Stumbled on this gem on google and I was not disappointed! They have this vegan pizza that’s delicious. The coffee is just ok. There is a record shop next door and they keep the attached door open as they play records from the shop themselves. Great workspace for students or WFH individuals. Nice place to catch up with a friend. Will definitely be frequenting this place when I can.

By far the worst coffee shop experience I have ever had. The tea and coffee were atrocious, the space had horrendous vibes, and the staff were pretentious and unfriendly. Not to mention, you are not allowed to use a laptop on the weekends. Overall, I would not recommend that anyone go here, especially if you plan to have a productive weekend.

One of the operators moved me off of a small standalone table to a crowded communal table after I was already seated, but did not specify why. Somebody then took the same table, five minutes later, but was not moved. I don't understand why I was disallowed to sit at an open table, but this ruined my experience. Leek soup was very good, latte was poorly steamed and served in an oddly shaped mug, which was difficult to drink from.

Large unique open coffee space with unique pottery served specialty coffee/tea beverages and lite breakfast options. Lots of natural light and cozy decor with repurposed seating options. Also, has a stage for live performances. No wifi is the only downside. Come with hotspot if you plan to work for a few hours. Other than that. Give them a try.

Wow, this place is an entire vibe and more. My jaw dropped walking in. I don't know how I haven't ever stopped in before. The display case of food options was mesmerizing. I got an egg sandwich on the most delicious biscuit. They give you a little salad with it too! I'll be back to try out the entire menu.

This is a beautiful spacious place however they don’t have WiFi. It has so much potential because of the aesthetic and space but falls short. Definitely not a place to do work.

Great coffee and delicious baked goods. Delighted to see so many vegan options. Banana bread was killer.

always someone helpful taking my order, my food is fresh, the menu is seasonal, and an almond cardamom chai will forever be my comfort drink. idc if it’s just milk and syrup! also, the butternut squash galette cannot be missed. the only thing i would do differently is add some comfier seating. the chairs, while being perfect for the space and productivity, are a little tough to make work for reading or sticking around a while. otherwise, there’s a collection of books you can read during your time there, and the attached record shop is work a look. could definitely spend some time here.

It's a nice/ comfortable venue for smaller or niche concerts and art. Maybe not to everyone's taste but if you like jazz, noise, experimental music etc. I would recommend it. Concerts are affordable. I've seen some great performances there over the years. It's a real asset.

A place I truly enjoy just existing in. The quality of the food is fantastic and I love the interior decorating. My favorite thing to do is order an iced coffee, mushroom torte, sit by and look out the huge front windows looking onto Gratiot. A serene place to grab a coffee, pastry, relax and smell the roses!

My favorite coffee shop. Great to get work done or relax with a friend. Also have a super interesting library and special performances/events.

Love the décor and friendly service. I came here for breakfast - the breakfast sandwich for was pretty generic with too much carbs.

I was told to visit this place bc, "they are able to make vegetables savory." This is entirely true, brunch was delightful, filling, and in an environment where you could comfortably spend an hour or more. Trinosophes has a less hustled brunch vibe than other spots mostly due to just how large the space is. Mid-century modern vibes and good company make this a weekend favorite.

Great space. Yummy breakfast sandwich. The pickles are an excellent addition. The chai was perfect.
