Incredibly fascinating place. They don't have many cars in the musuem, the musuem is mainly about the people that changed the auto industry. You can get a free guided tour that's about a hour long and if you can get it, I would highly recommend it.

A fantastic gem for those who love all things automotive. Great historic details and background on the giants who built the industry, and those who lead it today. Well worth the visit!

As they say when you walk in the door; this is not an auto museum. It certainly isn't. It is in fact a marginally maintained "hall of fame" with many displays in need of maintenance or outright repair, missing items and most of it's most notable displays on loan from the Henry Ford next door. For the low entry fee it's not a bad value and you can find enough to do to make up for the small size. I can't imagine it would be very good for children.

If You are an automotive fan and wish to know a little more about the people's dedication to industry please visit this place. Unfortunately, I had a very short time to read everything but this is an important check point for me as automotive engineer

We went for free. Got my monies worth. I love cars but this is not my cup of tea. As others have stated it is a person museum not an automotive museum.

This is a good place to stop and learn about the people that made modern automotive transportation possible. The staff was extremely friendly and will tell you its not a car museum. It a great place if you like reading the signs. I wouldn't recommend this for small children. I had a couple extra hours to burn and this was well worth it for me. There were only a few cars in the museum. I was able to see most of it in two hours.

A great experience for the automotive industry lover! There's so much information about the "behind the scenes" people that I never realized. Did you know the inventor of the cruise control was blind?? A very informative look at the industry for someone either in or going into the business.

If you're any age or level of automotive enthusiasm, the Automotive Hall of Fame is a must see. The entry fee is cheap, and the entire presentation is absolutely beautiful. Our docent was named Tony Cafaro, and he was a true professional. Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable. He literally took time to make sure we understood everything we looked at. People like that are hard to come by, and it added to our enjoyment. I would recommend visiting the Hall of Fame if you're anywhere near there. You won't be disappointed!

I just wanna say that more people should visit this awesome informative place.... No it's not filled with cars (tho there are some cars and other early motorized transportation pieces on display), but it's filled with awesome history and information that is of value to anyone who's into anything in the automotive industry, hobbyists especially.... The stories of where all these big names started was very intriguing... The staff was also super friendly and i could tell the gentleman that got us started is very passionate and i love that! Thanks for a great time!

Not associated with The Henry Ford and not a car musuem. Interesting, just the same and is dedicated to the people who shaped the automotive industry.

We were told its not necessarily a car focused hall, as much as they focus on the people who have innovated the automotive industry. Very small but; filled with interesting knowledge on the auto makers.

First time visiting very interesting would highly recommend. The lady that we purchased our tickets from at the main entrance was extremely informative and helpful made for such a nice experience. They are not opened every day, so check their website to make sure they’re open on the day you’re planning to go. Another added bonus was free EV charging at the front.

Absolutely wonderful! Four generations of our family (ages 12- 90) enjoyed the personal tour today. Both my son and my grandfather could not stop talking about what they learned- the innovative men and women who have influenced transportation and our world today. As mentioned, there are not many cars to see, but we did not care. We learned so much more than we thought we would. Excellent experience. Thank you for making this a memorable day for our family! Loved it!

It was a very informative museum recommended for adults. It will satisfy the car enthusiasts as it is about the history of automotive in general.

I drove 39 miles to go to the Automotive Hall of Fame. I checked the website for hours before I left. It said they were open Thursdays between 10-6. On Thursday 12/29/22 I arrived at 10:30 and they were not open. I called the number from the front window and no one would answer. The front window had the same hours as the website. Luckily the Henry Ford Musem was open and my drive was not a waste, although my son, daughter and I had been looking forward to seeing the Hall of Fame Museum. When we left Henry Ford around 2PM the Hall of Fame was open but we were out of time. I will not make this drive again unless I have tickets in hand and I know someone will be there to open the door. Very disappointed.

👍👍 This factory tour is about 2 hours long and is very well worth it. We first took their bus from the Museum Visitor Center to the factory complex, which is humongous.
