👍👍 This is a small but very well done area within the Charles Wright Museum. Lots of information presented in an easy to understand way. Interesting artifacts and even a Morgan Freeman narration!

The Tuskegee Airmen National Museum has moved. It is now located within The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, 315 East Warren Avenue in Detroit Michigan (48201).

This place is a hidden gem. It is a modern well-funded tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen. The tour guide was highly informed and entertaining. A $5 donation is requested.

I was a little confused at first, since we were looking for this exhibit thinking it was it's own building, but it's part of the Charles H. Wright Museum, which was a great find! We loved this exhibit and the others within the museum. Well worth the money if you're visiting the other exhibits too.

Great to visit such historical sites, too bad its beyond help and decaying to dust. This place needs help in restoring these historical buildings or taking better care of.

The museum is located right next to the airfield. It really sets the mood as you hear planes coming and going. The museum has 2 sheds and tons of content to see. There is a video in the theater that runs on the hour and there are also video booths that you can sit in and watch different videos on the airmen. There is also a gift store that has hats, shirts, patches, books and all kinds of collector items.

Please update your website. I am a visitor and was told to make a reservation online but there is no where to actually do this.
