The rose cardamom latte is delicious! And sandwiches can be converted to bowls. Lots of seating. Super friendly staff.

Coffee is great 😊 but almond croissants 🥐 are above and beyond! Super delicious 🤤 they warmed it up just perfect Service was nice friendly and fast. Interior is spacious with a lot of seats, tables, couches. Everything is super busy, lots of people working behind their laptops 👩🏻‍💻 Atmosphere is great and relaxed. Will be coming back.

This was a nice find. We needed to while away some time and looked up coffee shops and found this one. No problem finding parking and the place itself is large and well laid out. The coffees and foods offered reminded us of European shops we've been to. Coffee was good and pastries were first rate.

I stopped by Atomic Coffee yesterday and had the pleasure of meeting Jeff & Ronain. Both of them were very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and informative. They both had some great suggestions to help me select a few things to try. We enjoyed some playful banter, and Jeff and I even got lost in some exciting conversation about our passion for coffee and art. I tried an iced coffee, the Almond croissant, the Cinnamon roll, and the clementine macaroon. I enjoyed all of them equally. I even purchased 2 bags of beans. I visited a few other coffee places in the area, and Atomic Coffee is definitely my favorite. Not just because of the tasty coffee & pastries, but especially for the welcoming authentic nature of the staff.

I stopped it as I’m on a business trip to pick up a carafe of coffee. I can say with confidentiality I didn’t walk out with a carafe. I arrived, and it was mostly empty. Maybe 10 people if that. I walked in see photos, and asked if they had carafe. The girl said yes, but she can’t do one for me because I needed to call ahead.. but if I want to in the future I can pay 20 if that’s okay. I looked oddly because if I’m looking for a carafe I know I’m going to have To pay for it. I said okay. Could I get one. She said no they need notice. Now I look around it’s Pretty much empty. I’ve ordered carafes plenty of times in the past from other places with the understanding it takes about 15-20 min. Had she said that I would be okay. If it was busy and said they didn’t have time, okay. Fact she said a day an a half notice I fell over. I said okay thank you and walked out. I walked in and they were even standing around.. Had they said sure, I would have ordered more besides coffee, but I won’t be back here. Snotty and lack of customer service. Really disappointed in a local place I was trying to support.

I’ve been here a couple times, decided to try the seasonal lucky charms latte and croissant today. Honestly, not my favorite cafe experience. The latte is pretty good, very sweet. The croissant wasn’t bad, it was a bit stale but perhaps it’d be better warmed up. The atmosphere is very modern and college-student vibes, definitely my favorite part. The service was mediocre, nothing special or unique. Overall, I may stop by from time to time if I’m nearby, but more than likely won’t make a trip specifically for it.

After all these years, it’s still a solid place to go. But I remember it used to be better, especially the service quality. The items are also a bit over priced.

A friend of mine had asked for water before sitting down. Natalie who is the supervisor had aggressively and very loudly told him “If you want to sit here you have to buy a beverage” we were literally going to order our beverages after getting settled into our seats like we always do. He responded and acknowledged her. He then minutes after he went to let the employee know that he felt as if she was rude and disrespectful to him. She wasn’t available at the counter so he told whoever was available. She then rushed to our table and said “That is the policy sir. And that was very unprofessional of YOU to not come to me personally if you had a problem with me” she continued to say “If you don’t agree with the policy you can leave” and pointed to the door. Neither him or I had a problem with the policy whatsoever. Nor really had a problem with her personally. We had an issue with the way she handled this situation. It felt as if she was wanting to fight with us. There were a lot of other customers who acknowledge with us after that she had crossed the line. Very awkward. He go there every other day to study and always give them our business. As regular customers, we should have not been treated that way. We will not be coming back and will be sure to share our experience with friends and family so they can potentially avoid what we went through today.

This is a relaxed coffee shop. Clean, professional presentation that seems formal at first, but one quickly realizes that there is no hurry to leave, and you are in fact welcome to stay(even take time to read). The menu is well designed, and posted on the wall. The staff is on their game, and comfortably avant guard. In my humble opinion, the price point is spot on for their product. I look forward to visiting again.

