is important enough to get a room. Why would u schedule inpatient surgery if your not gonna make sure the have a room afterwards.this place was horrible and jankey in the 90s and early 2000s and still is just cause they smacked dmc Infront of the name and gave it a facelift don't make it a good hospital I would rather risk getting shot at cyanide grace then ever come here again.

As a physician assistant I am appalled at the customer service I received in the ER waiting to see my elderly aunt who was being treated. Virtually impossible to get back through the doors to see her. I have sent many patients thru this ER. I will definitely rethink any future referrals. Update: the security guards were fantastic and once I got through to see my aunt, the nurses were quite helpful.

I wish I could rate this a triple 0! The absolute worst staff ever! The nurse that tended to me upon being brought to the ER by the police immediately treated me under the assumption that I don’t deserve a sanitized room or water or care that is due for a patient in my state. I was battered and bruised. She was rude and placed me in a room with a bed with blood still on it from the original person didn’t bother to come and clean it until over an hour and a half. When I spoke up about it again she had the worst attitude and wiped the bed down with a rag and bleach swinging the rag which was not squeezed out; contaminated bleach swung on me. When she gave me a shot of toridal for pain she didn’t even wipe with alcohol swob or put a bandage on it. So I’m bleeding and the officer had to put a bandage on me. She was all types of liability. I told them I have diabetes she didn’t care she said my levels are good. They weren’t… I was dizzy and dehydrated. Didn’t ask what type I had or cared. I would never willingly go to this hospital.

They need to make a negative star option!! Absolutely disgusting how this “hospital” is still even in business with how poorly they treat their patients. The nurses and doctors are a complete joke, and were very unprofessional and didn’t even do their job, and that’s what they’re getting paid to do!! I went in with a family member and saw a number of patients on beds in the halls being ignored by the nurses every time a patient asked for something. They were talking very poorly (and very loudly while using expletives) about certain patients and just acted like doing their job was such an inconvenience. So I made my family member leave because they didn’t feel safe there and I drove them over an hour away to go to Henry Ford because at least I know that hospital has actual doctors and nurses that want to help people. And I trust that hospital and knew my loved one would be taken care of.

the er doctor yesterday night was phenomenal. great bedside manner, easy to talk with, and took my concerns seriously. he was thorough with running tests. my experience having him perform an abdominal ultrasound was actually super neat, because he let me ask questions about what was being shown on the screen & he explained to me what all we were looking at. i wish i could recall his name so i could namedrop in this review to give him the recognition he deserves. sorry about that. the nurse who attended to me was great too. getting an iv in me can be a nightmare, but she aced it. there isn’t even a bruise! knocking off one star for the long wait to be seen by the doctor, however i did anticipate a lengthy wait time. just sucks to be stuck sitting in those uncomfortable waiting area chairs for hours as a chronic pain experiencer.

I was just literally told by the female that answered the phones (who has a terrible disposition & changed her name twice) that the reason a recording comes on that says the number is disconnected when trying to reach the emergency room is because the staffing shuts their phones off when they get busy. She was lying!! I’m assuming she became irritable, because I called multiple times to check on the status of my mother. First time she said her name was Karen, but she was probably lying about that too. It was at 3:49am on February 16th. She needs to be fired. Who deliberately doesn’t only connect loved ones to their sick families, but lies on the staff. Absolutely ridiculous…terrible!!!

I thank God for the nurses, staff, and doctors at this hospital. In 2009, my mom had an ectopic pregnancy, and God used y’all to save her life. She told me to pray for the babies in the icu, for the nurses, and doctors here out of nowhere, I never heard this story before. I searched this hospital, and I know how much hate y’all experience, to anybody who is following Christ in this hospital, don’t be discouraged there’s so much hate, but love always wins. My account was paid in full on time but they sent me to collections months after! Even after I called the billing department back to investigate they confirmed that my account was paid in full and I shouldn’t be in collections. When I requested both a physical letter as well as an email stating this, I was blown off and they said that they’ll “see if they can get to it” which they never did. Still waiting on both letters and it’s been over a week. The collection agency will not remove the mark until this letter is provided. It’s really unfortunate that this has happened seeing as I just started to feel comfortable enough to see my hematologist for my chronic illness, only to have the hospital throw my trust and comfort back in my face. Avoid this hospital at all costs. I do want to say that the hematologist and their staff as well as the phone directory ladies are wonderful. However, the risk of potential insurance fraud is not worth the care.

