Quiet and socially spaced seating. Kind service. Okay product. I'd love if they added light roast coffee. Decent for the area, missing the good pastries of the past. Espresso shots are not the best here, unless you like the darker Italian styles. 2019 review Best cafe in the area -for chill vibes/calm atmosphere. Great almond croissant! Pour over coffee. Espresso based drinks. Art pictures and graffiti. Many cultures of people intermingling. Good coffee brewing process. Kind staff. Good culture for the area!

Chill little spot in Hamtramck. Great iced coffee and baked good selection is nice. Deep variety of whole bean coffee as well. Really nice atmosphere to sit and work or meet in.

Some of the best coffee in Detroit area. Great and affordable cafe food. Whether it’s cafe, gallery space or patio, the ambiance is super nice and comfortable. Owner is also very friendly.

Oloman Cafe is Hamtramck’s best kept secret! I always look forward to my visits. It has a wonderful atmosphere and it’s one of my favorite places to read, write and think.

Best coffee and espresso you’ll ever have. They have a showing of art from local and international artists; you’ll enjoy every moment in here in a place with wonderful aesthetics and vibes.

I come here regularly. This is a great neighborhood place. The owner is super friendly, and the coffee is good. There is plenty of space to work or have a conversation, including some outdoor seating. And there's always a gallery of local art up on display.

Stopped by today for a quick sit down with a latte. I ordered a lavender oatmilk latte and a slice of pound cake warmed up. The latte was good, very flavorful and sweet. A bit foamy though. The pound cake was truthfully very bland, it was pretty dry and flavorless. The icing was even pretty hard to taste. The atmosphere is nice, plenty of greenery and unique nic-nacs. However, this cafe is advertised as a gallery as well. There were no paintings or photos or anything up which was disappointing. The service was great! The barista Kattia was super friendly and bubbly. She offered to warm up the pound cake, very sweet. I more than likely would only stop by again if I’m on this side of town specifically, but I probably wouldn’t make a trip for it.

Stopped and picked up a 5.00 Iced Chia Tea which I was quite disappointed in the fact that it was about 8-10 fluid ounces. But, in hindsight thank God that's all their was. About a 1/2 hour after finishing the drink I started to get VERY nauseous and had no choice but to pull over and throw up. Once I did I felt much better I fully believe that the milk in the Latte tea was either expired or just left out way to long. I tried to contact the establishment but, was repeatedly hung up on instead of answering their phone they pick it up and then hang it up. BEWARE AT RISK OF YOUR OWN HEALTH IF YOU VISIT HERE !!! I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN THATS FOR SURE.

Artsy with a European vide. A good spot to chat with friends but not outstanding to get some work done. Will be back if I’m in the area.

Very friendly service! Quiet atmosphere which is what I was looking for to sit and do some work on the computer. I enjoyed sitting by the plant display near the front window. The seats are not very comfortable though and the table was uneven but signs said not to move it - I'd suggest investing in better chairs for added comfortable and appeal. Limited drink selection but locals must love it as many came during my time to get coffee/tea drinks to go.

Came here to drink coffee and write. There are many power outlets, but the tables are not allowed to be near them, I was told this is at the owners demand. If you want to do anything more than just grab a coffee to go. This isn't the place for you.

Hours of operation update..... It sucks that I drove her excited to try a new place with great reviews only to arrive and the cafe is closed for holiday hours. It would be very helpful if at a minimum Google were notified of office hours. Sigh.....I'm off to find average coffee I guess. 😭

Great coffee. Gipsy parking in Hamtramck. Received a parking ticket by mail for being in a spot for 10 minutes to get a coffee, and without ANY signage. That’s poor city responsibility. Hate for anyone else to experience their cheap and ignorant policies…

Ordered a Small latte and a sandwich and was not disappointed. The coffee tasted great (not the weird burnt flavor you get from some coffee spots that heat it up a little too much). The sandwich was made in the morning and def tasted fresh af (and i'm very critical of pesto) Will be coming back for sure. Music playlist was a little too low energy for me, but I don't really mind that.
