Karak tea and bun was Awezummmmm, nuts with Nutella bun was at next Level taste. Best referral would be cloud bun and iCloud for strawberry lovers

Loved this little new place in Farmington. The specialty tea (Karak Tea) and original bun tasted amazing. I'll have to try their specialty buns next time. Decor and service was also great!

This was my first time at papparoti and I absolutloved their bun. I had ordered the bun and karak chai combo and one small horlicks. The bun was freshly made and it tasted out of the world. The bun was really unique, the outer layer being almost biscuit like and the inner soft textured bun. You can tap the top if the bun and it crumbles. I have read amazing reviews on the tea but I felt the masalas in the tea was a bit overpowering. The horlicks tasted amazing. I would definitely be back to try their Nutella bun.

I ate the buns of this brand seen long time ago when I was in Vietnam. After I moved to America, I was always love to enjoy it but there was no location around me have this cake. Until 2 month ago I seen one was opening up in Farmington, i was so happy. I tried yesterday, and it tasted like the one I enjoyed before. Love it. This cake always takes long time to make and it worth a penny you spend.

Their Buns are just delicious, there is a bun for every kind of person here. The chai is good, they have good options of coffee and tea. The bun goes well with both the tea and coffee.

Different from your typical American coffee shop because it is Malaysian. Beside coffee they have tea and horlicks, also coffee buns. If you never tried it before, staff is always eager to help and explain the menu to you, so you have nothing to worry about. Coffee buns, is a perfect circle that has a shell on the outside but soft on the inside. But it is nothing to rave about.

The interior was cozy with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the Monalisa and the presentation was incredibly beautiful! It tastes just as wonderful as it looks and I would highly recommend going!

Nice little place. I ordered the simple bun and a mango yogurt smoothie. The gentleman who was helping me said he had no yogurt so just made me a mango smoothie. The bun was light and soft. The bun had a aroma of sweet maple. The inside was light, airy and buttery.

Nice place to get some karak chai and the taste is very close to the original Indian chai. I really like their signature bun as well, it’s a nice combination with the chai.

This place is small but nice and their buns are so special and tasty. You will never find any other place serving the same buns in Michigan! We ordered Oreo buns and berry delight, with a caramel macchiato. The buns were delicious and have a special smell that makes you feel warm like home-baked. We went there early morning for breakfast and I didn’t expect to see many people there already, the place is very clean and there was one waiter who was taking the orders from the cashier and preparing them, he was very kind and friendly. Took our order and told us it will be ready in 10 minutes, 10 minutes exactly and we got our order. The Oreo buns were full of chocolate sauce, and Oreo crumbs and the vanilla ice cream was served on the side in a waffle bowl it was a balanced mix of the taste of the chocolate with the fluffy buns something so yummy 😋 If you don’t like the too-sweet taste so you can take it with espresso or Americano it will be balanced 👌 Then the berry delight, and this will be my favorite on their menu. It’s the signature bun with strawberry and strawberry sauce topped with almonds and white chocolate crumbs. It’s the perfect mixture of all of these things together. The caramel macchiato was tasty, fluffy, and not too sweet but you can smell the caramel when you drink it ☕️ Recommend this place for quiet time, Morning coffee to have a good time. I wish they grow this small business to be one of the big coffee places one day .

My first Malaysian coffee bun and tea were brought to me as a gift at work, on my birthday, and I fell in love. It was a plain bun. A week later, I took my hubby, and we tried the cheese and honey buns and loved them. He wasn't a fan of the tea, so I had his, too! It reminded me of the time I spent in India -- specifically of the Chai I had in Jaipur, but without the milk skin! 🤣 I will definitely be back.

Delicious deserts I came for the ice cream and left with so much more. The staff is super nice. This entire business even smells delicious. There is a place to sit and dine and it's usually pretty empty when I go so it's a chill spot to also grab a coffee and read/ study. I am always dropping off packages a few doors down so I come here often. It's like a reward. In my pictures, I included a pic of the menu and some pictures of the desserts. Visit and try some dessert!!

I absolutely enjoyed Karak Tea ☕ and Bun at this place. We tried a variety of buns and the kids loved them all. This location is small and solved table puzzle to make our large group sit. I am also excited that they are opening a couple of locations in the Dallas area and would love to go once opened.

I got the Karak Tea with Ferrero Rocher Bun. I'll be generous and round up to a 4, but it's more of a 3.5. Here's why: Service is great, so I won't knock them there. The buns were a bit of a disappointment though. I guess I was expecting them to be sweeter inside? But they look nice, at the least. The interior was pretty messy and felt cluttered/disorganized. I'd give it a try if you're into cafes though, it might just not be for me. :)

First time here, and it was delicious! Got an original bun, and An Early Tweet Bun. The guy working was extremely nice. Asked if my boyfriend and I wanted a third one. Could not do any more! The bun is so soft on the inside, and a sweet exterior crust. Perfect pair with a hot beverage!

The original bun is amazing! Good for dipping in your coffee or chai(tea). Tea options are limited and seating can be tight if it's busy. There is limited outdoor seating(1 two person table).

