Pretty neat place, things are pretty organized, and awesome selection of books. HOWEVER, not once was I approached by a staff member to ask if I needed help finding anything. I even asked one of the staff members for help and recommendations and she said she would help me, then just disappeared. Today was my first time coming here, I thought staff would be more attentive to their costumers. This is such a huge place, there should either be more staff to help costumers or better protocols with dealing with costumers that need help or have questions… probably will visit again for the selection of books though. All though, the girl at the cash register was nice when I came up to Pay other than that, hopefully more responsive staff next time.

Amazing store filled with lots of wonderful books, movies, games, music, and more! It is very clean inside and there are lots of employees to help you out. No matter what your favorite genre is, they have it! Even if they don't they will order it for you and ship it to the store! They even have a cafe in there as well if you happen to get hungry and the aroma fills the entire store making it smell good.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we easily found what we were looking for and what we didn't but just had to buy!! They even have a little cafe where you can buy Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate, among their other wide range of teas, and drinks. We had a lovely time.

Awesome place to relax and sip on some hot caramel latte and a warmed up oatmeal raisin cookie while reading a good book, taking in the ambiance. I use to work at a Bookstore, I was in my element surrounded with all of kinds of knowledge in between pages and pages of books and music section... I also love the fun knick knacks... Barnes & Nobles is its own Adventure away from home.

I'm a little biased, bevause B&N is my happy place. I walk in, inhale and a calmness washes over me. They usually have a book you're looking for, the game section is amazing and the Book Annex is a decent size.

Oh I love this place!! They always have the books I need and didn't know I wanted. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Don't shop online. You must go to the store and visit the cafe!!

This is my happy place a place to escape the world and immerse myself into another. A world of knowledge of smell and of pure imagination. The world of reading and books. This store always makes me happy. The staff are always merry and polite.

Jessica is amazing! Spent the morning trying to track something down. Finally thought to call Barnes. She took the time to help us find it and absolutely made my day! I think in this day and age when online purchases reign supreme, we forget how important local book sellers are to maintaining our erudite society.

I was amazed when I walk inside they have a great selection for all genres plus more they have a area for children full of books about learning toys as well you could get some Christmas shopping done for the right people here they also have a membership I would definitely say take advantage but don't just take my word for it please go by and see for yourself also you cannot forget the cafe why not have a latte cappuccino or coffee while you read or a little snack from their Cafe.

After visiting this Barnes & Noble many times, today was not a good experience. I did a online order for a store pick up. One of the books that one of their associates chose had a damaged spine. When I tried to exchange it they tried to charge me the difference. I just got a refund because it defeated the purpose of me ordering definitely since their employee chose a book that should have been damaged out. This was my first and last time doing this. I'll be purchasing all my books on Amazon.

I could get lost in this store for hours if life wasn't so busy. The hardest choice is deciding which books to buy. If they don't have the one you're looking for, they will order it. Definitely will be returning. I love books!!!

They’ve reorganized the showroom at this location but still east to find everything. The staff members are so knowledgeable and love what they do. The entire time I was there I could hear the associates not only guiding customers to their destinations but also encouraging them to read other novels in their favorite genres. They’re not only helping you find books but also helping you find growth and that is impressive to me. I recommend the store on the Hill in Allen park for your next purchase!

The customer service was excellent. I found the exact book I was looking for and it was on sale for 50% off. There were plenty of deals and every genre you can imagine was available to browse. I'll definitely be going back.

I'm amazed that it's still open in this online world, but was excited to go in. Huge selection, clean store, VERY helpful and pleasant workers. Found two books on WWII battles that a veteran family member asked for. Again, amazed they had them in the store. I loved the shopping experience I had there!

Got a massive level of help from the help desk, so many fantastic books to choose from! Absolutely love the place, even though the parking is a little weird, it is one of the better locations that Barnes has around the Detroit area

Forever a lover of books. Barnes and Noble makes it easy to find what you are looking for. The customer support staff was incredibly helpful in switching my account from a teacher membership to a premium account.

