Was a beautiful lively experience upon leaving the fast bus from Gratiot. It looks so gorgeous at night and is well kept and pleasant.

This area is awful for the people who actually live in Detroit and use Woodward for transportation and not sight seeing. I’m extremely disappointed that so many streets including a state highway (Woodward) have been blocked because of an attempt to attract tourists? Suburbanites? We have Hart Plaza and Campus Martius. There’s the riverwalk and adjacent areas. That’s a lot for a city that’s only walkable 6-8 months out of the year. If folks love it that much, please move it somewhere other than at the intersection of the two major streets in downtown. Get rid of this and open up Jefferson and Woodward in 2024!

Great place to chill. There are usually food trucks, activities for children and adults. A DJ in the evening and plenty of space to stroll around.

My CITY TURNS UP AND SHOW OUT EVERYTIME . I love coming down here in the summer.. it's sad to see them gentrify the downtown area, and treat it as its the only part of the city. But the love that I feel down here when present I know YOU CAN NEVER TAKE THAT FROM THE PEOPLE!! NEVER
