πŸ‘πŸ‘ Wonderful neighborhood park on the river. Fishing, families and fun! People are friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Other than the invading geese that can plague the river front with their leftovers πŸ˜† this is a really nice hidden gem. "I can see Canada from my house." You can see Canada from this park; it's right across the river on the south side. Park is large, clean, and filled with geese. Large trees make for good oxygen. 5/5 would take my dog to poop there again.

Alfred Brush Ford Park - A Picturesque Riverside Retreat Alfred Brush Ford Park, located at the top of the Detroit River, is a hidden gem that offers a truly picturesque and serene experience. I recently visited this park and was captivated by its excellent views, abundance of picnic areas, and convenient fishing access. One of the standout features of Alfred Brush Ford Park is its breathtaking views. From various vantage points within the park, visitors are treated to panoramic vistas of the Detroit River. The sight of the river's gentle currents, complemented by the surrounding natural beauty, creates a tranquil ambiance that is perfect for relaxation and contemplation. The park boasts plenty of well-maintained picnic areas, providing ample space for families and friends to gather and enjoy a leisurely meal. The availability of picnic tables and shelters ensures a comfortable and convenient experience. It's a wonderful place to savor a delicious meal while basking in the beauty of the river and the park's surroundings. For those seeking a moment of solitude, Alfred Brush Ford Park offers benches strategically placed to overlook the river. These serene spots provide the perfect opportunity to sit back, unwind, and take in the scenic views. However, it is worth noting that while some of the benches were in good condition, a few could benefit from repair to ensure a more comfortable experience for visitors. Fishing enthusiasts will be pleased to find that the park offers plenty of accessible spots along the riverbank. Whether you're an experienced angler or simply want to try your hand at casting a line, the fishing access provided by Alfred Brush Ford Park allows you to enjoy the tranquil sport amidst a beautiful natural setting. The convenience and variety of fishing spots make it a popular destination for those looking to reel in their next catch. Overall, Alfred Brush Ford Park is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful retreat along the Detroit River. Its excellent views, plentiful picnic areas, and fishing access make it a destination worth visiting. While a few benches could use some repair, the overall experience and beauty of the park overshadow this minor issue. Whether you're looking for a scenic spot for a picnic, a tranquil place to relax, or a fishing haven, Alfred Brush Ford Park delivers a memorable experience amidst the serenity of nature's embrace.

It's always nice to go by the water and chill out. My only concern is the litter. They should hire my cleaning company Essential Brand Cleaning LLC to keep the parks clean. 😏

The only thing that separates my home from this park is a chain link fence. It's definitely a hidden jewel of Detroit, Mi. Located on the east side of DETROIT, sitting on the Detroit River,, where the Detroit River runs into Lake St. CLAIR. THE park is currently under renovation, the riverwalk plays host to fisherman, cycles, and its an amazing and peaceful site to sit and watch the sailboats, with their colorful masts. Windsor Ontario, CA, is on the opposite shore which is about a mile across the water. It is a beautiful, well maintained (by the city) park. The park is avidly used daily, it has clean bathrooms, a playscape for kids, soccer facilities, picnic tables, and lots of room

Signs leading to the park could be better. Not a lot of parking, over all nice park with a relaxing feel right on the Detroit river.

The park didn't seem to have many facilities, but the proximity to the water was good. It was a great spot to fill sandbags though.

One of the best quiet places to get outside and relax in the city. Right off of the river and the views are wonderful. Check it out when you get the chance.

I was at the park to do some work, so it was very muddy where I was at. But I can't wait to come back with the family to explore, enjoy, and give a proper review. It's a very quiet hidden park with a fantastic view

Very pretty park just accross from the historical district in Detroit. I came on a sunny day, the reflection of the sun off of the Renaissance Center is beautiful and indescribable. The park is also just off of a great river walk that has a view of the ambassador bridge and Windsor, Canada accross the Detroit river

It's a beautiful view of the river, but the park would be better if a few more trash and recycling cans were there to help our community keep it clean. A decent park for the kids.

Had our family/friend picnic July 4th weekend and it was beautiful!! The park has public restrooms, playground, parking, but only one picnic shed. Even though we brought tents, so it was ok! Beautiful park overall and by the water!!

Great Park, lovely view of the water. We use to call it Lakewood Park about 30 Years ago. The park looks beautiful and stronger than ever. Great place to visit after work with a few Adult Beverages. U know what I mean. Have fun

Great view and nice old trees. Some of the paths need upgrading and part of seawall is caved in, but it is great urban park with potential
