Have been living in Michigan my whole life and the train station has always been a well known landmark. Everyone for sure thought it would eventually be getting tore down. I am so happy they decided to restore it instead and am even more excited to see how much value it brings to the inner city! Have been here a few times since they have started the construction and man are they making progress! Thanks for all your hard work!

Very well done after years of vacancy. A great spot to have lunch while taking in the views of remodeled Michigan Central Train Station. Phone charging stations and bike repair stations are available and free to use.

We have children in the area and love seeing the improvements to the Corktown area of Detroit since Ford Motor purchased and in process of renovating the old train station. Our recent visit to the area included Roosevelt Park which is a beautiful work in progress. Very nice landscaping, flowers, trees and picnic area. We love the transformation, and it will be great see the completed project. Amazing work so far, check out this beautiful park.

This once-abandoned gem has been masterfully brought back to life and now stands as a captivating sight, especially when lit up at night. As you approach the station, the grand facade immediately catches your eye, blending historic charm with a modern touch. The architects have preserved its unique architectural elements while incorporating contemporary lighting features that add a mesmerizing glow to the surroundings. The play of light and shadows highlights the intricate details of the building, creating an enchanting ambiance that beckons both locals and tourists alike. The station's restoration has clearly been a labor of love, as every corner exudes an air of elegance and a sense of history. Walking inside, you'll be awestruck by the spacious interior that now serves as a bustling hub of activity. I grew up with the old train station being abandoned and run down.....this was nice to see. It's still going to take a minute to get used to Corktown being completely re-done but I guess it's for the best. I love you Detroit! and you will forever be home

Beautifully done! I remember driving by here as a kid visiting Detroit. Now that I’ve moved here, I had to visit with my son. We got mangonadas from Mexicantown and then came over to swing.

This park is recently renovated over the past year or so... It's finally open... They did a fabulous job... There are walkways and benches... There are no public restrooms... There are no playgrounds... It's right in front of the old train depot which is currently being renovated and also looks amazing. What a huge difference from what it used to look like. People are actually going to use this park now.

Highly recommend you go there as soon as you can & experience the next chapter of Detroit/Corktown's story... In a couple of years, what you see today will be in a different light.

I'm really hoping that the City of Detroit will allow public events to be held at Roosevelt Park. It's such a great location. Festivals and events held in the park is also good for the businesses in Corktown. Utilize the space, Detroit!