By far my favorite coffee shop in the whole world. Austin does a phenomenal job running this place. The staff is cool and the drinks are great. Clean and spacious shop perfect for a coffee date or to bring your laptop and get some work done. Food items are also very delicious. I just wish they had a vegan menu option. 5 stars.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Atomic Coffee and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The highlight of my visit was definitely their Cardamom Rose Latte. It had the perfect blend of flavors, with the aromatic cardamom and delicate rose essence creating a truly enjoyable taste. Atomic Coffee offers a great seating arrangement that caters to different needs. Whether you're looking to work on your computer in a focused environment or have a cozy conversation with friends, they have you covered. They have ample seating options, from comfortable couches for relaxed conversations to dedicated workstations for those needing a productive space. Overall, I highly recommend Atomic Coffee to anyone in search of a wonderful coffee experience. Their Cardamom Rose Latte is a must-try, and their seating options make it a versatile spot for both work and socializing. Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while engaging in your preferred activity at Atomic Coffee.

Great coffee & service and friendly staff. Needs more electrical plugs though. Try the honey vanilla latte and any of the food. You won’t be disappointed. If you’re in town and want a fancy coffee shop that doesn’t break the bank, this is it.

Overrated. They’re a nice spot without a ton of competition so I understand the love they get. But their prices are pretty outrageous. A latte, cold brew, and 2 croissants just cost me $24. Also, their menu that hangs above the check out area is less than effective. It has 0 description of their drinks, many of which are just called “something bear”. How am I supposed to know what a King Kong cold brew is? Dessert oasis down the street is just as good with more fair prices.

A really great coffee shop in Royal Oak. Modern, chill, and good coffee. The location is convenient and easy to find. In winter, it's great to sit inside and just enjoy the street view. They also have a variety of pastry items and food.

Cutest cup of coffee I’ve ever had. Tasted great. Had the croissant and it was kinda burnt but didn’t taste that bad.

It was my first time visiting Atomic. Their kitchen closes at 2pm, so their only menu after 2pm is pastries and drinks. I got the ham croissant and a latte. The croissant was definitely stale and unsatisfying. I dined in and noticed that they gave me my order in disposable cups and paper, but other dine in customers were given real dishware. I would have also liked the more sustainable option of washable dishware, but wasn't offered the option.

A niche service that isn't easily found around Metro Detroit: all-day (7am-10pm) all-week versatile cafe space, with a satisfying variety of food and beverage offerings, and a satisfactory (but not ideal) quality of design. I compare this to one other cafe that is centered around working and studying; Atomic boasts a much nicer vibe and higher quality furniture, but a smaller (yet satisfactory) menu. If there are updates I would crave: - more electric outlets/power strips. - add seats with arm-rests to relieve shoulder strain.

Atomic Coffee is my number 1 spot in Royal Oak! Not only do they have amazing coffee, but the service is always amazing. It's a great spot to post up and do some work, read, or catch up with a friend. It's very spacious and always very clean :) P.s. the honey vanilla late is my favorite!

Been here a few times and they are consistently good, especially their lattes. My favorite is the cardamom rose latte; not too sweet and not overly floral, either. Just the right balance. Their prices are a bit steep (spent almost $20 on a 12 oz latte and a bagel sandwich), but the quality does not disappoint. Can’t comment much on the dine in experience as I’ve always ordered to go, but they have a lot of seating and I always see people studying here. Would recommend.

Interesting mix of cosy corners and work-style desks, certainly enough space to not feel rushed. The coffee roasts are certainly on the darker / stronger side, which mod not be everybody's cup of coffee.

Great place to get coffee and a bite. Quiet... was able to get some work done as I enjoyed a well made latte. I actually had 2. The honey vanilla was so good (I did order a less sweet version) Will be back next time I am in the Detroit area

Really good coffee, food and excellent service. I had a large order and everything came out pretty quickly and was all delicious. The place is very nice as well. It has some small seating areas to work by yourself on your laptop and some larger areas that a group could sit. The exterior windows completely open onto the street as well.
