My
grandpa
stayed
there
for
like
3
weeks
after
he
had
a
stroke
I
felt
like
they
rushed
him
to
be
discharged.
Some
of
the
nurses
and
Assistants
were
nice
from
day
shift
but
all
the
mid
nights
shift
nurses
all
of
them
have
attitude.
I
have
nothing
against
older
nurses
but
they
really
need
to
be
trained
and
need
more
education.
Nursing
is
different
now
it's
not
how
it
used
to
be
back
in
days.
It's
more
advanced
and
the
senior
nurses
to
be
more
knowledgeable.
My
grandpa
had
crainectomy
a
week
before
he
was
transferred
to
select
so
obviously
he
is
not
alert
and
mobile
so
he
need
to
have
SCD
machine
on
to
prevent
blood
clots
forming.
When
I
asked
the
nurse
don't
he
need
a
SCD
machine
she
was
like
oh
the
doctor
has
to
write
a
order
it.
but
dont
you
not
know
when
a
patient
had
surgery
recently
they
require
SCD?
When
I
went
the
next
day
I
asked
a
day
shift
nurse
about
the
SCD
machine
it
took
her
less
than
a
min
to
find
a
SCD
machine
and
hook
him
up.
How
come
she
didn't
say
"oh
the
doc
need
to
write
a
order".
As
a
nurse
your
supposed
to
be
the
patient
advocate
but
I
didn't
see
that.
The
mid
night
shift
need
to
be
evaluated
by
higher
management!!!
The
call
light
will
be
on
more
20
plus
minutes
and
no
one
would
bother
to
come
in
and
help.
No
one
will
come
and
reposition
him
how
they
are
supposed
every
2
hour.
Only
time
we
would
see
them
doing
their
job
is
rite
before
end
of
the
shift.
Just
to
make
sure
everything
looks
neat
and
clean
just
to
show
the
next
shift
that
they
actually
took
care
of
the
patient.
My
grandpa
needed
oral
care
and
there
would
be
time
I
would
go
find
his
lips
so
dry
and
crusty
and
he
would
have
some
much
sputum
inside
his
mouth
and
no
one
would
bother
to
even
provide
oral
care
or
even
suction
him.
Mind
you
he
was
on
vent
to
trach.
So
I
was
giving
him
oral
care
every
day.
Few
people
I
can
think
of
who
actually
gave
compassionate
care
was
the
respiratory
therapist
Moe
and
nurse
assistant
Robon.
Moe
even
offered
to
help
us
shave
my
grandpa
when
he
really
didn't
have
too.
And
the
case
worker
I
believe
her
name
is
sherry
she
wasnt
pleasant
at
all.
They
would
barely
stock
the
room
with
supplies.
There
wouldn't
be
enough
gloves,
wash
clothes,
pillows
etc.
I
had
to
take
pillows
from
home
just
so
I
can
elevate
his
arms
because
it
was
so
swollen
and
when
I
asked
them
for
pillows
the
"night
shift"
nurse
said
we
are
limited
on
pillows
like
really!!!
I
work
at
a
hospital
myself
so
I
know
that
you
can't
be
limited
on
pillows
and
even
if
you
are
there
always
other
places
you
can
go
to
and
get
a
pillow
for
your
patient
that's
when
you
want
go
above
and
beyond
but
like
I
said
midnight
shift
nurses
are
lazy
there.
I'm
not
just
saying
because
she
couldn't
find
a
pillow
for
me
but
overall
they
didn't
care
much
for
the
patients.