Being Indian I can identify the taste of perfect chai. As far as I know this is the best place for chai you will find in Michigan. Karak chai is the must. Only improvement I would suggest is, the hours of operation of the cafe. It opens after 11 am or 12 pm on weekends. People who love the chai they love to drink it in the morning specially on weekends. That’s a disappointment the cafe opens at noon when the time is for the lunch. At least on weekends it would be great if they open around 9 am.

This is the highest level you can take the BUNS to ⚡️ No matter how old you’ve been eating buns or how old have been the place you’ve been eating them from… @papparotius has given Buns the next level respect & quality right in these present times, nothing is a fairy tale or the story of gone days 🙌🏼 Baked freshly to achieve the perfect level of softness & texture. Neither entire Bun is soft nor the rock, it’s a gradient of crispier top to the mouth melting soft base.

We got the signature bun with a topping (salted caramel) and a cup of Horlicks milk (Thinking it will the same as the Indian asian version). The bun was amazing, it was freshly baked, slightly crispy and buttery. A must try if you visit here. The other bun varieties also look tempting and maybe something to try on our next visit. The Horlicks milk is better avoided as it was really bland and milk was really skim. Based on the reviews Karak chai seems like a favorite in the drinks here. A good place to visit and try some buns!

Signature buns are their main highlight, it’s must try. You might have never tried something like that before, it is sweet, buttery fresh out of the oven which melts in your mouth. They also have tea and coffee options to try. You should definitely check this place out if you haven’t yet.

Great coffee shop in neighborhood. Their bun is great with coffee or tea. The bum is like a soft and not too sweet. The shop is very clean and good place for just relaxing or hanging out with your friends and family, etc.

Review from last weekend, Jan 21st. Unfortunately I had high expectations after visiting PappaRoti location in Vancouver (Canada). This location is relatively small, with a limited menu, and inconvenient seating options. We ordered a Kaya bun - that was great as usual, but the Mediterranean bun was a bit of a letdown. We paired it with an order of herbal mint tea (but they served an oolong tea bag for some reason), and karak chai - that was thankfully refreshing and as advertised. That said, it is a good place to drop by and grab a bite if you have tried all other options in the area. Personally, I might not return for another taste at PappaRoti.

This is indeed the place where one can get the best tea in Michigan. I am so fond of this place and the staff. The Karak tea is my favorite. One should try the signature bun here. The bun is soft, flaky and buttery and it's really tastes good with the chai or tea. Besides the normal bun, there are variety of buns that one can eat. I have been trying all of their buns. As of this moment Mona Lisa is the best bun . AndI have been here frequently and never had a bad experience.

It’s a must try place for some hot tea ( Karan chai ) and buns. The buns are super delicious. They come with different fillings and flavors . I usually get their signature bun with chai. The buns are freshly baked, slightly crispy and has a butter filling.

I used to have Paparoti in Dubai couple of years ago, now finally I tasted it here. It was ok, not like Dubai, my bun was not warm enough and it was missing that original aroma and flavor. Turkish cofee was good though! They need to expand it, the seating area is quite compact, open another branch somewhere else in Michigan.

My kids and I loved their coffee buns just plain. They were so good. Nothing like we’ve ever had before. Very good coffee very good buns 😊 they were very fresh nice and warm. The butter was melted and it didn’t even need the extras. Was just the right amount of sweet and buttery and moisture was perfect. Loved it. Could have had at least 10 of them if not more. Good thing I only got a few. They were yum!!

This place is like heaven. Everything in this place is delicious. I couldn't stop ordering and ordering over and over again. The buns are a delicious desert. The milkshake is delicious. They are made with fresh fruits. The whipped cream that you can have it on the buns is home made. If you will taste something from here you will become addicted for life. I love food and this place is one of my top favorites. The staff is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend!

I always enjoy trying new bakeries, but this place turned out to be such a hit! First of all, it's Malaysian chain that has 450 stores worldwide. How lucky we are that the first US store was open here in Michigan! Second, Malaysian buns are just divine! I love their signature Karak tea with cardamon, and my daughter enjoys new flavor of buns every time we come here

  • 4/5 Mohammad P. 3 years ago on Google

  • 5/5 Iris J. 3 years ago on Google
I cannot say enough about this place! I was in town from Houston to take care of my mother in Farmington Hills and my sweet tooth flared up....after a Google search, I was led here. I went three consecutive days and became an instant fan! Yosif was very patient with me and explained (OVER THE PHONE) how the bun was made....he had me when he said BUTTER!! It is light, not too sweet at all, and the perfect pastry when you don't want to overindulge. You MUST try the Karak Tea....I've never quite experienced anything like it....especially in TEXAS! LOL!! Day Two did not disappoint and this time I was waited on by "K," equally as nice and helpful. The buns come with several toppings but I liked mine plain. Day Three was the same, which says "consistency." Please, please, please, give PappaRoti a try. Like the other person said, how lucky are you all to have the only franchise in the U.S. right there in good ole Farmington Hills. I'll be back again and again and again. Continued success to you Yosif and "K." (Iris Jackson)

Nice place. A little expensive. Buns and tea is a good combination. Tea taste took me back to India. We tried different varieties of bun. Base bun looks/tastes almost same. Its the decoration on top that makes it taste different. They have combos which might bring the bill a little down.
