Beware of this place. After paying him 350$ for 2 months he decided to try n sue me for 600$ more for non payment. He forged documents to say I signed up for a membership for 6 months. My son is 5yrs old, I enrolled him for the summer. He did enjoy the classes but due to my work schedule, him starting Kindergarten n the gym hours I wasn’t able to take him any more after Aug. I paid this man for the entire time n now he is trying to sue me!!! Please don’t waste your time or money on this Crook. I tried to support his business although his prices was far more expensive then any other place I inquired. You can go elsewhere for $50 a month with uniform included. He should be ashamed of himself. My son have been in swimming and gymnastics classes n I have Never dealt with this type of nonsense. Beware

Went in to inquire about classes for my two children ages 13 and nine. The instructor told me that my children will be able to interact with other children as well as compete in competitions. Every time that I brought my children there were no other children tonly adults. I did not feel comfortable with my young children fighting and rings and only being in classes with older adults.The instructor did not have a plan Nor any structure for the participants in the class. It seemed as though every time I brought my children he free styled and did whatever he felt like doing for the day. After these classes not being exactly as advertised he then told me after the $1600 for six months I also had to pay $1000 for the both of my children’s uniforms. This was not explained to me before coming into the class. No way am I able to pay 2600 for six months of classes For a nine and 13 year old. He wanted me to buy shoes that he stated cost almost $400. For children whose shoe size will change within the next couple of months. I feel as though he preys on single mothers and does not tell the whole truth about his class size or what is needed in order to participate in the class. I believe he should give information about the $500 per child fee for uniforms before signing up for the program. Please ask questions before enrolling your child as well as ask about the ridiculously priced uniforms.

Not to sure about all these bad reviews, what I will say is I’ve been here almost 3 years. I came in inexperienced with an attitude from hell and a whole lot of anger, coach took that and put it to use in the ring and changed my life. We had our disagreements from time to time, and sometimes I wouldn’t come back because of my crazy work schedule. He passed away from Covid late last year and it broke my heart thinking the gym was done for . Jan took over and transformed this gym into something I never thought it could be . We have a HUGE number of children doing various types of training, boxing , wrestling, jujitsu. They love it here, their parents come in and train with our weight guys while their kids learn respect, morality, and self confidence ! This place is a family , and You feel it the moment you walk through the doors. So for everybody that might be discouraged from these bad reviews please don’t be , I can’t attest to the truthfulness of any of them but I can guarantee this gym is not NEARLY what it used to be . Stop in ONE day and see for yourselves ♥️💯 much love

This guy sold gym equipment for $2200 and was paid upfront cash money. It took him two months before the equipment was available for pick up. After receiving payment he ignored me. Prior to that he promised to deliver the equipment and set it up. He was contacted daily in regards to this matter and finally he told me to pick it up at the police station. Livonia police was contacted and they advised they are not a storage unit and I should take him to court. He’s a scam artist who called me a four legged dog and garden tool. He then threatened me after multiple attempts to retrieve the items I purchased. He withheld $900 worth of my merchandise. I’m a single mom and he took advantage of me. I sent my grandad who has a vehicle large enough to accommodate the equipment but this guy yelled at him and tried to intimidate him. Stay away from this SCAM ARTIST!!!

No idea what "Jews run the world" was trying to say. But here are the facts: Grand Master Joe Dubose did pass away from covid and from that, Jan and a lot of trainers from different disciplines stepped up to keep his vision and this gym open. They all saw his care for the youth in the community and they give their all for it. I strongly urge you to go up there and see what is going on. You will be amazed and see with your eyes the great work that is going on. Here is one of many pictures of local youth helping with the training.

Today was my first day and I had a great experience with master dubose. He was just as eager to teach me as I was eager to learn. He treated me with great respect and right on day one we covered A LOT! I am looking forward to being a part of this gym and would recommend to all friends/family.

Its a great gym to bring your kids in and learn boxing the discipline and it's family friendly loving and hardworking and really helps mental if your going through something a good workout always helps

Great location, great gym with some of the best equipment I’ve seen at a gym. Master dubose is a excellent instructor and the thing i like most is that he will take you from the level you’re currently at (where ever it may be) and take you to the next level! Great environment and Master dubose will teach you the fundamentals and give you a foundation you’ll keep forever, glad i came here 🙏🏼

Great environment and they are very professional, all of their trainers are highly skilled and amazing teachers. they really prepare you to be a champion. The staff is highly trained and intelligent in both Mixed Martial Arts and Boxing! you won’t be disappointed! I highly recommend!

I have been going here for 3 weeks to see Master Dubose, I am so happy to have joined, this is real life training, I am already getting in the best shape I’ve ever been in, and over 40 is a struggle, my cardio is improving and I already feel like if I was approached on the street, that I would be able to defend myself. I did notice some reviews that were left and I must say in my opinion, they are false! When I joined Master Dubose clearly states what it would cost for 6 months, I already can see ever penny I’m spending. Also to say other staff are rude, well I have never dealt with any other staff as Master Dubose is a through leader always there, always on time and never has let me down. VERY CLEAN Place. I’m proud to go here and would highly recommend this place to anyone who is serious about learning. Thank you Master Dubose.
