Small and cozy with an amazing collection of WW2 military equipment. Took a couple scouts to work on Military Heritage badge. They walked away after talking to a retired soldier the importance of making peace and seeking peaceful solutions. They say no knows or understand why to avoid war more than an old soldier. Great lesson for a couple of teenage boys. Take your kids to this place, well worth it.

So much history here. I little known gem in the area. I will be visiting again. Was there for RRiveter film what great 1 1/2 hour. Need to sell tickets many think donation means free. If not supported locally it wont be around long. At least pay entrance fee other museums have them. Well worth visiting to see what they have and remember donations of all types appreciated.

Alysa and I have visited this museum many times, and there is always something new to learn and discover. Today we visited for a Labor Day ringing of bells for the Rosies. There were seven original Rosies in attendance, and a chapter is now run out of the museum. Anyone interested in learning about the military in Michigan, Eastpointe's NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger, or observing artifacts from many different wars, will enjoy this museum. It's a great destination in Eastpointe and I'm happy they are a part of the community.

A cute little museum focusing on military history concerning Michigan, including those that served, Michigan manufacturing, and the civilian defense services. A beautifully curated collection displayed well. Definitely worth the visit if you are interested in Michigan history.

This Museum is a great gem in southeastern Michigan. It tells the great story of the Arsenal of Democracy in Detroit. Chris shows us the best of the Wars and you wouldn't be disappointed. As a member, you will see the many guest speakers who come to this great museum. They even have a Rosie the Riveter display. Please visit them.

Smaller museum but one of my favorites ive been to in Michigan. They really helped me out by introducing me to two different passport guides for museums to get stamps on, and im very grateful for that!

Was shocked at this place, didn't honestly expect much just because it is a smaller building but they've managed to get a lot in there, also a nice touch with a lot of emphasizing on what Michigan did for different war efforts.

My Pastor held a memorial day service there to remember all the vets . It was short but phenomenal. Very heartfelt. The facility was awesome. I had no idea this place existed. Phenomenal displays, and it really makes you more grateful for the Veterans that served our Country. It is not huge, but it has a great deal of history there. Definitely worth seeing. It is civilian ran and no public dollars. They have done an amazing job.

This is my precinct voting branch. I also enjoy looking at the military memorabilia being retired military. Sorry to hear that it's closing down. Seems like anything traditional is dismantled over time, like we don't care because it doesn't give instant gratification or notariety because it praises someone else.

I donated many items from my uncle's there. I was amazed at the history. God bless bless the museum. So accommodating and beautiful displays. God bless America and our freedom.

It's kind of a smaller museum but it highlights subjects that most other museums don't. The exhibits on gold star families and Rosie the Riveter are awesome.
