Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters Detroit

Cafe Coffee shop Bakery Coffee roasters

👍 Urban little coffee house in downtown. The vibe is very laid back and relaxing. There were a variety of different flavored coffees and several pour over options and a little case of unique desserts as well for those with a sweet tooth as well. Coffee price was a little higher, but I expect that down... People often mention coffee, good, downtown, latte, shop, nice, atmosphere, great, time, staff,

If you're looking for that grunge, hipster vibe, this is def the spot. The baked goods and the coffee slap. The service is also welcoming, knowledgeable and eager. 👍🏻 One star off only because it is a pretty dirty cafe and the bathrooms are gross. Hygiene is important, even for postmodern hipsters 😅🤢

Coffee price was a little higher, but I expect that downtown. The Batista's were very kind and knowledgeable. Stronger Coffee! Definitely got rid of 3pm feeling and gave me the fuel for the rest of the day.

The people working were really nice and our coffees turned out good. They didn't have everything we usually get but still figured out how to get the job done. So thank you to the baristas for being adaptable! I love checking out new places, not 100% sure I would go back here with all the other coffee places in the area, but if you haven't been there before for sure give it a try I don't think you will regret it at all.

Dustin was an absolute delight. He was very happy to explain things I didn't understand, along with recommendations based on what I like. Here's my disclaimer -> "Their drinks made me not want a regular cup of coffee again, lol* Excellent place that adds new items constantly. Either get a cup to go or sit & enjoy in-house. You won't regret swinging on through. Now my order! Order The Phoenix $9 (Sweet & spicy, creamy & delicious spice level was at a 3-4) Came with a sugar cookie that paired well! I'd buy again! #JordTheHighestReviewer

Nice cozy coffee joint on Griswold! It had a lot of traffic in and out, which shows they're a popular business! I ordered the Peach White tea on ice, and my business partner ordered the Caramel Chai Latte. Both drinks were enjoyable! Mine was not sweet, but it wasn't bitter either! I will be visiting again to try other menu items!

Good coffee place with decent service. The venue is a bit desolate and vacant, so I wouldn't plan to spend too much time here. I enjoyed their caramel latte.

I liked the vibe here and it was a good place to get some computer work done. Drinks were not too expensive either.

This was a cute coffee spot. I’m new to the city and was looking for a quiet place to do some work, and this was it. The matcha latte I had there was one of the best I’ve had, and the cheesecake was okay. I’d definitely come back here.

Spacious coffee shop with plenty of latte flavors! They also sell some pretty cool looking t-shirts. I got a decaf rose latte and it was really good, not too sweet!

Love their pourovers. If I were staying longer I'd buy some beans. Wish they had more food options though

Got the vanilla oat-milk latte; not too bad! I’ll probably be back to try other flavored lattes. Shop could be a little more clean, but provided the coffee shops vibes we were in the mood for!

My coffee was Hot, Delicious, and right on time! I asked the barista to make me something sweet and hot and they did not disappoint!! It was my first time there and I will be back!! Very chill atmosphere also!!

We got a vanilla cappuccino which was very good and a special roasted coffee which had tangerine lychee notes in it as described and they really shined threw that's for sure.the baked goods looked amazing we didn't try anything but off looks alone I bet they were awesome. As with most coffee places they have a bagged to go area. They have a little stage area where they do open mic nights Tuesdays. Overall pretty cool vibe in the place

went here today. it was cool. probably won’t go back though. the staff was nice but nothing over the top. I got the white chocolate mocha.. it wasn’t as sweet as i would have liked. if you like the coffee flavor, this is good for you. it’s cute in there though.

I love the Dessert Oasis coffee shop in Rochester hills. This one has no special ambience to the place. I asked for a Kerouac extra hot because it's never hot enough. They didn't make it hot. By the way, the Kerouac is awesome if you get it hot enough.

This is an okay establishment. The atmosphere is quite posh. The coffee is okay. Definitely not the best in town, but if you like tasting more flavored lattes then the quality of the coffee, this is a fine establishment. If atmosphere is everything for you, this has a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a fully developed coffee that isn't under roasted, then you might want to try another spot. The staff was great with no complaints there as they answered questions to the best of their knowledge.

Cool atmosphere. Good coffee. White chocolate raspberry Cake is tasty. Baileys cake was a lil dry. Live music. I really enjoyed myself.

Love the local coffee shop. I visited this place first time. Their Green tea latte is my favorite now. Love the shop atmosphere and good place to hangout, reading, do some computer work, and chatting with your friends, etc.

I’ve been to this place a couple times when I was in downtown Detroit and I really like this place! The first time I came here I got a peanut butter cookies with a iced venti cold brew(I think that was the drink) and a chocolate chip cookie with a iced espresso which was really good. Overall I do recommend this place if you are looking for a place to get coffee or pastries in downtown detroit.

This place has a lot of nice options for coffee roasts. They don’t roast at this location but you can certainly tell they know coffee well. If you buy fresh beans you also get a free pour over. I always appreciate a nice gesture like that by any coffee shop. They also have a nice selection of fresh pastries if you’re looking for a snack. Definitely, give this place a tree if you have the chance. I am Excited to pop open my fresh bag of beans!

This is a super enjoyable environment and good coffee and food. Staff was very helpful with my wonky table as well. Check it out!

Great coffee like always. Love the rochester location. Detroit location is crying for a renovation or at least a new layout. Interior is not as cozy as rochester location

Another Detroit favorite. Try their seasonal drinks like "Sweater Weather" or "After Dark". Yum!

My favorite coffee shop downtown. The staff is amazing and very friendly, and the coffee is outstanding. Atmosphere is very welcoming with great seating.

I only passed through quickly one afternoon to pick up coffee for my partner and I. The shop has done a good job adjusting its seating to be Covid compliant. The coffee was very good; no complaints on quality or craftsmanship. I could see myself visiting post-covid to enjoy a latte and a good book. The staff were helpful and attentive, and I got the impression there was a familial bond between them, which always adds to the pleasant atmosphere for me. It lost one star for being a bit cluttered in a few areas, which distracted from the ambiance that otherwise would be very nice. Overall, looking forward to the next time I’m in the area and able to swing through!

A great cafe for a late night cup, or meetup with friends. The coffee itself is good, but not outstanding and varies in quality depending on the day or staff preparing it. The location, however, in Capitol Park is second to none with beautiful views of nearby art deco skyscrapers and only a short walk from great hotels, restaurants, theaters, and night life making it a great meet up spot.

This place is among my favorite in downtown. The vibes are simply all there whether it's coffee, desert or a plan getaway from the chaos of the city. But I sure dislike the parking. It's my only complaint that has nothing to do with the shop but it really would make like easier if parking was easier to get to..that's downtown for ya. The service here is next level. The staff knows how to put a smile on your face with top a notch menu. If you're a cheesecake buff, the raspberry one is a hot seller. Overall it's a great spot for coffee addicts.

This place is in downtown and the ambience is lit. We had dark chocolate mocha, green tea and Spinach and feta pastry. The pastry was the best!
