One
of
the
few
upsides
of
sending
my
children
to
a
DPS
is
the
experience
they've
had
in
visiting
the
Detroit
Children's
Museum.
It's
a
lovely
quaint
little
space
where
children
can
play
and
explore.
They
were
presented
with
an
education
on
leaves
and
left
in
hand
with
an
art
project.
The
staff
was
friendly
and
accommodating
and
seemed
to
really
enjoy
their
positions
of
cultivating
the
curiosity
of
our
youth.
As
others
have
stated
it
is
only
open
to,
ehem,
Detroit's
Children,
and
nothing
on
their
website
should
lead
you
to
believe
otherwise.
It's
nice
that
DPS
has
this
space
exclusively
for
their
children,
especially
in
a
time
where
kids
of
Detroit
seem
to
be
excluded
from
so
many
places
in
the
tri-county
area
by
way
of
cost
and
even
the
general
hospitality
usually
extended
to
those
who
have
to
travel
to
give
their
kids
such
experiences.
My
only
gripe
would
be
not
having
perhaps
special
days
maybe
once
or
twice
a
month
where
DPS
parents
could
visit
with
their
children-
I'd
be
willing
to
even
pay
a
small
fee
for
that.
Hands
down
a
good
experience