I love this store and I have been purchasing books for years. There is a nice open space to walk the aisles. There is a large selection of all kinds of books. Also, there is a wonderful section for children's books. I especially like the area close to the front of the store that features the latest cookbooks and magazines

I mean, Barnes and Noble is exPENNY, don't get me WRONG- but they also have a very nice selection of books. I really love their faux leather classics series (pictured below- also I've recently seen them in the book annex, so if you're interested, I recommend heading over fast). They have some GORGEOUS lord of the ring copies, and if you're a baby manga fan, you'll probably find what you're looking for here. No comment on customer service- everyone has been nice when I've talked to them, but I try to avoid doing that as much as possible because it stresses me out haha. They pretty much leave you alone, which I really appreciate. Nothing worse than someone constantly coming up to you to see how you're doing. B&N also has exclusive copies of The Adventure Zone which come with little trading cards! I think they are very cute :)

I wish their coin book selection was broader. I only go there for specific things and they don't usually have what I'm looking for. High priced but that doesn't stop me from dropping 90 bucks on stuff I only sort of need. Excellent quality puzzles but expensive. Take this with a grain of salt because I'm not a big reader so my opinion is moot.

always love a trip to this store, but today was exceptional thanks to Justin at the checkout. Positive, professional, and so delightful my only disappointment was in having to end our transaction and leave the store. i sincerely hope his supervisors acknowledge and appreciate the value of exceptional retail team members, through actual wage increases, benefits and opportunities for significant advancement.

This place is always my go to when I'm in the area. It's always clean, and they have a huge selection of literature. The gentleman at the register with the glasses was also very kind, and he seemed to enjoy his job.

I’ve been going to this Barnes & Noble since I was a kid and still continue to go. The staff is always nice and helpful, their store is always well kept and I just enjoy the atmosphere there. I was able to find a couple new books I enjoy!

Standard Barns and Noble. I was looking for a paperback version of the Blood and Ash series, but they only carried the hard covers. Also looked for some Legend of Drizzt books, but they only had a few. But if you want the newest titles and don't care what cover it has, then they probably have it. I went ahead and ordered my books from a locally owned store and got them within a few days. They also have a small assortment of Lego sets.

This bookstore is clean and well-organized. They have a wonderfully diverse book selection. The customer service desk is incredibly helpful. They will find their in-stock books for you, and they will happily order the ones they don't. Those that they order arrive within a couple of days. They also have a new loyalty program that allows you to earn stamps and $5 coupons.

What better place to take the kids? Not only was it filled with people but also every book was in stock and easily found. The staff were great, nice cafe and a pretty decent crowd. While I miss Borders this will do.

Although a little pricey, I love this bookstore; you can find some bargains on some fun and interesting books

The staff were extremely helpful. They can look up, and order, almost any book you may be looking for, if it's not on their shelves already. And there is a small "cafe" area inside where you can eat or get a quick coffee or something else to enjoy. They are wheelchair accessible and masks are optional at this time. Rick Zorn

Don't know the woman's name, but she provided great customer service when we couldn't find it on the shelf or in the backroom. She kept looking and found it behind the checkouts. Like I said, I don't know her name but she was at the service desk in the middle of the store.

I have to preface this review with the fact that I love books. I bring the 11 year old and her friends here frequently and it is always a pleasant experience. The staff is incredibly helpful and the facility is always clean and neat. Thank you for providing such an excellent place to go.

Great place to go if looking for a book of any kind. They have such a wide selection you should be able to find a book for any interest. I’d be surprised if not but to be honest not really the biggest reader. Actually stopped here because they also have a Starbucks and we were right next door. So not only can you stop in for a good read but grab some good ol coffee while your at it!

one of the workers was very nice. she helped me when i couldn't find something on the shelves. i don't know her name but she was very helpful and had a great attitude. great customer service. the reason that it's not 5 stars is because the wait at checkout was super long. a long line and only one cashier. they need more people working the register. because it took too long just to buy one book.

Can't beat holding and reading a physical copy of a book and this place has LOTS to choose from. Also shop BBC shows on dvds too. Fun atmosphere.

So many Books and subjects to choose from , I was in the hobby area right next to travel books also had a Starbucks cafe with lots of scrumptious choices ,could have spent a large portion of the day deciding what books to buy.!

Very nice and clean store but the inventory counts on items online but "in stock" always seem to be a mess, I've just learned to go on the website and reserve it instead of paying for pick up because every time I try they can't find the item and I have to wait for my moneys to come back.