I was seriously burnt in a brush fire, Mt Clemens sent me to DMC. The emergency room was a little hectic but it was a Sat night in the summer time. But they gave me the care I needed until I got to the burn ICU. My 1st nurse Savee was absolutely great, and cut into all my blisters and cleaned all the dead skin up, and wrapped up all my wounds, also had Savanah which was a pleasure. The 1st few nights weren't terrible, but then things got worse, the dressing changes were way to painful, so Dr White and Dr Bayler recommend recell surgery, so the next day we did that, there 2 amazing guys! Greg in the burn ICU was absolutely amazing changing my dressings and understanding the pain level, day by day he got a the reform/staples and plastic off my legs, Michelle and a few others that worked on me were amazing too! I'm on the 4th floor and all my nurses have been wonderful. Lula and her daughter Dee are very caring, along with Ivonna and Laura are awesome too plus Aaron another good caring nurse, all the nurses that have taken care of me have been great and I'm really thankful, I can't remember all there names but they all have been great, along with the physical therapy team, the whole team has been great! Melode is really uplifting and a wonderful CPA and hopefully one day soon be a nurse. But I can't thank the whole staff as a whole enough! Everyone has been great and they are trying to get me home to my family. Thank you Detroit receiving! Hopefully I'll be walking soon, so I can get home to my family!

The nurses have no compassion for the patients they’re just there for the paycheck. I wouldn’t take my dog to the hospital. I felt like I was in the County Jail if it wasn’t for the doctors, I would say shut it down

This is the worst hospital in Detroit. The doctors and nurses in emergency, the nurse Angela that was on the fifth floor, and the finance lady Kaila was all very rude and unprofessional. This hospital clearly hires anybody and don’t care about their patience. Let’s not mention how filthy and outdated the whole hospital is. I felt like I was walking through the projects. Just terrible!

I was in Detroit from out of town. I landed in DRH with stroke symptoms. An ER set for maybe 12 patients was overloaded with tourneys end to end. Observation unit was far worse with tourneys type beds, cubicles instead of rooms with curtains too small to give privacy. Worse than a 3rd world country. The 2 nurses I had were excellent though.

The person doing intakes/ receptionist was extremely rude. The doctors examining me missed that I had a UTI and were very incomplete with their exam. I will never go here again.

I arced across the posts on a car battery with my wedding band and caused severe burns on my ring finger and vaporized part of the wedding band. I went to the ER at Royal Oak Beaumont for treatment first and they referred me to the Burn Center at Detroit Receiving. Made my appointment and WOW! What an experience! From the moment I walked in the door, I felt well cared for, but when I went up to the burn center it was absolutely the most caring, helpful, and incredible experience. The individuals that work in this unit are great human beings. I don't know how they do it every day with a smile on their face and care for EVERY patient. They are EXTRORDINARY...PERIOD! Thank you!!!!!

Went in for an ASTHMA ATTACK and they had me waiting in the waiting room for so long I had to leave to go to Beaumont Trenton. The staff are unprofessional and unprepared. I do not recommend going here if you value your life. Just a shame.

Staff was really great to me. I was in the ER and everyone treated me with kindness. There was one staff member in particular (I wish I knew his name) who I won't ever forget as he kept me real calm. Whoever he was, I wish I could say thank you.

Energency staff(nurse) at overnight are very rude. Morning staff was ok. While i was there waiting for an ultrasound hours after hours, saw very critical condition patients calling staff , but they don't respond to the call even though they hear it while laughing and gossiping with each other. These people are helpless that's why admitted to ER,they don't deserve to be treated that way. Understaffed, rude, and very unprofessional. Dr and interney Dr were nice though. I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends and family and you should avoid it too. Your dear ones doesn't deserve to be treated that way. Stay safe

The two star rating is for the handling of my husband's belongings. His eyeglasses, watch and money were never recovered after asking multiple times about it. His health was already at risk and you tend to forget to follow up with everything going on with your loved one. This will definitely be the last visit to this facility. I'm very disappointed. I will be contacting our attorney about this.

If I could rate this hospital 0 stars i will be that. Hospital staff are very much rude, the hospital staff are very much liar, a nurse told recently i was there back in 2020, i was there to be treating for COPD and that i just had a baby! I found it very very strange because i do routine regular check up at my physician, nobody diagnosed me with COPD and i do not have no children let alone was pregnant! So what raise a concern with me by me having a degree and certified in medical billing and coding are they falsifying ICD-10 codes on insurance claims to get as much money as possible of a patient "diagnosed". I WOULD NOT recommend this hospital to nobody i do not care if you was on your dying bed they would try and take you out before they try to help you get better! This hospital needs to be closed down!!!!!

They stationed my dad in the hallway, and they had literal criminals there in handcuffs, screaming and shouting. Finally, after a request, they put my dad in a room but without a nurse call button. My dad is over 85 and can’t move without help. I had to leave, so I went to the desk and asked for one, and I was told they were bringing one. I went back an hour later, and this lady got mad and started being rude because I asked her twice, then threatened to leave my dad in a room without a nurse call button. No one said a word, and everyone just watched and apparently no one knew the rude employees name. Amazing staff... This is the first review I ever left for anything… so congrats!

ER staff was great on emergency visit June '23. Billing department and practices an absolute nightmare. After repeated contacts-phone, faxes, overnight mailings with signatures, they STILL have not submitted properly to secondary insurance, November '23, and haven't resolved and are harassing. Lawyer engaged. Not recommended.
